Why don’t all Church’s have the 10 Commandments posted?

My Uncle Joe used to say, “Why can’t people just follow the 10 Commandments?”

What a World it would be! We have made life so complicated….God’s way is so simple as for a Child can understand.

Jesus said, “listen and understand: It’s not what goes into the mouth that defiles a man, but what comes out of the mouth, this defiles a man.” Matt 14: 10-11

We have many prayer need’s this day……..

Please pray for our Youth Pastor, Jesse Clifton and his wife Caitlin. Caitlin who is pregnant is now in the hospital with a blood clot. Last night she was suffering from shortness of breath and the doctors fear the blood clot has moved. Here’s the note from Jeneane after talking to Jesse’s mom, Robin.

I got a call from Robin this evening and things are changing pretty fast with Jesse and Caitlin. She is suffering from shortness of breath, and the fear is that the blood clot has broken off and is in her lungs. There also seems to be some discrepancies is the Doctors wishes for treatment and overall care. SO, please pray for the clot to be dissolved, and for wisdom and guidance for the doctors, and for Jesse and Caitlin. Prayer for strength, rest and peace for both families as well.

Also, Jason Weaver has a pretty stressful, difficult situation at work right now. Please pray for level heads to prevail and for wisdom for all involved in it.

Not to go against anything the Lord has told you, Dewey, but I prefer Dewey’s Daily Cup. It’s very welcoming, not “pious” sounding, yet the word “Cup” is very spiritual and full of gospel meaning. It won’t send an unbeliever running before even reading it, as something too pious will. My two cents!
The word I keep thinking about, which I think describes you and any real pastor, is the word “approachable”. Uncompromising but approachable, like Jesus. Dewey’s Daily Cup is that way, too.

What a POWERFUL note of GODLY LOVE and GODLY WISDOM from Victor, you see this is the Body of Christ at work, Victor has so much love and concern he was not afraid to voice his opinion in love. To many Christians are afraid to voice their opinion because they get shot down or have been shot down by another Christian. One Pastor told me awhile back, Christians are good at kicking their wounded!

Victor thanks for the note…..also your Word’s”Uncompromising but approachable” I pray I can live up to those words! It is a call out to us all to be UNCOMPROMISING but APPRAOCHABLE!

To much of the Body of Christ has compromised God’s way and word’s and is not approachable!

Thank you for all the love you have sent our way…many of you have passed on the word that you missed the CUP while I was gone, you also said you so much enjoy New Mexico News and Views each day.

You should see my office wall and window it is full of cards of people send love notes!!!! What a blessing that is!!! Don’t tell me people don’t write love notes anymore! We get mail from listeners more than the average radio station. What encouragement you all are in these days! This does not count all the emails! Each letter is like a pill of Godly energy, people taking time to write!

We also have had mail as far away as Tennessee, commenting on the write up in the Christian Radio Guide on KKIM.

All this is the Body of Christ coming together to encourage one another. AMEN! PRAISE GOD!

Lars says, “Dad you are always so happy and encouraging others…” Love my Son for that! Probably 90 to 95% of the time, but I do have my down time but then I have my Lord, Sharon, the Kids, the doggies, and dozens of Pastor’s and other people who help hold me up, that I am so ever grateful for! Thank you LORD! We are the Body of Christ.

That is why I posted on Facebook yesterday, that it makes me sad when I am told by people they are Christian but do not have a Pastor or Church, the Body of Christ. Oh my dear friends there is a Pastor and Church,a Body of Christ out there for you!!! How do I know? I have seen it!!!!!

I am here today to tell you that the LORD has a Pastor and a Church for you! Seek and you shall find!

Yesterday at Cross of Hope where Sharon and I visited yesterday Pastor Dale Bauer said the Body of Christ is to hold each other up and encourage each other! Pastor Dale’s message was outstanding. Sharon and I were so touched by the love shown to us by the entire Congregation.

One of the greatest blessing’s the Lord has given us is the opportunity to visit and speak at other Church’s and visit with folks and hear other Pastor’s Preach, what a blessing. It has expanded our world, it help’s me be a better Preacher myself and Manager of KKIM/KARS/SHINE.

I am always encouraged when I travel to other Church’s and see the passion people have for our Lord. KKIM/KARS/SHINE is an non-denominational Radio Ministry, and we continue to see walls being brought down.

Cross of Hope is a Lutheran Church, I grew up in the Lutheran Church. Cross of Hope brought back memories from the 50’s and 60’s. It is a conservative Lutheran Church. Sharon and I had many people come up to us thanking us for KKIM and NM News and Views.

I have been cleaning out my office, (It was that or Sharon was going to call in the EPA, Environmental Protection Agency!!! LOL LOL) This morning after visiting Cross of Hope yesterday
I found a little book that Rev. Kvamme gave me when I was Confirmed! I has saved that book and it survived all these years.

