Dear KKIM family,
May God be with you and yours more than ever!
MAY THE HOLY SPIRIT COME OVER YOU AND YOURS LIKE NEVER BEFORE!!!!!!!!
Thank you all who have responded to the prayer needs of Sara and Claudio Chavez on the loss of their 9 month old boy. Also for your prayers for Mary. God Bless you all. I have not received an update on Mary.
Nothing under the sun remains the same. But God. His all-sustaining goodness and perfection remains when all strength is sapped, every hope dashed, heart crushed, promise broken, fear realized, mistake magnified! In ALL things, through EVERY season..FOREVER. When the rivers run dry, the rocks turn to rubble, the stars fall from the sky and time is no more, HE will endure! Release the temporary, hold fast to the eternal…and BE blessed
.I know about all this March madness about College Basketball, yes I do, BUT WILL YOU CELEBRATE WITH ME EVERYDAY THE LOVE OF JESUS CHRIST!!!!! let US ALL FALL MADLY IN LOVE WITH JESUS!!!
Let us understand this please, salt and Light people of God: Those who do evil hate the light. This is true of criminals, corrupt politicians, immoral people. Know one wants the bad they do exposed to the LIGHT OF JESUS CHRIST! In contrast, those who live by the TRUTH OF JESUS CHRIST are drawn to HIS LIGHT! Believers are thankful and joyful for their deeds to be seen for God’s Glory Alone, yes HIS glory alone! Though we are far from perfect, we know our actions meet with HIS approval and Blessings for HIS GLORY ALONE!!! AMEN!!!
Last night on New Mexico News and Views I interviewed Brad Hill who was just elected Mayor of Edgewood, NM. I met Brad at the Valley View Christian Church Men’s Breakfast. Brad shared that Romans 12 really has impacted his life as he has gone into Public Service…….
Verse 7-11
to one is given a message of wisdom through the Spirit,
to another, a message of knowledge
by the same Spirit,
to another, faith by the same Spirit,
to another, gifts of healing
by the one Spirit,
to another, the performing of miracles,
to another prophecy,
to another, distinguishing
between spirits,
to another, different kinds of languages,
to another, interpretation of languages.
But one and the same Spirit is active in all these, distributing to each one as He wills.
We go on further to read in verse 12-13
For as the body is one and has many parts, and all the parts of that body, though many, are one body—-so also is Christ. For we were all baptized by one Spirit into one body—-whether Jew or Greeks, whether slaves or free—and we were all made to drink of one Spirit.
AMEN!
Thank you for sharing last night Brad!
IT has been such an AWESOME week in the LORD, yes it has had many challenges, but we keep plugging away in our LORD!
WOW! yesterday I was first on the air with Dan and Birga of 730AM and then with Ted at KCHF on God Answer’s Prayer!! What an AWESOME time in our LORD talking about KKIM’s 40th Birthday Praise and Worship service Friday April 13th at Legacy Church, the main campus. Thanks to my Dear Brothers and Sister’s and Son Broadcasting for their love! Ted talked about how he enjoys the CUP each day! Thank you Ted, love you much!
The Lord is really moving here at the CUP putting people together in different part’s of America to be Disciples, yesterday Ernie Belanger Editor of the Christian Radio Guide in New York State and Dr. Joe Fawcett of Dallas, came on board as team members. The Lord has shown me people that He wants me to gather together for His purpose, and that is to serve others as we do here at KKIM and the CUP. We are here to serve and not to be served. The heart of a servant: But he that is greatest among you shall be your servant. Matt 23:11
As you drink this CUP a new contributor Darlene Quiring writes on just what I wrote……..Thank you Darlene!!
My day begins around 4am and yesterday ended about 6:30pm with a conversation with Tom Lester who played Eb in Green Acres. Ed and a group are trying to raise money to make a Christian Movie, Return to Petticoat Junction! Remember that show? Petticoat Junction, Green Acres and the Beverly Hillbillies were all tied together. Tom says it is so hard to find backers for Christian movies. Alan Autry has the same challenges as he marches on each day trying to produce Christian Movies. Please keep Tom and Alan in your prayers as they walk the road the Lord has put before them.
