Last night I made a hospital visit to the Heart Hospital here in the Duke City. Please pray for Florentina Carillo. She is the Mother of Charles Carillo who is a KKIM Ministry sponsor and Owner of C and A Transmission. I had a wonderful time of prayer with Florentina, she opened her eye’s as I prayed for her and anointed her with oil….a tremendous moving of the Holy Spirit occurred. Much peace in the room. PRAISE GOD!!!!

I STAND IN AWE BEFORE GOD

We are so Excited to Have Hank the Bible Answer Man back on KKIM after more than a 2 year absence, weeknights at 9pm. Now we are just as excited in our LORD to have Ray Sturdivant join us starting in Jan. with a 4 minute devotional program at 7:35am following Nuggets of Truth with Don Kimbro. The Lord brought Ray and I together in Asheville, NC. A divine appointment. This man has a gift of writing and speaking from a deep Biblical perspective. I am so thankful for Ray. I am reading his writing now on the Last days. The Lord told me to put Ray on the radio and now here is he getting ready to start. I see him doing a 25 min. program in the future, he has so much Godly wisdom to offer us all.

I’m in AWE of rocks, flowers, birds……….I’m in AWE of the great report we had yesterday on Buffy’s blood counts. I’m in AWE that I got our of bed this morning for another day of service.

Part of the problem in the World is that many are not in AWE of GOD. That includes Church going people. We take so much for granted. There is the old song I used to play back in the late 70’s on KGCX in Sindey, Montana by Mac Davis, Stop and Smell the Roses…….Well, today stop and Smell what our AWESOME GOD has created!

Be still for I am God

The other thing I want to point out is the Holy Spirit came upon Mary in a most powerful way! The GOOD NEWS here is also the Holy Spirit can come upon you in a most powerful way also! Oh, my friends I pray that you call upon the Holy Spirit this day to consume you in a mighty way! You will be in AWE!

We have this PRAISE REPORT….Billy Graham is going home for Christmas…..

Pulmonologist Mark Hellrich, M.D., physician for the 93-year-old evangelist, said he has made good clinical progress in combating the pneumonia in his steady response to antibiotics, first intravenously and then following his improvement, transitioning to oral medication. His program of physical therapy also advanced daily as he demonstrated increased strength and mobility.

This recent hospital stay also gave Mr. Graham’s personal doctors an opportunity to work with hospital colleagues to complete routine tests and studies that were already scheduled for Nov. 30. Mr. Graham’s home staff and physicians were also able to refine his ongoing plan of care for age-related medical challenges after reviewing the latest test and study results.

“I am grateful for the many thoughts and prayers expressed by individuals across the country and around the world during my stay at Mission Hospital,” Mr. Graham said upon discharge. “I also appreciated the wonderful treatment I received here from such caring doctors and nurses, and feel I have made some new friends. But I am especially looking forward to seeing my home decorated for Christmas and spending the holidays with members of my family.”

Mr. Graham’s staff confirmed he will continue with physical therapy at home, with the goal of returning to normal activities in the coming weeks. This includes resuming his next writing project, summarizing the message he has proclaimed for more than 60 years, incorporating thoughts and discussions on that topic that occurred during his hospitalization.

“We are gratified that he has had a good response to treatment and we’re committed to good home care to continue his improvement,” said Mr. Graham’s personal physician, Lucian Rice, MD.

Last night on New Mexico News and Views we talked about how the World is reacting to Christian Football player Tim Tebow. This young man just speaks from his Godly heart and is not shy about showing and telling everyone about his love for our LORD! He’s doing what we should all do! He is a tremendous witness to all of us! Paul Holt was with me and we just encourage all of us to continue to be Salt and Light and be a witness to all. Here are a couple of writings I want to share with you on Tim Tebow….Even if your not a Football fan like myself you will really enjoy this story…..

