Oh My I feel the strong presence of the Holy Spirit this morning…stronger than ever!!! God is real…Do you know that? God is with you and yours! I wonder how many people really think God is real in their lives today?

I love what Kyle Martin said on KKIM yesterday…who are you serving? Are you serving God? Or are you serving Satan? Who is your Father? God or Satan? I Praise God for the boldness of this young Billy Graham…..Are we living a life for God or Satan?

Have you dived in head first in your relationship with our Lord?

I have to tell you God is more REAL in my life than ever before! PRAISE GOD and I want to continue to share that with the World! God has shown me that many sort of believe to their own comfort level but there are many that need to dive in head first in their belief of God Almighty!

I am just an old fuddy duddy who loves my Lord and do my best to express it to others. I have joked many times that my prayer is that all will get so close to Jesus that you could tell me what flavor of chewing gum he chews!!!!! LOL LOL!

So close that you hear HIM every moment of your day..I am here to tell you this morning that I do!!!!! HE guides my every step and every word. When I slip it is because I am not listening to the Lord! And yes, I do slip!

I made new friends in Asheville when I was there for the Revival. One of those is Dear Kathy and she sent me this scripture today……..Our walk is not always easy…..but we find comfort in our LORD and HIS Word………..Now do not hurry away from this Word. The LORD has shown me that we hurry to much when reading his Word, or we say Oh, I have read that before……Let this Word sink into your heart, soul, and mind……….

Psalm 18

I enjoyed your thoughts on marriage. I agree with everything you wrote and would add this.

Then Isaac brought her into his mother Sarah’s tent, and he took Rebekah, and she became his wife, and he loved her; thus Isaac was comforted after his mother’s death. (Genesis 24:67)

Notice the order of things in a marriage. First the marriage and then love. Too many people believe the reverse to be true and base their marriages on transient emotions rather than true commitment. 1 Cor 13 teaches us that love is a choice rather than an emotion. The bible calls husbands to love their wives as Christ loved the church. Notice that the command is given after the wedding has taken place.

I believe that Christians are called to a higher love. A love that sacrifices self for the benefit of others.

Now let me share another word with you from Ray, another new friend I made in Asheville during the Revival. Ray is from Dallas and traveled with Kyle Martin to take part in the Revival. This is an excellent write up!!!!! PRAISE GOD!

We can walk around in bondage because of our thinking even though Christ has set us free. The Emancipation Proclamation was issued by President Lincoln, which freed all slaves. News of the Proclamation did not reach Texas until Union soldiers marched into Galveston 2 years after it was decreed. For 2 years free men walked around as if they were still slaves even though they were free. We can live under bondage to the law or our sin nature even though Christ has already set us free because He put to death both at Calvary when He died for our sins.

Romans 7:4 Therefore, my brethren, you also were made to die to the Law through the body of Christ, so that you might be joined to another, to Him who was raised from the dead, in order that we might bear fruit for God.

Romans 6:6 knowing this, that our old self was crucified with Him, in order that our body of sin might be done away with, so that we would no longer be slaves to sin; 7 for he who has died is freed from sin.

Galatians 5:1 It was for freedom that Christ set us free; therefore keep standing firm and do not be subject again to a yoke of slavery. (In context, this verse is addressing saved believers who were getting back under the law by trying to be made right with God based on their ability to keep the law rather than resting in the completed work of Christ on their behalf.)

I was saying I guess I am an old fuddy duddy and that term, BLACK FRIDAY, really bothers my Spirit..darkness, Black Friday, associated with the Reason for the Season, which is Jesus…… as our new friend Alan said last night…….yes I know Black means merchants are in the profit mode, but calling it Black Friday???!!! Come on now is that the best this society can do??? Black represents the darkness, the greed of America, getting off the focus of the birth of Christ! It’s the little things that crumble the foundation of a society…….

Everyone — yes EVERYONE gets their hair

cut. How about gift certificates

from your local American hair

salon or barber?

