I read this awhile back from Author Brennan Manning who wrote “The Ragamuffin Gospel”……This is really how I feel about my life for Jesus, I know I will never be a popular radio host, TV host, Pastor……I will never gain fame in Man’s eye’s, I will never be rich with money……that is not my call. I surround myself with so many people of like mind, spirit….I have so many Godly role models….we share the same.to serve our Lord with all our hearts……As Pastor Mark Tross said, “Look what they did to Jesus!”

The kingdom belongs to people who aren’t trying to look good or impress anybody, even themselves. They are not plotting how they can call attention to themselves, worrying about how their actions will be interpreted or wondering if they get gold stars for their behavior.
Where do you fit into that?
To many Christians are afraid to Preach the Gospel and declare the Word of God. Trying to draw attention to themselves, worrying about their actions……How they will be scene by man.
Too many want to be Politically correct!!!!
Only if many Christians would share what they do at the lunch table with the World……they are afraid to go public!!! Oh, I can’t say that……is their reply. I may offend someone!
Too many Christian’s “PLOT” and do not hear from God on what they are to do.They go off on their own Will.
We should be more concerned about how God see’s us!!
Up here at 4:30……..waiting to her the birds sing..(they are now singing at 5:40am as the sun begins to rise! PRAISE GOD!)….the smoke was so bad in Albuquerque last night that it affected the breathing of me and Sharon. This smoke has got to be filled with some nasty stuff! Gov. Martinez has called out the National Guard here in New Mexico to go to the border and help with this Arizona Wildfire that is a huge problem now in New Mexico. Air Quality is very, very poor. Man is once again finding out he has very little control. We had our friend, Ken, from the National Weather Service on with us last night and he told us, “No rain in sight, it will get worse before it get’s better.” Let us pray!
Texas Gov. Rick Perry is being bold and has called for a National day of Prayer and now is being attacked by secular organizations for favoring Christianity!!!!! Okay!!! AWESOME FOR GOV. PERRY! BOLD leadership for Jesus! Just think here in America, founded by God, A Gov. calling for prayer is called on his action for calling the Country to fast and pray…..for favoring God. How very, very sad.

We love to hear from you! yesterday was quite a day, challenging times to get the CUP out, Tech prob’s all around, someone messing with the KKIM Web Poll……that is an ongoing problem, we will just pull the plug on the poll. We are forging ahead, Son Mike worked on my PC last night and cleaned it up, virus protection, defragged it, and we are going okay this morning thus far, PRAISE GOD, we are praying.

We appreciate Miki and Jose in Santa Fe so much! I really never think of my protection so much, But Dr. Larry Bates told me the other day to “watch my backside” Sharon is concerned at times for my safety. I am not fearful, I have my Lord. I did not intend on sharing this with you this morning but this is what the Lord is having me share. I have had my life threatened at least twice, and also of being beaten up.
I have had enough wise people tell me to “watch out” as the Ministry goes forth Boldly in Jesus, But we pray everyday for the Lord’s Will to be done, show us what needs to be said and written, and the work HE wants us to do and we try to do it. We pray for protection everyday….We also covet your prayers for all of us here at the CUP and Radio Ranch.

It’s like Josh Ham, latest member of our Ministry team, told me yesterday, When you talk to people about the light of Jesus, they either will come around to see the light of Jesus…….or when they are in the darkness they go away and stay that way or even get mad at the light shining and persisting. Just think back to the days when Jesus and the Disciples walked the earth. We are to walk the walk of Jesus….and look what they did to Jesus!
If anything, we as Christians have gotten lazy and are not walking the walk of Jesus Christ, in carrying out the Great Commission and being the Salt and Light!
An old saying is, as the Church goes the Country goes……….we now can look at the results, by looking at the mess in our Country that we have allowed to happen.
Is this the America that you want to hand down to your children and their children?
Only 5 to 10% of Americans go to Church on Sundays!
What do we expect the results to be of that?
Too many Christians are scared to be BOLD! They do not want to offend anybody!!
Me, I do not want to offend my LORD! AMEN!
Prayer today: Give us O; Lord the wisdom the next time we have the opportunity to choose a leader. Remind me of Moses and the importance you place on leadership.

We have been discussing the recent poll of by the Washington Post that shows Mitt Romney in a dead heat with President Obama.
Yesterday on our 3:30 program, Dewey’s Daily Cup, I had Phil Holt and Josh Ham with me ,our latest additions to the KKIM/KARS/SHINE Ministry team.
They both are in their 20’s.Both are solid men of God.Phil is the son of Pastor Paul Holt, who of course is with us here at the Radio Ranch and Josh is studying to become a Pastor.
Josh has many Mormon friends, and he is not proud of how he used to witness to all the Mormons he knew in Nevada. He still has many Mormon friends. Josh said they are all great people, hard working, dedicated to family.
Phil said Mormons are good business people and they know how to run a budget.
Both Phil and Josh said they would not be bothered by a Mormon being President of the United States. , thou they both would prefer a Christian.
I have to share with you that all the Mormons I know, and I know plenty are great people. They witness to me and I witness to them. My Mormon friends know where I stand and I know where they stand.
The best witness Christians can do is walk the walk of Jesus.
I do not like referring to my friends as my Mormon friends, they are my friends in Jesus and I will continue to share my Jesus with them, by my walk and talk.
I am so thrilled in my Jesus what is happening here in New Mexico, with Evangelicals, Protestants , and Catholic’s coming together……now I believe is the time to reach out to the Mormon Community.
I know some are uncomfortable with my writings here…..but so be it..these are the word’s that God has given me…..we must reach out…..find common ground and go from there, like we have here in New Mexico with the Catholic Church and defeated ugly, UnGodly legislation. By witnessing to others, many come to Christ.
Read this weeks issue of Newsweek on the Mormon Church. You will learn more. Newsweek call’s the Mormon Church, “Worth Billions, The Mormon Church is the General Electric of American Religion.
As I said yesterday, the Mormon Church knows how to market itself better than McDonalds.
We must remember that the Mormon faith, is not Christian through all this, but we must educate ourselves on what they believe and be a good witness, not just ignore and hate, no hate please, carry out the Great Commission and be the Salt and Light. Walk the walk of Jesus.

For heaven’s sake I have people telling me to go to WAR about Immigration! WAR? God’s people are being hurt by the dysfunction of our Government. We used to have an orderly manner of immigration, and this Country lost control and did not enforce the law and is now paying the price, but we dare not go to war with these people, many who are innocent. It’s just like drunk driving…..we are killing innocent people here in New Mexico, we have become a Country that passes laws on top of laws and do not enforce the ones already on the books! We have people who have been stopped 20 times or more for drunk driving and they are still driving we have many repeat offenders in all crimes in this country, we do not enforce the laws we have on the books that made this country great, we have gone backwards and are paying for not enforcing the laws already on the books, it is as simple as that! We have corruption in our Government and Courts.
We have many people coming across the border from Mexico coming to our Church in Los Lunas, many with small children….we must be careful on this issue, we must seek God in this.
Dad used to say you can’t put all in one egg basket, they are God’s people…individuals.

That is a good question for all of us and the United States of America.
We allowed this problem of Immigration to become a ticking time bomb!
Just like we allowed our Government to move away from God and go bankrupt.
This is all our own fault.
Republicans and Democrats share equal blame.