When Pam Tebow was counseled to abort her baby to save her own life, the doctor referred to him as a “mass of fetal tissue.”
“(M)aybe she just called me that to toughen us up for the names I would be called the first time I played at LSU,” Tim Tebow, who became the Heisman Trophy-winning quarterback for the University of Florida, writes in his 2011 book “Through My Eyes.”
Now that Tebow is a Denver Bronco and under intense scrutiny in the role of starting quarterback, his congenital instinct to push through adversity and ignore the naysayers is again at work.
“Polarizing” is the sports commentariat’s typical term to describe national reaction to Tebow since he went pro. The negativity flows in part from his initially rocky performance.
But much more seems to be reaction to Tebow’s Christian faith. Critics want him to keep it to himself, a pattern that is increasingly common in American public life.
Of course, there’s already plenty of God-talk in professional football. (Type “Green Bay Packers” into Twitter and see how many players give God a shout out in their profiles.)
Talking is one thing. Walking the talk is another. That’s where Tim Tebow stands out.
Born in the Philippines to missionary parents, he not only is outspoken about his faith, referencing it frequently in word and symbol — such as biblical citations in his eye black. He’s also as intense about living out his faith as he is about playing football — and winning.
And he’s done a good bit of winning.
For a 24-year-old who’s been, in his words, “the center of so much spilled ink” since his high school days (before graduating he was the subject of a documentary), it’s amazing he’s full of anything other than himself. Instead, he brims over about his faith, family, football and teammates.
While the attention hasn’t gone to his head, it does seem to have gone to his heart.
Tebow takes seriously the burden of his “platform” — a word he uses frequently in his book to refer to his opportunity to influence others for good.
Such disciplined, purposeful stewardship of a leadership role is rare in anyone, but particularly someone so young in a field rampant with narcissism and bad behavior.
Even for observers who consider the eye-black evangelism corny or juvenile, it’s simply no comparison to the “youthful indiscretions” that haunt so many public figures for years.
And even through jaded eyes, the trademark Tebow kneel to give gratitude to God after a great play hardly can be as obnoxious as others’ on-field (not to mention off-field) antics and outbursts.
“Tebow is just a guy with the good sense to say thanks. Instead of taking his cue, we mock his faith. And that says more about us, none of it good,” writes Jennifer Floyd Engel at Fox Sports.
What the mockery of Tebow’s faith “has revealed about religious discourse in America is ugly,” she says. “And this defense that Tebow invites such scrutiny with his willingness to publicly live as he privately believes calls into question what exactly it is we value.”
Public expression of religious belief is an essential aspect of what has been called America’s first freedom. This nation is founded on the principle that religious individuals and institutions would have the freedom to live out their faith.

But in recent decades, policy and social pressures have suggested that faith should be pushed into a private sphere.
Tim Tebow runs right through that line, surprising its defenders — just like he did to the New York Jets on his game-winning, fourth-quarter touchdown.
Did Tebow “ever sit back, smile and admire” the events of November, a reporter asked on the last day of the month? With Tebow starting, the Broncos jumped to 7-5 from a losing record.
“Well, I sit back and smile a lot just ‘cuz … I smile,” Tebow responded, with his reflexive grin. “I continually try to smile a lot.”
It’s true. He’s kept smiling while showing remarkable magnanimity toward critics.
One, former Broncos QB Jake Plummer, suggested toning down the religious rhetoric. Tebow responded that if it’s a good idea for a husband to tell his wife he loves her as often as he can, then wouldn’t it be appropriate to do the same when it comes to the most important relationship in his own life?
“If people want to bash me for that, that’s OK. It really won’t bother me. At least they know what I believe.”
Americans express appropriate indignation when a public figure is discovered to lack integrity. How ironic that one who shows consistent virtue should meet with consternation.

Greetings,

1. For those of you who have not heard about this, there is quite a
dramatic and unfolding story occurring in the NFL (Nation Football
League). Long story short, a rookie quarterback by the name of Tim Tebow,
who plays for the Denver Broncos, is getting a lot of publicity along with
a lot of heat and criticism.

At the beginning of the season he was sitting on the bench as a rookie
quarterback. A lot of the pundits did not think he even had a chance to
make it in the NFL, much less ever get a chance to start as an NFL
quarterback.

But when Denver went 1-4 in their first 5 starts, many of the Denver
Bronco fans started to shout for Tebow to replace the starting
quarterback. Management heard their cries and then put him in as the
starting quarterback.

Since he has been the starting quarterback, Denver has now won 5 in a row
and is now 7-5 and at the top of the division. But what has so many people
up in arms is his constant public display of his faith in his Lord and
Savior Jesus Christ. He is constantly giving all of the praise to Jesus
Christ for what has been occurring, along with kneeling down in the middle
of games on one knee with his head bowed.

In one game in particular, his team was getting ready to kick the winning
field goal to win the game. As their kicker was getting ready to do this,
the camera panned over and caught Tim down on one knee, bowing his head
and praying to the Lord. He was not up and watching the kicker like
everyone else was doing.

Some of the other players on other teams have mocked him, along with some
who are anti-Christian in the media really ripping on him for doing it.
They feel he should be keeping a more low profile regarding his faith in
Jesus.

For those of you who are football fans, you know quarteback Kurt Warner of
the St. Louis Rams had the same thing happen to him when they won the
Superbowl years ago.

When that did occur, we wrote up a special article for what was occurring
to him. The title of this article is “Should Professional Athletes Be
Glorifying the Lord on Their Public Platforms?” This article is at the
bottom of the Current Issues Section of our site.

For the record, we believe that both Kurt Warner and Tim Tebow are doing
the right thing if they want to go this extra length in giving the Lord
this kind of attention on their public platforms. We believe that not only
is God pleased with them doing this, but that He actually wants them to do
this for Him. We feel the Lord has orchestrated something very special
with our Christian athletes, especially the ones who make it into the pro
ranks.

Many of the sports announcers cannot believe what has happened to Denver
since Tim has taken over reigns as the starting quarterback. He has won
several of the games in the last minute, with dramatic last-minute winning
drives. One announcer on ESPN said this was getting too weird, as this was
happening week after week. He said he has never seen anything like it and
also made the comment that it was almost “supernatural.” As Christians, we
already know where the “supernatural” is coming from. This boy seems to be
anointed by the Lord!