Got this AWESOME email from Sandi B of Conviction For Christ Ministries, where I am a Pastor now………WOW! PRAISE GOD! I read this letter yesterday on God Answers Prayer on KCHF…….
Dewey, KKIM has been a huge blessing in my life. I became a Christian in 1969. I have been a listener of KKIM since it first came on the airwaves. It was the only Christian radio that was available. I believe that KKIM had such a large part of my life, it provided me with spiritual growth, and the music that was played gave me a deep desire to become a singer. Now I use that gift to bless those behind prison walls and those who are critically ill in hospitals. My 89 year old dad and I were talking about KKIM the other day and he reminded me that my mother had KKIM radio playing all day at their business, she loved KKIM. What a joy and privilege it will be sharing KKIM’s 40th Birthday Praise and Worship service on Friday, April 13th at Legacy Church with you. Thank you Dewey for all your hard work to keep KKIM on the radio. Thank you Sharon for making all the sacrifices that you have had to make in supporting Dewey in such a high calling. Love, Sandi B
Thank you Sandi B….and thank you for acknowledging the sacrifices of Sharon!
Here is another great Love note from Brother Steve Stucker……..little late posting this as I was not with you yesterday…this email came in Wed. afternoon…….
My Brother Dewey! I'm in a small town in NW Indiana visiting my wife's father. He lost his wife, my much loved mother in law, just before Thanksgiving. We are here helping him go through her things & keepsakes. What a blessing it has been to see what was important to her. God & family. I have benefited greatly from her efforts to raise up a good & godly woman in my wife Rose. Though I can't get internet here, a few emails come through my phone, including the Daily Cup. Thanks for your heart for ALL of us in ministry! The encouragement is much appreciated. I'm finishing up my message for this Saturday morning's citywide COVENANT MEN mtg @ New Co venant Church, which is all about recognizing & answering God's Call in our lives! I've seen several points in your emails I want to add to my lesson. Then on Sunday evening, I kick off our newest adventure, w 2 church services @ the long term youth jail, YDDC. Please ask all to pray that the Holy Spirit will FILL the kids in lockup with the Joy & Promises God gives them in Jeremiah 29:11...a Future & A HOPE! May Jesus continue to bless & protect you! Steve Stucker
Thank you bro Steve we are praying for you and your Family!
Day 29 of our 40 day Journey together……
Psalm 22:8 Old testament Prophecy
“He relies on the Eternal; let the Eternal rescue him
and keep him safe because He is happy with him.”
Fulfilled in Jesus Matthew 27:43
Chief Priests, Scribes, and Elders (mocking Him): He claimed communion with God—well, let God save Him, if He’s God’s beloved Son.
Amazingly, so many people saw Jesus perform miracle after miracle, and yet they couldn’t comprehend God’s plan to redeem humanity and return them to His family. Instead of asking for an explanation of Jesus crucifixion, the people taunted what they didn’t understand. Kind a sounds like today………
That is why we must be Salt and Light! AMEN!
PRAISE GOD!!! WOW! People of like Mind and Spirit are gathering here at the CUP more and more each day! Look at what the Lord has done today!!! Darlene Quiring is from the Windom, Minn area, Darlene shares with us today in a theme that so fit’s together with the message of what Dr. Joe Fawcett, and Pastor Bill Ruhl have to share with us this day, Oh Lord thank YOU for these Disciples of yours!
Whoever says he is in the Light and [yet] hates his brother [Christian,
born-again child of God his Father] is in darkness even until now. Whoever loves his brother [believer] abides (lives) in the Light, and in It or in him there is no occasion for stumbling or cause for error or sin. But he who hates (detests, despises) his brother [in Christ] is in darkness and walking (living) in the dark; he is straying and does not perceive or know where he is going, because the darkness has blinded his eyes. —1 John 2:9–11
Hate is an extremely strong and harsh word. Any discussion among believers about hating other Christians would lead most of them to say, “I don’t believe I have ever hated anyone.” If we think about these words of John, however, perhaps he didn’t mean hate as we think of it—feeling great hostility or animosity toward someone.
