The Bible tells us that the eternal plan of God has been to build “a kingdom of priests” and “a holy people” (Exodus 19″6; Rev 1:6, 1 Peter 1: 14-16) Perhaps we’ve been too distracted by our culture, competing for applause, approval, and success. Might it be the time to return to the basics? To look into the face of God until we ache with bliss? AMEM! AMEN!

Be Like Jesus

What does it mean to be just like Jesus? The world has never known a heart so pure, a character so flawless. His spiritual hearing was so keen He never missed a heavenly whisper. His mercy so abundant He never missed a chance to forgive. No lie left His lips, no distraction marred His vision. He touched when others recoiled. He endured when others quit. Jesus is the ultimate model for every person.
PRAISE GOD! let us be like Jesus! Less of us more of Him!

Our behavior is often a reflection of our beliefs about who we are. It is usually consistent with what we think to be true about ourselves (Proverbs 23:7). If we base our worth solidly on the truths of God’s Word, then our behavior will often reflect His love, grace, and power. But if we base our worth on our abilities or the fickle approval of others, then our behavior will reflect the insecurity, fear, and anger that comes from such instability.

I just wanted to say hi! I just wanted to praise God and thank him for his faithfulness and divine timing! God is so Good –I just wanted to shout out some goodness in his name! Jesus thank you for what you have done!!! We are blessed by his blood and nothing can overcome us when we remain in God’s Holy Son, Jesus Christ … who is the Christ the Son of the living God! In my soul, higher than my hands can raise up high, I share with you in praise to our Father who art in Heaven, hallowed be thy name. Thy Kingdom come, thy will be done on earth as it is in Heaven. Give us this day our daily bread and forgive us our trespasses/debts/sin as we have already forgiven those who have debted/trespassed/sinned against us. Lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil … For thine is the Kingdom, and the glory and the power forever. Amen!

“As a lot of you have already heard, Renn Bailey, went home to be with Jesus last night. He apparently had a seizure and didn’t come out of it. If you don’t know Renn, he is our blind drummer at church. He was just 22 years old. He played with the worship team just yesterday. The praise is that he gets to SEE Jesus today, the prayer is for his mom Tana, his Dad, Clay and the rest of his family, as well as for the VVCC family as he will leave a void in our lives and our worship times on Sundays. We will let you know more info as we have it.”

Hello Dewey and all my brothers and sisters in Christ!

Thank you for your prayers for the results of my cancer scan. While the cancer has disappeared in all but two spots, it has grown slightly more active in those two spots. So back to the chemical drawing board. My doctor is a man of faith, and I trust him, and he is totally changing my chemo cocktail. He believes I may be resistant to one of the drugs we were using, so he is switching me to another one, and supplementing it with a combination that is supposed to be particularly good for skeletal metastases for cancer. Anyways, it means I am starting a new chemo. I am not happy about the side effects, but after being upset for a couple of days I admit to feeling excited that this something new may be exactly right. God is good, He is faithful, and He knows what He is doing. I admit to dancing between anger and awe sometimes….thankfully He understands and loves me through the confusion! I appreciate your continued prayers, as always, and pray that God blesses each of you with health and strength. Amen.

Sharon got a good report from the Doctor yesterday! PRAISE GOD! Sharon is using Homopathic’s to treat her condition. Sharon and I both use Dr. Yovnne here in Albuquerque, people come from all over the World to see her and seek treatment from cancer, MS, etc……We have been blessed with excellent results in the past. I believe that Sharon is healed!GOD grows everything we need to be well. I have stopped sugar and lost 14 pounds in 3 weeks. Please stop the use of sugar, it is a killer. I saw a young man smoking last night, Oh LORD he does not know what he does! Watch your food intake also. We are called to take care of our temple’s, please do.

Buffy started on a low dose of chemo. We are blessed to be with great Doctor’s, Dr. Kelly and Dr. Wood from the Cancer Center here in Albuquerque and our longtime Vet Dr. Steve Hopkins. Dr. Kelly is an oncologist and we also work with Dr. Yvonne who, as I said is a Doctor of Homeopathic’s. What is such a blessing here is that all the Doctor’s are working together on Buffy’s treatment a mixture of modern day medicine and homeopathic’s. These Doctor’s have been such a blessing to us and Buffy! We have the ultimate Physician with us, Our LORD! The LORD has shown me that Buffy is healed. We are doing preventive treatment for her at this point, so the cancer does not return.

I pray that in our world that there is more of a marriage between the modern day medical world and homeopathic’s and using more and more of what God has planted here for us.

This is the road the LORD is taking us down as we pray and seek guidance from HIM daily for Sharon and Buffy, and in anything we do here at the Moede Ranch and Radio ranch, seeking the LORD’s Will in all things.

We are so thankful for the people the LORD has surrounded us with! PRAISE GOD!

Thank you all for your prayers for Sharon and Buffy, Whenever you ask me about these two girls of mine it tickles my heart!

KKIM Program Director Bobby Jones received word late Friday afternoon that his Mother-in-Law, Irene passed away suddenly at her home in Boston. Let us pray on this. Please pray for the family during this time. Irene was just in her 50’s. This comes as a shock to the family. I can relate to this as my Dad, Wally passed on of a sudden heart attack at 64 the week he retied, Easter morning, 20 years ago. The shock and grief is tremendous. Please pray for Bobby and family.