Once again I go back to my roots in Windom, Minn and the Lutheran Church. The American Lutheran Church in Windom, Minn. My Sunday School Teachers, Orville Fredrickson and Irene Hartberg. Roots are so important and that is my prayer for our Children and your Children and their Children that we give them Godly roots and that is one of the reason I do what I do everyday, that is what the Lord ha called me to do.

This is not of me but of the Lord. The Lord call’s me everyday to do what I do, He drives me everyday, His word’s not mine, His actions not mine. I have turned my life completely over to Him, where it’s all about Him and what He wants me to do and say.

Not man’s way, but God’s way. The Holy Spirit leads the way…….yesterday as Sharon and I were at Cross of Hope, there was such a covering over us, I could feel it! YES I DID!

As I grow in my relationship with my Lord, I feel HIS presence more and more, yesterday a GREAT PRESENCE, I could feel the covering of the Holy Spirit, I could not only feel the presence of the Holy Spirit, I repeat I could feel it!

The Holy Spirit is there for all of us!!! All of us!!! Not just me and Sharon all of us!

How do you get to that point? By turning your whole life over to HIM. By surrendering to HIM in all you do and think.

There is nothing more POWERFUL and PEACEFUL!!!!

Does that mean your problems are over??? Not at all they will increase, as you become more of a target for Satan, But our LORD is with us!

Sharon and I , and the Ministry have, probably, more challenges than ever!

Be gone from here Satan!

I was commenting on this Friday on NM news and Views, all the crazy things we are seeing in the World is as simple as people having Jesus Christ in their life or not.

Are they in the darkness or the Light?

Do they know Jesus?

We will continue on being the Salt and Light and carrying out the Great Commission until the Lord returns!

Please pray for mu 90 year old Uncle Bob Caraway who has skin cancer and had part of his lip removed. Uncle Bob served our Country in WWII and was on a secret mission for 1 year, Grandpa and Grandma Caraway did not know where he was at for a year! Can you imagine??? Uncle Bob lives in Upland, California.

Tonight, Lord Willing, Heights Christian Church softball team goes for the Championship at 6:30pm at Tingley Field!!! First time in years that I have played in a Championship game!!! PRAISE GOD! It has been since the 70’s that Heights has won a Championship!!!

Offended people believe everyone is out to get them. With this attitude it is very hard for them to see areas in their own life that need to be changed. They isolate themselves and conduct themselves in such a manner that invites abuse.
Proverbs 18:1 says…..A man who isolates himself seeks his own desire; he rages against all wise judgement.
Been seeing this a lot lately in people who say they want help, but they continue on in the flesh.

Here is a practical point. Study the Bible a little at a time. God seems to send messages as did his manna: one day’s portion at a time. He provides ” a command here, a command there. A rule here, a rule there. A little lesson here, a little lesson there” (Isa. 28:10). Choose depth over quantity.

Well, we had an AWESOME time at the wedding! The wedding was simply AWESOME WOW! It was an outdoor wedding outside of Denver, Colo. The setting was so wonderful! I walked the grounds of the setting for an hour for the Holy Spirit to come, bring peace, wonderment of Holy marriage, hold of the rain please Lord……..The Holy Spirit covered this wedding! Steph and Patrick became husband and wife, Gretchen surprised them by singing , “At Last” people thought it was a recording but it was Gretchen, She is blessed with an AWESOME singing voice! ……..It was just a blessed time. Sharon cried tears of joy! Myself, Son’s Lars and Greg were ushers. Mike provided moral support! Patrick’s Dad is a General in the Army Corp of Engineers, we had such a great time talking!
Then Sharon and I, plus Gretchen and Lars headed up to Estes Park, Colo. The Lord keeps brining us to this place, laying it on our hearts. We are looking for property there now. A future home? A future second home? The Lord is telling us to pursue land and a home, so that is what we are doing. The Holy Spirit was with us like never before, leading us all the way. We are excited to see what the Lord is doing. This may take years…but the Holy Spirit is moving……we must follow……we must never go before the Lord….
My friends let the Holy Spirit guide every move you make, every word you say.Ask yourself this day, “Lord, Am I in your Will? Do not say a Word unless the Lord is telling you to say it. Be in the Lord’s Will in everything you say ands do.
Oh. what a better World for our Lord it would be if all Christians would do this. Christians must look at themselves more and more in these days to make sure they are in the Will of God.
This trip did Godly wonders for Sharon and I. I must take more time off and must spend more time with family. Thanks to you all who have sent blessing on Steph’s and Patrick’s marriage.