Perhaps our form of hatred today is more like indifference. We don’t really dislike people, but we don’t care enough to help them when they have troubles and problems. “Most of the loving I see today in the church is based on convenience,” someone told me recently. He went on to say that we will reach out to others as long as it’s convenient or doesn’t demand too much time or effort.
This opens a wide door of opportunity for Satan to separate us from those who most need our love. Jesus commanded us to love each other. In John 13:34–35, He said that people would recognize us as His disciples by our expressions of love toward one another. Perhaps one reason they don’t say that about many of today’s Christians is because too often we’re unwilling to go out of our way to meet the needs of others.
Love is an action verb. If you love others, you do things for them. To hate (in the biblical sense) is to do nothing or to turn away. To make it worse, you judge and criticize others and think, If they really loved God, they wouldn’t be in such a predicament.
You need to see that if you practice God’s “love walk,” you not only grow yourself, but you enable others to grow. The devil can’t do you much harm if you truly walk in loving relationship with others.
Darlene Quiring
Thank you so Much Darlene, Welcome Aboard!
The Medical Bag takes on a whole new concept today read on………
Here’s Dr. Joe…………….this all ties together, the Holy Spirit is really moving in POWERFUL ways here at the CUP and KKIM PRAISE GOD!!!!!!!!!!
Healthy accountability principle: We get healthy better when we get healthy together.
This powerful principle of “staying together” in order to get better health applies to every aspect of our body, soul and spirit. God created us to purposely live this principle through the power of His Holy Spirit first as husband and wife, as an immediate family; cascading from there to engulf our inner sphere of closest friends, relatives, business associates, the church, and acquaintances.
The problem is that demonic and fleshly forces are constantly at work to break down (to stress out, to separate) our relationships within any and all of those spheres. And when the break downs occur, so does our health, which can manifest in to such things as allergies, inflammations, stomach problems, skin problems, cancers, and the list goes on and on.
Evil’s purpose is to separate us from the people who care and love us the most, the foremost being The Lord. For whatever reason, when a terrible event comes against us, the enemy innately knows to seize the moment so as to set about to destroy even our most intimate relationships. Evil tries to get us to turn against each other, and The Lord, so as to further weaken us to get us to break ranks and run. But when we run from Him, as well as from the sincere help of others, we become “easy pickin’s” for the enemy to do whatever they can to us.
In my almost 40 years in the health care industry, I can tell you that the bodily health and finance areas are where the enemy viciously attacks to help create an excessive overload of stressful struggles in a person’s life. I can also attest that it usually first began in the person’s mind, emotions and will: the soul because, for whatever reason, they had not been “wearing the Mind of Christ”.
A powerful visual of this horrific soulful, physical, and spiritual struggle often reminds me of a scene out of the blockbuster movie, “Gladiator” that came out in May, 2000. It won five 2001 Oscar Awards for Best Actor in a Leading Role, Best Picture, Best Costume Design, Best Sound and Best Visual Effects. You can watch the scene here on YouTube http://youtu.be/BfgKkhVHI-4 but be forewarned that it is very violent and very bloody… but then again, so is spiritual warfare.
In a dusty recreation of the Battle of Carthage inside the Roman Coliseum, the war hero Maximus (played by Russell Crowe) takes command of the gladiators, all foot soldiers, who are cast as the ill-fated Carthaginians. It’s the perfect stage for a slaughter much to the perverted amusement of a huge crowd eager for blood.
The gladiators are marched out of a dark passageway into the brilliant sunlight and met with an antagonistic roar. As they gather in the middle of the enormous coliseum, Maximus shouts to his men: “Stay together.” He attempts to assemble the frightened and confused gladiators into a tight circle: back-to-back, shields up, spears out. Again he tells them, “Whatever comes out that gate, stay together. Stay together and survive.”