Gym membership? It’s appropriate for all

ages who are thinking about some

health

improvement.

Who wouldn’t appreciate getting their car

detailed? Small, American owned

detail shops and car washes

would love to sell you a gift certificate or a

book of gift

certificates.

Are you one of those extravagant givers who

think nothing of plonking down

the Benjamines on a Chinese made

flat-screen? Perhaps that grateful gift

receiver would like his

driveway sealed, or lawn mowed for the summer, or

driveway

plowed all winter, or games at the local golf course.

There

are a bazillion owner-run restaurants — all offering

gift

certificates. And, if your intended isn’t the fancy eatery

sort, what about

a half dozen breakfasts at the local breakfast

joint. Remember, folks this

isn’t about big Nat ional chains —

this is about supporting your home town

Americans with their

financial lives on the line to keep their doors open.

How

many people couldn’t use an oil change for their car, truck

or

motorcycle, done at a shop run by the American working

guy?

Thinking about a heartfelt gift for mom? Mom would LOVE

the services of a

local cleaning lady for a

day.

My computer could use a tune-up, and I KNOW I can find

some young guy who is

struggling to get his repair business up

and running.

OK, you were looking for something more

personal Local crafts people spin

their own wool and knit them

into scarves. They make jewelry, and pottery

and beautiful

wooden boxes.

Plan your holiday outings at local, owner

operated restaurants and leave

your server a nice tip. And, how

about going out to see a play or ballet at

your hometown

theatre.

Musicians need love too, so find a venue showcasing

local bands.

Honestly , people, do you REALLY need to buy

another ten thousand Chinese

lights for the house? When you buy

a five dollar string of light, about

fifty cents stays in the

community. If you have those kinds of bucks to

burn, leave the

mailman, trash guy or babysitter a nice BIG tip.

You see,

Christmas is no longer about draining American pockets so

that

China can build another glittering city. Christmas is now

about caring about

US, encouraging American small businesses to

keep plugging away to follow

their dreams. And, when we care

about other Americans, we care about our

communities, and the

benefits come back to us in ways we couldn’t imagine.

THIS is

the new American Christmas tradition.

With the Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays just around the corner, some of the nation’s largest retailers are looking to start a new tradition.
Several large chains — including Target, Macy’s, Best Buy and Kohl’s — have announced plans to start Black Friday deals at midnight on Thanksgiving. Wal-Mart will open its doors at 10 p.m. Thanksgiving night.
Critics worry the move will cause people to cut family time short to get an early start on Christmas shopping.
“I personally think that Thanksgiving Day should be about family and celebrating, being thankful for what we already have and not what we can gain by more shopping,” one person said.

Another concern is that the retailers taking part in the early Black Friday launch are also some of America’s largest employers, meaning many of those employees will be required to work on Thanksgiving.
“I’m going to have to get some sleep and I’ll probably go to bed at 2 p.m. and miss my family’s Thanksgiving dinner completely,” Target employee Anthony Hardwick said.

Hardwick started a campaign on Change.org asking Target to remain closed on Thanksgiving. So far, more than 7,000 people have signed his petition.

Hardwick hopes consumers across the country will back him, but retail analysts say they’re not so sure that will be the case.

They say if this year’s early deals are a hit, more stores will follow suit.
“If somebody is opening at midnight, well, look for somebody to now say ‘We’re going to open at 11 p.m.’ predicted Marshal Cohen, chief retail analyst for NPD Group.
“And look for someone else to say ‘Well, we’re just not going to close on Thanksgiving day at all,” he added.

Sears and J.C. Penney say they will not open on Thanksgiving Day. They plan to stick to their normal Black Friday schedule to allow their workers to be with their families.

Saw John in Asheville Friday and Saturday he and I talked 2 1/2 hours. Very important conversation for me. We talked briefly about you and I learned you are a very important vessel in the kingdom in New Mexico. WOW. Thank you Holy Spirit for allowing me to connect with the brother.

