Dear KKIM/KARS/SHINE Family,
May the Peace and Strength of our Lord be with you and yours!
We are cleaning out the mail box and we are now able to add more people……..This email was like honey to the soul! Kind words are like honey—sweet to the soul and healthy for the body. Proverbs 16:24
I don’t know how you got my email address but I thank God you did! I have been blessed the last couple of days with your message. Please keep them coming as I am in need of all the inspiration and fellowship with my Lord Jesus that I can get!! Again, thank you……………………………….Kathy
Thank you Kathy!! What an encouragement your email is!!! The Lord has shook up our mailing list and HE found you! PRAISE GOD!!!! So glad to have you here at the CUP! We love you so!
I thank Jannetta LaMort for all she does, she is an Angel of God here on earth, she has spent much time on our mail box issues! Thank you so much Jannetta! We love you so! What a Women of God she is!
It’s great to hear from new folks and also folks we have not heard from in a long time, like Robb!
Hi Dewey, This is Rob McNutt. Hope all is well. I can see the very
moral fiber of our country and world disintegrating right before us.
Come Lord Jesus come. We are in the times where they are calling what
is good evil and what is evil good. Come Lord Jesus come. Keep
watching and praying and keep reading His Word and endeavor to keep
God’s logo. Love ya, Rob
Right on Robb! Love ya man! Taking more heat here at the CUP and Radio Ranch in our stand for Jesus! Attacks more than ever standing for Jesus! The Lord has shown me first hand why many Pastor’s and others retreat, they can’t stand the heat in the kitchen! It can really wear you down and hurt at times! It takes a firm foundation in our LORD! That is why we are here everyday to offer up encouragement in our LORD, so that we all remain strong and pray for each other. Spiritual warfare is going strong!
Last night we had a wonderful conversation with Pastor Steve Smothermon, who is with us each Wednesday on NM news and Views…..Steve was saying how the Word of God becomes part of you by reading the Word daily……Like Robb said in his email read God’s Word it is the bread of life.
Jesus stopped and said,”Call him.”
So they called the blind man and said to him, “Have courage! get up; He’s calling you.” he threw off his coat, jumped up, and came to Jesus.
Then Jesus answered him, “What do you want Me to do for you?”
“Rabbouni,” the blind man told Him, “I want to see!”
“Go your way,” Jesus told him. “Your faith has healed you.” Immediately he could see and began to follow Him on the road.
AMEN! Those same miracles are available to us this day! Jesus still heals! Jesus is still in the miracle making business, have faith my friends!
Get yourself a Bible where the Words of Jesus are in red and just pick it up and start reading..I love it……I have so many Bibles….and I read in them all….but the ones that put the words of Jesus in red, I love so much!
We are living in a time where 36% of Christians do not believe in the whole Bible and 46% of Born again Christians do not believe that Satan is true! Pastor Steve Smothermon said, he would question then whether or not these people are born again. God’s Word is God’s Word and that is it! If you do not believe in the Bible you are not a Christian, plain an simple. My goodness sakes, it is God’s Word! The Church is in much trouble. Many who call themselves Christians are not. We are living in a time of the “water downed” Church. Many have “watered down” His Word. I do not want to face my Lord and say that I watered down His Word!
I am lying if I do not tell the truth, and the truth is God’s Word. The Whole truth and nothing but the truth!
For us here at the CUP, God’s Word is ALIVE IN US! AMEN! IT drives us each day!
Here is a great devotional by Charles Stanley 8:05am weekdays on KKIM about having God in our lives constantly.AMEN!

Let your conscience be your guide. This bit of folk wisdom seems to make sense since our conscience is designed to help us discern right from wrong. However, people cannot always trust their internal radar to steer them correctly; this is the case particularly with unbelievers, who don’t have the Holy Spirit to reveal truth and offer guidance for wise decisions. And while Christians do have God’s indwelling Spirit, they should be careful not to harbor sin in their lives, as that can interfere with the way their morality sensor functions.
A trustworthy conscience is programmed with scriptural teaching. Believers build a stable and sensitive spiritual radar system by applying God’s truth to their lives. They are committed to thinking and acting in ways that honor and please the Lord. Then, when sinful thoughts or choices come across that radar, it will deliver a sharp warning.
A person with a reliable conscience will have a strong desire to obey God. He won’t settle for what feels right or looks good, but instead prayerfully seeks the Lord’s will. In other words, he does not rely solely on his conscience but incorporates all of the Holy Spirit’s tools into his daily life: Scripture, prayer, etc. Moreover, when his spiritual radar sounds the alarm, he is quick to draw back and reject unwise choices.
A conscience isn’t designed to be our guide; it is a tool of the Guide. The Holy Spirit not only convicts us of sin, but He also brings to mind godly principles and leads us on a righteous path. He uses a variety of tools to conform us to the likeness of Christ (Rom. 8:29).
AMEN! Praise God!