Chariots rumble from out of a gate with golden armored Amazonian female warriors hurling spears and shooting arrows with deadly accuracy at them. A few gladiators brake rank from the circle, ignoring Maximus’s order, and are instantly killed. Maximus shouts again, “Stay together!” The remaining men have become quick believers in his leadership skills.
The compulsion to run from the group is incredibly strong. But Maximus exerts his authority, and the wiser ones resist that lethal impulse and heed his wise and experienced war commands.
Chaos rules as spears and arrows rain down on the men’s meager protection of wooden shields. The chariots come in for the kill as the crowd is now in a bloodlust frenzy. But just at the last possible second Maximus shouts, “Now!”
The organized gladiators fiercely go on the offense and much to the surprise of the Emperor, royalty, and the crowd, brutally slaughter all who were in the chariots.
Remember, “Whatever comes out that gate, stay together…and survive.” Isn’t that a lot like “we get healthy better when we get healthy together?”
Friend, the enemy is always coming out of the gate trying to put us to flight, to get us to run from our perceived problem(s)…to break rank…to not hold firm…to not stay together…to make us forget that we do have the Mind of Christ…to make us weak enough to not put on our whole armor of God…to keep us sick… to keep us financially broke or on the edge…to inflict damages on our relationships…to make us think that we are not in a deadly cosmic war.
Yes, the problem(s) coming out “that gate” at you and me are brutally real just like the ones that were coming against those hapless gladiators. The winning solution was and is always to STAY TOGETHER. It was the being-of-like-mind that overcame what appeared to be impossible odds. So, now gather your forces! Call forth your mighty prayer warriors and together with the mind of Christ fight the battle before you by shouting praises and petitions to our Lord The Protector and Our Victor…it’s the healthy thing to do to His glory and for your blessings.
AWESOME Dr. Joe!!!!!!!
Now onto Pastor Bill!!!
Financial Advice You Need to Know:
Don’t Blame Your Budget. The time tested truth is: The only reason a properly established budget doesn’t work is if you don’t implement it. Since a budget is just a plan on how to spend your money, the only road to failure is to be stopped at an eternal stop sign. You are by necessity going to spend your money, so why not operate your budget at a nice, safe, steady pace and watch your savings increase, your investments grow, your needs be met, your stress level lower, and your debt vanish in the rear view mirror? What could be easier? You took the time to prepare your budget (if not, get started), now don’t leave it parked at home. Take it out for a spin, enjoy it…The New Mexico weather is perfect to put the top down and accelerate. Your next destination is “Debt Free” and beyond that lies “Lifetime Security”. That is unless you park your budget and then you may have to look for a second job to get back on track. It’s your choice; out on the road to financial freedom or stuck in the garage buried beneath all the other stuff you’ve accumulated, but can’t pay for. My advice is kickstands up and full throttle, there is plenty of open road ahead!
That’s the Financial Advice You Need to Know: I’m Pastor Bill Ruhl with Global Destiny Ministry, Albuquerque, NM

Thank you Pastor Bill!
March 14 , 2012. Awaken to the dawn of a new day. Yesterday is gone forever. You have no guarantee of tomorrow. But you do have this day, this very moment. Today is to be holy unto the Lord for you. Set it aside. Cancel all or as much as you can of anything else. Catch the wind of My Spirit. Grasp after Holy Spirit fire like the flames over the heads of the first disciples. That wind and fire became the first Pentecost following the resurrection of Jesus from the grave. Make no mistake about it, that same visitation is available to you this very day. Holy unto the Lord is your motto for this day. Enjoy every moment of it.