I wanted to tell you that 15 years ago me and another woman came and ministered in a Baptist Church in either Santa Fe or Albuquerque to a group of women very hungry to learn more about the Holy Spirit.
You are the fruit of that visit. We sowed seeds and you are the firstfruit in that area!!!!!!!!!!!! Praise the Lord. I release the firstfruit blessing over you. Have a blessed day my new friend and brother. Call forth those things that are NOT AS THOUGH they WERE. I declare your enemies are His and they have become His footstool.

Your Healthy-Hair Diet

When it comes to foods for healthy hair and beauty, variety is the best way to go. An overall balanced diet of lean proteins, fruits, and vegetables, whole grains, legumes, fatty fish like salmon and low-fat dairy will help keep hair healthy.

If you’re tempted to drop pounds fast with the latest fad diet, it could leave you with less-than-healthy hair – along with a growling stomach. Low-calorie diets are often low in some of the most important nutrients for healthy hair, including omega-3 fatty acids, zinc, and vitamin A. In addition to stunting hair growth and leading to dullness, super-low calorie plans may even cause hair loss.

Crash diets can affect the hair cycle. Losing a significant amount of weight in a short amount of time can affect that normal hair rhythm. Two to three months later, you might notice a significant increase in shedding.

Here’s some key Healthy-Hair Eating Tips:
Eat more salmon. Omega-3 rich foods like salmon and sardines help seal in shine. Pharmaceutical grade distilled fish oil or DHA supplements will work, too. I strongly recommend Fish Oil capsules! Take at least two capsules per day.

Be a bran lover. Bran is rich in vitamin B, which may slow hair loss and promote hair growth. Other B-rich victuals include beans, peas, carrots, cauliflower, soybeans, nuts, and eggs.

Say yes to avocados. Avocados and avocado oil may prevent some funky stuff that kills hair follicles — dihydrotestosterone (DHT) — from getting where it needs to go.

Say no to animal fat — and red meat — unless it’s the non-genetically modified organically grown grain feed that cattle are being raised on in an organic pasture — if you’re losing hair. They can lead to more DHT production and hair-follicle damage.
Stock up on green tea. Brew a strong pot, cool it, and then give your head a rinse to help kill off dandruff-causing fungus. Incidentally, if you drink green tea, the caffeine in it may help slow balding, too.

Dark Green Veggies. Spinach, like broccoli and Swiss chard, is an excellent source of vitamins A and C, which your body needs to produce sebum. The oily substance, secreted by your hair follicles, is the body’s natural hair conditioner.

Beans – Not only do they provide plentiful protein to promote hair growth, but ample iron, zinc, and biotin. While rare, biotin deficiencies can result in brittle hair.

Nuts -Brazil nuts are one of nature’s best sources of selenium, an important mineral for the health of your scalp. Walnuts contain alpha-linolenic acid, an omega-3 fatty acid that may help condition your hair. They are also a terrific source of zinc, as are cashews, pecans, and almonds. A zinc deficiency can lead to hair shedding, so make sure nuts are a regular on your healthy hair menu.

Poultry – Without adequate protein or with low-quality protein, one can experience weak brittle hair, while a profound protein deficiency can result in loss of hair color. Poultry also provides iron with a high degree of bioavailability, meaning your body can easily reap its benefits.

Eggs – It doesn’t matter whether you like your eggs scrambled, fried, or over easy. However they’re served up, eggs are one of the best protein sources you can find. They also contain biotin and vitamin B-12, which are important beauty nutrients.

Low-Fat Dairy Products – Low-fat dairy products like skim milk and yogurt are great sources of calcium, an important mineral for hair growth. They also contain whey and casein, two high-quality protein sources. For some healthy hair foods “to-go,” try throwing a yogurt or cottage cheese cup in your bag when you head out in the morning to snack on later in the day. You can even boost their hair benefits by stirring in a couple of tablespoons of ground flaxseeds or walnuts for omega-3 fatty acids and zinc.

