That is the scripture for our efforts to help Children in Haiti. WE ARE RECEIVING AN OUTSTANDING RESPONSE THIS MORNING for our fund drive for children in Haiti.
Let us arise and be Salt and Light to the World!!!
Many stepped forward yesterday to help.Will you? The Lord has shown me that many have given up on the people of Haiti because of things like corruption in the government or just tried of hearing about the plight of the people of Haiti. My Dear friends, God is not tired, we must not be tired in being Salt and Light to the Children of Haiti, or anywhere in the World.

I find this very interesting in our Lord……..the Lord is trying to show you and me something through the lives of Randy and our Cowboy!
These two, the way man would see it, don’t have two nickels to rub together! BUT BOY DO THEY GIVE OF THEMSELVES! Randy has been through extreme challenges in his life but is completely sold out for Jesus! and Cowboy lives his life in a wheelchair at age 24 but weeps as he prays for others!
Pastor;s Steve Smothermon, Steve Stucker, Bill Ruhl, and Jim Montoya joined us on air yesterday for our effort to raise funds for Children in Haiti. What an AWESOME group of Men! PRAISE GOD!

Dear Dewey,
As I read the writings by Randal James Thom, they are written in a little brown book that simply says,
“STOP and CONSIDER God’s Wondrous Works. Job 37:14”
As I read the writings from such a man that is this close in listening to God, I think of Paul in the Bible! In all his writings, he looks up to God and no matter his fear, his writings turn from his feelings to his love for others. This is Randal Thom’s heart!
I have read this, typed this and reread this and Randal’s writing is anointed and becomes more beautiful and powerful in each time I hear the LORD ring these words off the page! Off the page, and into my heart that just knows that I am thankful to know such a man as Randal James Thom who lives his life Today with Jesus full and alive and overflowing from within him!
When I STOP and CONSIDER God’s Wondrous Works, I think of Randal and I am proud that we are friends!
We are working on writing his book, which has become our book, Outrageous Love and I am humbly grateful that Randal has allowed me to be a small part in this … a book that will bring hope and a future to many and glorify God as it will be used as a tool to lead others to seek Jesus on this level…a living, healing and complete relationship with Jesus, who is the Christ the Son of the Living God!

That Hole in the Soul.
Each one of us has a God shaped hole in our soul. We can fill that hole in many ways, but how we feel after filling that hole truly depends on what you filled it with.
Alcoholics, drug addicts, thieving addicts all fill that hole with that temporary short lived filler, and wind up wondering why they continue to be hopeless, to not have any joy, to be sad.
Yes, that emptiness can either be filled with problems or with Jesus Christ.
Each day has 24 hours in it, and so often we squander many of those hours in search of that magical feel good moment. When you truly learn of Gods love, you begin each day in God’s presence. You will soon find that hole in your soul is filled with God things – no longer will simple problems confound you, no longer will hopelessness pervade your mind.
God desires us to seek Him in prayer, in deeds, in love, when we pray and truly believe, God will answer that prayer.

For the Ladies: Tips for Heart-Healthy Hormones
Prevalence of Women’s Heart Disease:
– Worldwide, 8.6 million women die from heart disease each year, accounting for a third of all deaths in women. Three million women die from stroke each year. Stroke accounts for more deaths among women than men (11% vs. 8.4%) with additional risk for CHD unique to women related to oral contraceptive use in combination with smoking.
– 8 million women in the US are currently living with heart disease; 35,000 are under age of 65. Four million suffer from angina.
– 435,000 American women have heart attacks annually; 83,000 are under age 65; 35,000 are under 55. The average: 70.4.
– 42% of women who have heart attacks die within 1 year, compared to 24% of men.
– Under age 50, women’s heart attacks are twice as likely as men’s to be fatal.
– 267,000 women die each year from heart attacks, which kill six times as many women as breast cancer. Another 31, 837 women die each year of congestive heart failure, representing 62.6% of all heart failure deaths.
Heart disease is the No. 1 killer of women in the United States. More women die from it than the number of those who died from breast cancer, the flu, or in motor vehicle accidents.
It’s a staggering number that means we need to look at what happens that increases the risk of heart disease in women as they age.
There is a simple connection between heart disease and menopause. Estrogen, the hormone women have in abundance before menopause, is a major protector of the heart and once that disappears, women catch up with men and even surpass them in having more heart attacks, strokes, and cardiac disease.
There are 52 million women older than 50 today who should run to get prescriptions for bioidentical hormones, which would immediately decrease their risk of heart disease by more than 60%.
How Hormones Affect the Heart
Women in their 20s and 30s, are full of hormones; estradiol (estrogen of youth), progesterone (the hormone that balances estrogen), and even testosterone. Hormones are the root reason women are healthy when they are young. Hormones also support the immune function so young women get over a cold in 48 hours and eliminate inflammation so they don’t suffer with arthritic joints.
When a woman is in her 40’s, things begin to change. They manufacture fewer hormones, ovulate irregularly, and hormone quality diminishes until they stop making hormones altogether at menopause. On the outside, wrinkles appear, midriff bulge spills over, and energy drops. What’s more, sleep becomes a nightmare and is accompanied by hot flashes, night sweats, palpitations and, of course, anxiety. Inside, the loss of hormones increases bad cholesterol levels, plaque in our arteries, and incidents of shortness of breath.
Complicating the picture for women is the fact that they do not experience or manifest heart disease like men. Chest pain may not be the presenting symptom. Heart disease in women can be a nagging toothache, jaw aches, arm pain, and often exhaustion and persistent cough.
Too many women who die are misdiagnosed because studies on and treatments for heart disease have been conducted with men.
If women would learn not to fear bioidentical hormones — which are manufactured to look identical to their own hormones — and take them before menopause, heart disease would claim fewer women’s lives.
Tips for Women’s Heart-Healthy Hormones
– Become aware that hormones are your protectors. Read about them all that you can.
– Consider taking bioidentical hormones as soon as you begin experiencing symptoms of premenopause.
– If you have a family history of heart disease, start taking bioidentical hormones as early as possible.
– By age 40, change your diet and eat foods that are low in simple carbohydrates (junk foods), and enjoy lots of fruits and vegetables (complex carbohydrates).
– Cut down on alcohol, caffeine, soda, sugar, and sugar substitutes.
– Increase the amount of cardio exercise and strength building you do to 30 minutes a day.
– Sleep eight hours every night. Take a short nap during the day and don’t feel guilty about it!
– Eliminate fear and anxiety from your life. They are dangerous to your heart.
– Work with doctors who support and encourage you, not fear mongers. I suggest a woman works with a woman doctor. I always referred my lady patients to the appropriate lady specialists and very, very rarely to a male doctor.
– Don’t fear heart disease or cancer. Forgive yourself and others.
– Stay in love with the Lord Jesus Christ…in all things give your heart to Him.