This morning I want to continue the study of John Bevere’s book, The Bait of Satan…..This is a life changing book, please go out and get a copy for yourself…….We continue to study what happens when we let offense rule us.
I talked to Sharon and the kid’s a lot this past week about hanging on to offenses. When some one offends you, hurts you, speaks ill will of you,do not take ownership of that! It will rule you, Satan wants you to hang onto that and it becomes part of you. Do not let it hang on….Put on the armor of God and say be gone from here Satan! There is so much garbage flying around in this world it is so easy to hang onto it and be offended and let it rule your day. Shake it off my friends, that garbage or offenses is not of our Lord.
I have to say I have met so many Christians that have this problem, even Pastor’s who have been hurt by their own congregations and hold onto it for years……marriages, families are destroyed by this….people go into grid lock for years….
Some people hang onto garbage for years and become angry people. My brother Daryl is suffering from this going on 26 years! He was offended and took ownership of the offense and it has ruled his life all these years. Maybe you have had a similar experience or have a loved one who has.
If we have expectations about certain people, those people can let me down. They will disappoint you and me to the degree that they fall short of our expectations. But if I have no expectations about someone, anything given is a blessing and not something owed.
We set ourselves up for offense when we require certain behaviors from those with whom we have relationships. The more we expect, the greater the potential offense.
Walls of Protection?
A brother offended is harder to win than a strong city, and contentions are like the bars of a castle. Proverbs 18:19
An offended brother or sister is harder is harder to win than a fortified city. The strong cities had walls around them. These walls were the city’s assurance of protection. They kept unwelcome inhabitants and invaders out. All entrants were screened. Those who owed taxes were not allowed in until they had paid. Those considered a threat to the city’s health or safety were kept out. (Sounds like the United States today!!)
We construct walls when we are hurt to safeguard our hearts and prevent any future wounds. We become selective, denying entry to all we fear will hurt us. We stop going to Church in many cases and saying we don’t need the Church or a Pastor.We filter out anyone we think owes us something. We withhold access until these people have paid their debts in full. We open our lives only to those we believe are on our side.
Yet often these people who are “on our side” are offended as well. So, instead of helping, we stake additional stones on our existing walls. Without our knowing when it happens, these walls of protection become a prison! yes they do! At that point, we are not only cautious about who comes in but in terror we cannot venture outside our fortress.

The focus of offended Christians is inward and introspective. We guard our rights and personal relationships carefully. Our energy is consumed with making sure no future injuries will occur. if we don’t risk being hurt, we cannot give unconditional love. Unconditional love gives others the right to hurt us.

Love does not seek it’s own, but hurt people become more and more self-seeking and self-contained. In this climate the love of God waxes cold…..what a description…waxes cold…..the warmest, thickest blanket cannot get you warm at a time like this……

Well we were gone, Dr. Kyle Martin (Weekdays at 5:30am, 7:35am,. 4pm on KKIM) put out a call for his Sister Janae who has been ill since the revival in Flint, Michigan. She has been very sick. Would you please join us in prayer………

Hey friends,

First of all – I just wanted to say thanks to all of you who prayed last night for Janae. We had people across North America praying for Janae – from the red-rock mountains of Sedona, to the corn fields of Indiana, to even on actual rooftops in downtown Asheville (thanks to the band of brothers)! I love it.

It was truly a special evening. We had over 35+ adults/children physically join us in one accord for the healing of Janae’s body.
We were packed little sardines in a second story bedroom surrounding Janae’s pallet (that’s her bed)…and lifted her up in prayer before the Lord.
The worship team was placed in the bathroom next door. It was truly a sight to see.

Declarations for healing were spoken. Songs of deliverance were sung. Prayers were cried out. Word of God was declared.
Jesus Christ was exalted.

Two important notes:
· Janae called about her blood work yesterday and the doctor’s office informed her that they had mishandled her blood. So she had to go in yesterday afternoon and provide new blood. Out with the old and in with the new. Life is in the blood.
o This coming Monday, Janae could possibly have the results of her blood work.
· For 10 minutes (7:00 pm – 7:10 pm) last night – it rained on Garth and Janae’s house. Signs of repentance, mercy and healing.

My Brother Daryl took a turn for the worse well we were gone, he is in the Hospital again, Karen Rowe has had Daryl on her mind and sent this in last night……..Karen is so in tuned with the Holy Spirit she knew Daryl was in troubled times.

Re: Psalm 91 and a connected interpretation. This writing is not mine, but I found it while looking for “God is our protector” as per a request by a friend.

Also, close on my mind was John 3:16 for another friend who has recently been diagnosed as Bi-Polar and has has suicidal thoughts.
I spoke to Rev Alston for spiritual guidance and the revelation came to him to tell her to read John 3:16…ask her if she understood it and then read it again making it personal with her name.
Finally, to tell her that God already sent us his Son ~ he has already died for her and that she didn’t have to do this. The same message has been with me to just help her to believe that God loved her so much that he sent his only Son for her because he loves her so much….

Today all these scriptures wrapped together with the message

Read over this and prayerfully consider your brother. I have just had him on my heart through this.

Regardless, my prayers are with him and you and I pray that these Scriptures will be a blessing to Daryl. I just hope he knows how much God loves him to have him on my mind and heart to sent this to you today.