Carrots – Carrots are an excellent source of vitamin A, which promotes a healthy scalp along with good vision. Since a healthy scalp is essential for a shiny, well-conditioned head of hair, you’d be wise to include carrots in your diet as snacks or toppings on your salad.

I am so filled with the Holy Spirit that I may BURST!!!!!!!

At the Moede Ranch we have been without Internet for over 2 days, but is back on now. It has been going in and out. Comcast was here last night, ut then it was down when I got up this morning.

I was so blessed to be the Pastor to Marry Grace and Peter Friday afternoon at the Luna Mansion in Los Lunas, The HOLY SPIRIT moved mightily during this wedding!!!!!! Here is a note from Grace……..

I stated last week that we have become a society that does not hear the cry of a child, if we did there would be no more abortion. We also have gone off the road on marriage……..

Marriage is more significant that you may have thought.

Marriage was designed by God and is defined by God.

Marriage is at the center of God’s purpose for mankind.

Marriage is to Mirror God’s image

So God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them. Genesis 1:27

That is the Word of God, plain and simple.

God joined a man and a women together so that together they would mirror His image.

He called this union marriage.

Their oneness reflects the character and unity of God (Matt 19: 4-6, John 17: 22-23

Their oneness is a living picture of this intimate relationship between Jesus Christ and His followers (Ephesians 5: 22-33)

Their oneness is expressed within a lifetime commitment to one another.

Couples who mirror God’s image experience oneness in their marriage.

Companionship in marriage is God’s provision to replace isolation and meet our deep longing for a close, intimate relationship.

God designed marriage to be the first system of interdependent relationships.

God designed the marriage relationship as the priority relationship of the family.

God designed Marriage, God Designed Marriage, not man……It’s is Holy, Holy, Holy

I shared these thoughts at the Wedding and again yesterday when I was standing in for Pastor Juan at his church the Lighthouse in Chamisal, NM.

This quote by Torrey fit’s so well as to what man has done with abortion and marriage.

Another point I made at the service in Chamisal at the Lighthouse Church yesterday was the importance of the Body of Christ, We prayed over people yesterday, that needed prayer and healing the whole congregation prayed over these folks.

As I travel all over rural New Mexico I see small town’s in decline…….Businesses vacated, homes vacated, BUT it is the Church in these communities that keep the fires for Christ burning. The Church helps keep the people together, gives them a place to come together as a community! Communities may be declining, but the Church is to stand strong. Another rallying point is the local Fire Dept’s! These volunteers serve their communities in such a Godly way. I have found this so true in the last two weeks in Tucumcari, another declining Town, with funeral of Scott Cheney and how the local Fire Dept showed up to support this family and yesterday in Chamisal how the people gathered over those hurting and in need of prayer.

People coming together to Worship and Praise our Lord and at the same time answering the call to serve others in need. These folks just don’t play Church they GET IT! They help those in need. They have the heart of a Servant.

But he that is greatest among you shall be your servant. Matthew 23:11

I am seeing right before my eye’s when I go out and Preach to serve our Lord real people coming together for Christ, they are hungry for our Lord, They are Hungry to serve.

There is something very special about rural New Mexico.

It seems the Lord has made me a Circuit Preacher, just get on my horse and go where he call’s me!

I was asked to come to Taos and Preach after yesterdays sermon….I will go wherever the Lord leads me, If you would like me to come and Preach, I would be so happy to do so.

Let us get down to God’s business!!! Let us get our hands dirty for Jesus Christ. Let us gather together as God’s Family.

Let us be on God’s time………not our’s…………..that is what I am learning!

The other great part of getting out and meeting people is that I meet so many KKIM listeners!!! The Northern part of the state so much loves KKIM and NM news and Views. PRAISE GOD!

Also, as a matter of interest, I got a call from a lady in Santa Fe, who has friends in Taos who told her to listen to Nuggets of Truth because the guy named “Don” on the program really is “on fire” for the Lord. They also told her they pray for me every day. Isn’t that great? God bless.
