The following brought me to tears……….

As a chubby little Sunday schooler, I used to sit in the musty basement classroom of the Church on Main Street. I sang with my friends,

“O be careful little feet where you go…..

little ears what you hear……….

little eyes what you see……

little hands what you do.”

I smiled as I sang, but had no idea how much of my life on this earth would be about wrestling over what my ears would hear, where my feet would go, what my hands would do.

The words of Greg Swinney in the Feb 19th issue of “The Lookout”

Oh my! How touching and profound…..I wish I would not have walked some places I have walked……..

I encourage us all to sing those word’s of Greg this day and all days……..Child like faith……..too much of the Church has gotten to big for their britches………

Greg said in his write up, “How might things be different if we took seriously the call to be salt and light?”

I thank pastor Leonard Navarre for subscribing to “The Lookout” for me! It is a great publication. I also thank Kevin at Bibles Plus in Albuquerque for his gift of Teaching materials! I also thank Wannel Pate for her gift of oil, you see I am out of anointing oil……..I gave the last of my oil so that Denna could be anointed this morning before her medical procedure.

I thank the Lord for James 5……..The LORD is leading people to me and me to them to anoint with oil……..Thank YOU LORD! For God’s Glory Alone………let us be Salt and Light of the World.

By the way if you can donate oil, teaching supplies, Bibles, videos, we sure could use your help and if you would consider a financial gift we would appreciate it…….we use these materials to minister to many, carrying our the Great Commission being Salt and Light, we try to practice what we Preach! I want to share a PRAISE note with you! Buffy who has been under going cancer treatment is coming off CHEMO! She has undergone just about 4 months of Chemo and is doing very well! THANKYOU LORD! Buffy has been a member of our family for almost 12 years.she has given the Moede’s much…….she was right by Sharon’s side 6 years ago when Sharon was very ill. I have always said we have two nurses in the house, Sharon and Buffy! Buffy helped Reno recover from two heart worm treatments. What a God we have, look at HIS creation’s today very clearly!

I had a Pastor call me yesterday for prayer…….I was so blessed by his call………I want us all to prayer for Pastor’s. Many are getting beat up emotionally. This Pastor has the heart of a Superman of JESUS! He has been told by some in his Church if he reads too much of the Bible they will leave, and some have! This Pastor would read Chapter’s or part of Chapter’s during service, now it has been cut down to verses! I encouraged the Pastor to READ CHAPTERS!!! KEEP BEING SALT AND LIGHT, GOD HAS ANOINTED YOU TO BE THE SHEPHERD GO FORTH AND DECLARE HIS WORD AND IF SOME WALK THEY WALK!! AMEN! And he will read Chapters in the love of Jesus Christ!

More later on this paradigm shift that continues in the American Church and in our society overall………wait to you read the paradigm shift going on at West Point! That story is in your CUP as you drink……….

Too much of what I am hearing from Pastor’s and from lay people disturbs me greatly, I always ask them, where is God in what you are doing?

We must pray for the American Church!

I got a kick out of this devotional by Max Lucado, as I finally have been hit by the sickness that has been going around……..I have that bad cold………I wanted to go see little Dom at the Hospital but that will have to wait……..anyhow, this is an excellent message from Max Lucado as usual………

This is the day the Lord has made; we will rejoice and be glad in it. Psalm 118:24
I leaned back into my beach chair, interlaced my fingers behind my head, and closed my eyes. That’s when it happened.
No warning. Just bombs away! PLOP!
I looked up just in time to see a seagull giving high feathers to his buddies on the beach!
Count on it—into each day a bird will plop! Traffic will snarl. Friends will forget. Spouses will complain.
Who has a good day on these days? Most don’t—but couldn’t we try?
“This is the day the Lord has made; we will rejoice and be glad in it.”
This day? Rejoice in it? God invites us to!
Could we rejoice smack dab in the midst of this day? Imagine the difference if we could. How’s that for a day changer?
Have a Great Day—Every Day!
And while you’re at it—keep an eye on the seagull with the silly grin!

Please pray for Denna as she goes into the Hospital this morning to have a biopsy of the mass in her bronchial tube.

Good Morning Dewey!
Thank you for your prayers and the prayers of the Saints! Sue and I have felt the Lord all around us over the past week. Peace has come back into our lives, with a strong sense of purpose for our grandchildren and our ministry. The body of Christ has kept us going, holding our hands up in praise to the Lord. The victory is all His!

Would you and your wife host a table for Care Net Banquet that is coming up on April 24th6pm. All it would take is a yes and to invite 8 other couples for this event celebrating life. Or you could sit with Sue and I at our table. It will be held at the Embassy Suite Hotel.