Yesterday I had Judith Nowen of Joyful Ministries in Santa Fe on Dewey’s daily Cup on the radio at 3:30.Oh, My friends she is a prayer warrior! Yes she is! here is a note from Judith…….
Dewey, I got your email. I will be hosting George Otis Journey to Transformation Course on November 3,4,& 5. George Otis was here in SF and Alb in Feb. showed a DVD on the only place in the US that has been Transformed by Jesus. There have been 800 other places, but they are in other countries. The DVD he did on Manchester, KY is called An Appalachian Dawn. I believe we are ready for transformation of NM. I am holding Transformation Prayer every Sunday evening at 6:00 pm at Joyful Ministries. Prayer is how we are moving in transformation and I think the Course in November will give us more tools to help us. George did a tour of the US and so I know many are wanting Transformation to happen. . We are also putting up Prayer Tents on August 13th 11-3 around SF for people to get prayer. We will have 2-4 people in each tent to pray for any one that wants prayer. They can also make written requests. We are praying in Santa Fe……….
Won’t it be wonderful to see Santa Fe transformed for Jesus and NM transformed for Jesus. Jesus loves his people! That is what I am up to. You can contact me @ 505-690-1495 if needed. Thank you for all you do for Jesus!
Thank you for the simple test. Blessings, In Him, Judith
WOW! We loved that movie that Larry Moss showed here in Albuquerque on Appalachian Dawn! What a story! Thanks for the heads up Judith!
The Passing of a Great Godly man…….
Renowned Christian leader Rev. John Stott passed away in his sleep, Wednesday, at his home in London.
Stott, considered one of the greatest evangelical thinkers of the 20th century, led an evangelical resurgence in England in the 1960s and 1970s.
He influenced Christians worldwide through his preaching and writings. He authored 50 books during his lifetime.
Stott was ordained by the Church of England in 1945 and served at All Souls Church in London for more than 60 years.
His ministry spanned the globe with a variety of outreach programs. His ministry also has offices in the United States.
Stott believed God wanted to see the church grow in maturity and not just numbers. This was a major emphasis of his work.
Along with the Rev. Billy Graham, he helped craft the 1974 Lausanne Covenant, helping define the evangelical movement.
“The evangelical world has lost one of its greatest spokesmen,” Graham said of Stott’s passing. “And I have lost one of my close personal friends and advisors.”
In 2005, Time magazine named him one of the 100 most influential people in the world. Stott was 90 years old.
I would encourage you to read his books!
Sam wrote to us about yesterday Funny Bone from Wanell on GREEN!
LOL Dewey, I did get a laugh out of that. As it brought back all my nicest memories. Ones of washing on a Rub Board. And then putting them thru the Wringer to get all the water out so to dry faster on the line! …. I couldn’t run to the market every time I needed milk so I just walked to my neighbor to get my two gallons of Fresh Milk so I could make my butter, cheese, and cottage cheese, yogurt and Cream. I remember sitting there with a gallon of milk in a jug rolling it on my knee to make the butter. And after drinking that Wonderful Buttermilk that the Butter came out of..It didn’t even matter it was still warm. So Good..Instead of getting my olives at the store I would spend weeks picking them and then curing them in very large igloo’s with Lye.. Those were the best olives I’ve ever eaten. And Everyone I knew couldn’t wait for Christmas for they knew that was their Present from me a gallon of Home Made Olives……And back further in my memories when my first Schwin bicycle my dad bought me so I didn’t have to walk half a mile every day each way to school. Boy did I feel blessed! NO we didn’t have the ‘Green’ in my day, but we did have Comfort in knowing we could survive. Now a days I can understand how people are so undone while they live in apartments and don’t even have a garden. Their total dependence on the government has brought them nothing but Fear. IF only they Knew in their heart God will Provide. That is ALL that is needed these days. The Knowledge that God WILL provide no matter what. TY for posting that wonderful letter of the green ways of days past. God’s Peace, sam
‘just me’ :0)
Please also pray for Sam, as she has had a rough summer, in much pain…Summer is usually her good months….please pray for Sam! We Love you Sam!
My friends, we live in a time where we must take risks for the Lord like never before.the Lord is with us!!! AMEN…..here is an excellent devotional on risk…..
Faith Means Taking Risks by Jon Walker |
Faith always means risk. Everything in life is a risk. Ecclesiastes 10:8 says, “When you work in a quarry, stones might fall and crush you! When you chop wood, there is danger with each stroke of your ax! Such are the risks of life” (NLT). There’s nothing we can do that doesn’t have some element of risk in it. If you’ll do the 80 percent of God’s will that’s clear in the Bible, he’ll show you the 20 percent that’s not clear. In other words, love your neighbor. Spend time in God’s Word. Talk to God in prayer. Spend time with God’s people. Love your family. Love your kids. Protect the way that you speak to people. Be kind in your relationships. Be patient. Do the 80 percent that’s clear, and God will show you the rest. |
Thanks for stopping by today for a CUP!
In the Love of Jesus Christ, Dewey Sharon and family