Ephesians 5:14, 18 (AMP) “Therefore He says, Awake, O sleeper, and arise from the dead, and Christ shall shine (make day dawn) upon you and give you light. And do not get drunk with wine, for that is debauchery; but ever be filled and stimulated with the [Holy] Spirit.” Ras Robinson

March 14, 2012. In your discussion with someone, revelation came. What was said was startling and eye opening. This revelation seemed almost directly opposite to ways you have been operating. This new revelation is causing some angst within. Don’t discount what was said, but don’t quit doing what you have been doing either. Give both some time to think through with prayer. Seek Me fully and totally. If you do you will not go astray. Both ways and concepts are right in their own way. “How can that be?” you ask. Keep seeking Me and you will see how both are right and not in conflict with each other. It brings you balance.
Ecclesiastes 3:1-4 (NASB) “There is an appointed time for everything. And there is a time for every event under heaven- A time to give birth and a time to die; A time to plant and a time to uproot what is planted. A time to kill and a time to heal; A time to tear down and a time to build up. A time to weep and a time to laugh; A time to mourn and a time to dance.” Bev Robinson

March 14, 2012. Recently, I looked on a wall above a bed in my parent’s home and saw two wooden displays of single oak leaves my mom had carved when I was a child. The Lord is saying, “I have gifted you with very unique capacities and aptitudes which are unlike anyone else. You have been equipped with irreplaceable skills and talents. Don’t be afraid to put on display the talents I have bestowed upon you. These gifts are for your benefit and My glory. Find your niche in life and continue to carve to your hearts contentment. I have positioned you in a place especially suited for you. Receive your position.”

Important Seminar March 17 & 18, 2012 in Lawton, OK. Ras and Bev Robinson are both sharing. See below. March 16, 2012. Perhaps the most outstanding aspect of Jesus’ early ministry was his relationship with children. The first thing ever said about His public ministry was that He came to proclaim the Kingdom of God. It was also true of His cousin John the Baptist. Together they preached the Kingdom over and over again. Most of Jesus’ disciples never understood the Kingdom even upon the day of His resurrection. The key to understanding and unlocking the kingdom was and is to make the connection between childlikeness and the Kingdom. A major key to God’s kingdom is to be childlike in the pursuit and expression of it. Once you look at it as a child would look, you begin to master the Kingdom of God. Why not try it? Matthew 18:2-3 (NASB) “And He called a child to Himself and set him before them, and said, “Truly I say to you, unless you are converted and become like children, you will not enter the kingdom of heaven.” Ras Robinson March 16, 2012. You are wondering if you are speaking what I am saying. It is good to question this. Keep on questioning, but also be sure of what you are saying. This is not double talk. This keeps you on track. Don’t be philosophical. That does no one good. That leaves them with more questions than answers and in the long run empty. Speak My words. I am the way, the truth and the life. Lift Me up. Shine the light on Me. I have the answer to every question. I have the answer to every problem. Mine is the way of power not the way of empty words producing straw and stubble. 1 Corinthians 2:6-7 (NLT) “Yet when I am among mature believers, I do speak with words of wisdom, but not the kind of wisdom that belongs to this world or to the rulers of this world, who are soon forgotten. No, the wisdom we speak of is the mystery of God -his plan that was previously hidden, even though he made it for our ultimate glory before the world began. Bev Robinson Scroll down to see “Photo of the Day” from our ministry to children in the Philippines. March 16, 2012. I have made My dwelling place within you. Have you done the same with Me? Are you flying by the seat of your pants, or have you found a resting place within My abundant provision? Inside Me lies all the fruit of the Spirit. Outside of me is where you fall prey to the schemes of the enemy. You have access to all the privileges I have to offer under My shelter. Outside of Me you have so much to lose. Become intimate with Me. Take up residence within Me. Make the choice today to come into My camp. Stop living outside the abundant life I have to offer. Joshua 24:15 (NASB) “If it is disagreeable in your sight to serve the LORD, choose for yourselves today whom you will serve: whether the gods which your fathers served which were beyond the River, or the gods of the Amorites in whose land you are living; but as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD.” Kevin Robinson |