WOW! We need to pray for Peace for our Country, Nothing like a Presidential campaign to bring out the hate in America! I had to actually shut the radio off yesterday!

I can feel and see the hate coming through the radio, tv and newspaper!

You can tell where a lot of America has it’s heart right now….St Louis holds a HUGE PARADE this past weekend to honor Soldiers from Iraq and Thousands attend, but most of America does not notice.

By the way, A Top Official in the Iraqi Government said yesterday that American Troops may have to return to Iraq because of escalating violence. I have said for weeks that one of the Greatest lies the American people are being told is that the Iraq War is over.

One of the Greatest problems of America, the Country I love so, is that many do not face the Truth or stand for the Truth, the Truth of God.

If you are one of my friends from Windom, I have a new column in last week’s paper on Mentorship. I am praying that Dave put’s it up on the web site, so all can read.

The Lord has really put the basics of life on my heart more and more, like the 10 Commandments……the 10 we strive for…….The general overall comments from Pastor’s the reason they are not Preached on and posted is people do not want to hear about the Teachings of the 10 Commandments! What does God think about that??? You know the answer! My Dad always said sometimes people need to hear what they don’t want to hear! Dad also said sometimes you need to take the medicine you don’t want to take.

It seems to me that we have more book, tapes, songs, delivery systems like I-pods, youtube….etc……..more Church study programs, more speakers, more conferences than in the History of the Church, but our society struggles so…..

I think one of the reasons we struggle here in America is that we are not taking the medicine we need to take, like,God’s Word in it’s entirety, God’s 10 Commandments, they can be preached in love, oh yes they can.

A Good sermon makes people a bit uncomfortable as to where they are at in their walk with Jesus Christ. That message also can be delivered in love.

A Whole sermon can be done on One Commandment.

We are living in a time right now where you can take the 10th Commandment: Thou Shall Not Covet…..and look at our society and use it as a prime example of what happens when we covet what we should not.

God vales humility, contentment, and peace.

Be content with what you have, that includes Church’s.

Don’t long for things that belong to others.

Avoid the pursuit of happiness and joy through the accumulation of material wealth, possessions, someone else’s spouse, and other’s friends.

Don’t allow earthly things to fill a void that only God can fill.

Ask God to provide what you need.

God promises that He will take care of our needs if we seek Him first and not money, popularity, or possessions.

There is one sermon right there.

You can look at the 10th Commandment and see what happens when you break it………just look at America, we as a Country turned away from the 10th Commandment and our economy collapsed.

What other examples to we need to look at in the face?

There is no Political formula for the recovery of America!! The recovery of America will happen when we as a Country repent and get back to the basics of our Faith in God, like the 10 Commandments. The same with the Church! The Church will recover when it get’s back to the basics.

I get a sad kick out of many Christians, they get all fired up when the read or hear a story about the Court saying, You cannot Post the 10 Commandments at this Courthouse!!!! I want to know how many of these same Christians post the 10 Commandments in their homes and Church’s and strive to follow them each day!

PS……..Just don’t post them…STRIVE for them!

Is your hose of faith all kicked up???? The water not flowing???? Maybe you have some leaks in your faith……Ray Sturdivant of www.miningthetruth.com and on KKIM weekday mornings at 7:35 has a message for us that ties in so perfectly with what we are sharing this morning………..

Garden hose theology
A garden hose is a great analogy of us in our relationship with Christ. Water will be our analogy for the life of Christ because His life is called “living water” and the “water of life” in the Bible.

Before we come to saving faith in Jesus, we are like an unused garden hose that is lying outside kinked and collapsed with no life or water filling us. Saving faith connects us to the water source, which is the resurrected life of Christ. The water is now turned on. But sin patterns and faulty theology are the kinks in the hose from our previous condition that restricts the flow of water from completely filling us. We also develop new kinks in our hose, after we are connected, by the world, the flesh, and the devil. But the more we learn to rely on the life of Christ for our every need we start to work the kinks out so that the water of life starts to flow more freely. We become fuller to the point that His life starts to flow unrestricted through us and those close to us get wet with His presence from filling us.

The motivation for prayer, Bible study, helping others, eliminating sin patterns and orienting to the truth isn‘t because life abides in any of those activities. Life is found in one place and that is Jesus. The activities mentioned cannot produce life. They contain no water in and of themselves, but they can help get the kinks out of our hose so that the life of Jesus can freely flow through us. As good as any of these activities are, they are no substitute for abiding in Jesus. They are merely the means by which we align ourselves to Jesus so that His life can flow in us. Focusing on any of these activities as an end in and of themselves is cheap religiosity with no life flowing in it. But when we use these activities to bring us to a place of abiding in Jesus they fall into their proper roll of keeping His life flowing in our lives. The Bible calls this flow “abundant life” and we can receive it but we can‘t produce it.