If Tim ends up taking his team to the Superbowl, it will go down as one of
the greatest sports stories of all time – a rookie quarterback coming off
the bench with a team that was already down and out with a 1-4 record and
then turning it around as he did. The fans have now gone crazy in Denver
and many of his teammates now believe in him.

One of the announcers said Tim has been doing this since he has been in
high school. They say he seems to have some sort of knack to win games
even though he is not the best pure passer in the game.

Since this story has caught a lot of media attention, we thought we would
send this newsletter out with a link to our own article on this, as again,
we feel the Lord is really wanting these Christian professional athletes
to be giving Him the praise, honor, and glory for what they are
accomplishing on their atheltic fields, as He is the main reason they are
producing this kind of good fruit in the first place.

A Baby’s Hug

We were the only family with children in the restaurant.
I sat Erik in a high chair and noticed everyone was quietly sitting and
talking. Suddenly, Erik squealed with glee and said, ‘Hi.’ He pounded his
fat baby hands on the high chair tray. His eyes were crinkled in laughter and
his mouth was bared in a toothless grin, as he wriggled and giggled with
merriment.

I looked around and saw the source of his merriment.
It was a man whose pants were baggy with a zipper at half-mast and his toes
poked out of would-be shoes.
His shirt was dirty and his hair was uncombed and unwashed. His whiskers
were too short to be called a beard and his nose was so varicose it looked like a
road map. We were too far from him to smell, but I was sure he smelled. His
hands waved and flapped on loose wrists. ‘Hi there, baby; hi there, big boy.
I see ya, buster,’ the man said to Erik.

My husband and I exchanged looks, ‘What do we do?’

Erik continued to laugh and answer, ‘Hi.’

Everyone in the restaurant noticed and looked at us and then at the man. The
old geezer was creating a nuisance with my beautiful baby.
Our meal came and the man began shouting from across the room, ‘Do ya patty cake?
Do you know peek-a-boo? Hey, look, he knows peek- a-boo.’

Nobody thought the old man was cute. He was obviously drunk. My husband and
I were embarrassed. We ate in silence; all except for Erik, who was running
through his repertoire for the admiring skid-row bum, who in turn,
reciprocated with his cute comments.

We finally got through the meal and headed for the door. My husband went to
pay the check and told me to meet him in the parking lot. The old man sat
poised between me and the door. ‘Lord, just let me out of here before he
speaks to me or Erik,’ I prayed. As I drew closer to the man, I turned my
back trying to sidestep him and avoid any air he might be breathing. As I did,
Erik leaned over my arm, reaching with both arms in a baby’s ‘pick-me-up’
position. Before I could stop him, Erik had propelled himself from my arms to the man.

Suddenly a very old smelly man and a very young baby consummated their love
and kinship. Erik in an act of total trust, love, and submission laid his tiny
head upon the man’s ragged shoulder. The man’s eyes closed, and I saw tears
hover beneath his lashes. His aged hands full of grime, pain, and hard labor,
cradled my baby’s bottom and stroked his back. No two beings have ever loved
so deeply for so short a time.

I stood awestruck. The old man rocked and cradled Erik in his arms and his
eyes opened and set squarely on mine. He said in a firm commanding voice,
‘You take care of this baby.’

Somehow I managed, ‘I will,’ from a throat that contained a stone.

He pried Erik from his chest, lovingly and longingly, as though he were in
pain. I received my baby, and the man said, ‘God bless you, ma’am, you’ve
given me my Christmas gift.’

I said nothing more than a muttered thanks.

With Erik in my arms, I ran for the car. My husband was wondering why I was
crying and holding Erik so tightly, and why I was saying, ‘My God, my God,
forgive me.’

I had just witnessed Christ’s love shown through the innocence of a tiny
child who saw no sin, who made no judgment; a child who saw a soul, and a mother
who saw a suit of clothes.

I was a Christian who was blind, holding a child who was not. I felt it was
God asking, ‘Are you willing to share your son for a moment?’ when He shared
His for all eternity.

The ragged old man, unwittingly, had reminded me,
‘To enter the Kingdom of God , we must become as little children.’

If this has blessed you, please bless others by sending it on. Sometimes, it
takes a child to remind us of what is really important. Remember who we are,
where we came from and, most importantly, how we feel about others.

The clothes on our back or the car that we drive or the house that we live in
does not define us at all; it is how you treat your fellow man that identifies
who you are.

PRAISE GOD! let us sing and dance to our LORD! Thank you Celina!

Sometimes we hesitate to do good because we don’t see any results. But if we can maintain a heavenly perspective, we understand that we don’t often see the good that results from our efforts. If we truly believe that Christ has won the ultimate victory, it must affect the way we live right now. Don’t let discouragement over an apparent lack of visible results keep you from working.
Do the good that you can do. Your work will have eternal results!