I awoke Sunday morning and the Lord showed me this: Enjoy this day you have no promise of another day on earth.

WOW! The Lord showed me that!

Now I want you to come to the Hospital with me for a bit..I want you to take yourself out of where you are at and go into the critical care unit with me…….

Yesterday was a very moving day for me. I spent the afternoon at Kindred Hospital. I met Scott Chaney who has been ill for 22 months. I met his lovely wife Marcie and son Steven..I think Steven is about 11 years old. Scott is on a ventilator at this time, he is not even 45 years old….. I prayed over him and anointed him with oil. He moved when I prayed and anointed him with oil. He is not talking or moving at this time. I also prayed over his wife Marcie who has been at his side all this time, and over their good friend Michelle, and of course son Steven. This is a true love story, as Marcie has had to fight to get her husband treatment and is still doing so. Marcie was sharing with me yesterday that the Doctor had stopped treatment. The Doctor seems to think he has a very advanced form of MS. In the past Scott has been treated for Brain cancer. Marcie has been pushing for treatment and late yesterday she text me that after I left the nurse came in and said they are going to start steroid treatment today! We are praising GOD for that, as that has helped Scott in the past. During this 22 months at times Scott has been very alert, but not right now. Please pray. Can you imagine what Marcie and son Steven are going through? We continue to pray for complete healing. Marcie is driven by what God is showing her to do for her husband. I am so blessed by her determination.

I also met with Angie whose 18 year old daughter, Stacie was in an ATV wreck 36 days ago and is in a coma. Stacie also has other injures. I prayed over Stacie and anointed her with oil and prayed over her Mother. Angie was told that Stacie only would live for 2 hours after the accident and yesterday was day 36.
When I looked at Stacie I pictured one of my own children……but God told me she is one of yours…..we are all the Body of Christ…….When I prayed over Angie I thanked her for standing in the gap for her child, that we need more Mothers like her and Marcie……two strong Women of God that I met yesterday, that are driven by what God is showing them. Let us pray for Stacie and Angie.

I first went to Kaseman Hospital thinking Scott was there, but there is no wrong in going where the Lord was telling me to go…so I met Donald a nurse in the hospice unit……he was wiped out……he said he meets people with cancer in the 9th hour…..he said we don’t get to know our patients that well because they die soon. I spent time talking a praying with Donald. I prayed over all the nurses at Kindred, let us pray for Nurses this day and all days, they are one of our best friends and have to work under such stress, they have to get between the Doctor’s and Patients and families. My Sharon is a nurse and it takes such a special person of God to be one. Let us pray for Donald.

I was once told by a wise man that it is good to visit a Hospital or nursing home at least once a month. You will learn much. This same man told me also to go to one funeral a month.

What did I learn yesterday? That as we are with our families and eating and having fun…….or going to work…….or just going about a normal day…….having a good time with friends…….there are so many people like Scott and Stacie who would like to get up and walk out of the hospital and resume their lives.

There are many people like Marcie and her little boy, and yes he is just a child that would love to see their Husband, Dad come home healthy. Angie would love to have her 18 year old daughter at the dinner table telling her about her day.

The Lord showed me yesterday when I awoke, do not take this day for granted.

Come now, you who say, “Today or tomorrow we will go to such and such a city, spend a year there, buy and sell, and make a profit”
whereas you do not know what will happen tomorrow. For what is your life? It is just a vapor that appears for a little time and then vanishes away.
Instead you ought to say. “If the Lord wills, we shall live and do this or that.”
But now you boast in your arrogance. All such boasting is evil.
Therefore, to him who knows to do good and does not do it, to him it is sin.

James 4: 13-17

I read that scripture and I think of all the time we waste in not serving our Lord and fill ourselves full of self-wants. What do we do with our time and resources?

I will close today and just say that when I have been Preaching and Teaching on a subject, I then am challenged by it. We have talking a lot about healing, so then I am struck by Sharon’s illness and Buffy’s cancer. I was praying to the Lord about this yesterday, it happens all the time when I pour the gas on, it’s enough to stop some from Preaching and Teaching. It is making me wiser in our Lord, all this is making more sensitive to people and God’s ways. Many things, too many to mention, but sensitive to the Holy Spirit and what God is trying to show me. Letting me know there are many people that need love and care. The love and care of Jesus Christ. That we must go beyond our boundaries and stretch ourselves in the name of Jesus Christ. We must have great patients, we must wait upon the Lord. We must put ourselves in spots that we would think we would never be. (like ministering at the Hospital, or going to Asheville, NC to minister to 500 Witches)

Dad always told me that many people are in a hurry to their own funeral! I think we all need to slow down each day and be in touch with God, really, really in touch with God so much you can tell me what flavor of chewing gum God chews! LOL LOL

If we are not in touch with God, how do we know what to do each hour of our day?

To close this morning, last week we talked about the movie Courageous on NM News and Views .I also had a conversation off air with Dr. Joe Fawcett a long-time friend of KKIM and the CUP about Christian movies and a new adventure Dr. Joe is involved in.