Revelation 21:6 Then He said to me, ” It is done. I am the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the end. I will give to the one who thirsts from the spring of the water of life without cost.

Good morning, Dewey

I have a prayer request. Some time ago I believe that God planted in my heart to develop a self-sustaining farm for adults with mental illnesses. This farm would be as self-sustaining as possible — raising chickens for eggs and vegetables to be sold to local markets. More importantly it would enable adults to live in the country,away from the city. but not too far from needed mental health services. It would be a place where God is honored and the 10 Commandments posted. I have no resources, my credit is nil and there is limited farmland available, to the best of my knowledge. There would also need to be buildings — or enough money to build them. I envision this farm to be located in one of three places: either near Mankato, near Windom, or near Sioux Falls. I would appreciated both your prayers and input if you believe this is a godly dream. This has been growing in me for some time, and after having read just a part of the Circle Maker a burning desire to develop this has come up in my heart. I await your reply.

WOW JIM! Hallelujah!!! AWESOME!!! We are praying over this right now……..what you are praying on Jim is something that GOD showed you! A need that is great! I am going to pray that others will come to surround you in making this happen and that Church’s will join you in this effort! It is prayers like this that will turn around this Country! Are You Eating Fake Honey that’s Toxic?

In a new report by Food Safety News (FSN), more than 75% of the honey on American supermarket shelves may be ultra-processed—to the point that all inherent medicinal properties are completely gone—and then smuggled into the country by the barrel drum. Nearly all of this fake honey is made in China. Some of these brokers will even create bogus country of origin papers. All 60 jars of “honey” tested by FSN came back negative for pollen (including Sue Bee and Winnie the Pooh brands), which is a clear sign of ultra-processing.

According to FSN, “The removal of these microscopic particles from deep within a flower would make the nectar flunk the quality standards set by most of the world’s food safety agencies. The food safety divisions of the World Health Organization, the European Commission and dozens of others have also ruled that without pollen, there is no way to determine whether the honey came from legitimate and safe sources.”

Millions of pounds of honey that have been banned by the European Union are being smuggled into the U.S. from China. Much of this honey is tainted with illegal antibiotics, including chloramphenicol, which can cause DNA damage and cancer, and heavy metals like lead. The US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) states that any product that’s been ultra-filtered and no longer contains pollen IS NOT honey.

In their investigation, FSN discovered the following:

– 76% of honey samples bought at grocery stores (such as TOP Food, Safeway, QFC, Kroger, Harris Teeter, etc.) were absent of pollen
– 77% of the honey from big box stores (like Costco, Sam’s Club, Walmart, and Target) were absent of pollen
– 100% of the honey sampled from drug stores (like Walgreens, Rite-Aid, and CVS Pharmacy) were absent of pollen

Fake honey is unfortunately common in this era of food manipulation and control. Some Chinese brokers sell a mixture of sugar water, malt sweeteners, corn or rice syrup, jiggery (combination of whole cane sugar and the sugar from the palm tree), barley malt sweetener or other additives, and label it “honey” which then easily makes it into your grocery store.

The good news is, all of the samples from farmers markets, co-ops, and natural stores like Trader Joe’s had the full, proper compliment of pollen, as did organic brands from common grocery stores.

Keep in mind that the vast majority of honey sold and consumed in the United States is processed or refined. And, like most refined foods, processed honey can promote disease and damage your health (including your teeth) — and it will not offer you the same health benefits such as raw, high-quality Manuka honey.

Eat real honey in moderation because 70-80% of it is fructose, which, in excessive amounts can exacerbate pre-existing insulin resistance and wreak havoc on your body.

Each teaspoon of honey has nearly four grams of fructose so carefully add the total grams of fructose (including fruits) that you consume each day, and stay below 25 grams of total fructose per day. This is particularly important if you suffer from signs of elevated insulin, such as:
– Overweight
– High blood pressure
– High blood cholesterol
– Diabetes
– Midsection Fat

Other than real honey from your local farmer’s market, you’ll want to start looking for Manuka honey which is a very special kind of honey that has healing benefits far exceeding that of ordinary honey. Manuka honey is made by bees that feed off the flowers of the Manuka bush, a medicinal plant native to New Zealand. As long as it’s used in moderation, eating raw Manuka honey will help you to promote health.
