Dear KKIM family,
“And there appeared an angel to him from heaven, strengthening him.” – Luke 22:43
AMEN!
Oh Praise God we are here this day!
May the Peace, Grace, and Strength of our Lord be with you this day and all days…….
“And the things that thou hast heard of me among many witnesses, the same commit thou to faithful men, who shall be able to teach others also” 2 Tim 2:2
This is the formula for spreading the gospel and enlarging the church. Paul taught Timothy;Timothy shared what he knew with faithful men; these faithful men would then teach others also. And so the process goes on and on.If every believer followed this pattern, the church could reach the entire world in one generation.
How can you start living 2 Timothy 2:2 in your own life?
After yesterdays posting Pastor Leonard sent this in……….
Great cup. “not our job to grow our ministry or a church. Our job is to preach the truth” – Bob Russell
One to one Ministry will reach the world! AMEN!
We must be aware of the truth in our World……..the worsening of our Financial condition as a Country……..The slow down of the economy of this World has reached China…….we must be Salt and Light and shine the Light on the Truth and we must fulfill the Great Commission and share the Gospel of Jesus Christ……and bring God back into America………we have failed to be good stewards as to what the Lord has given America…………
New analysis by USA Today shows the federal deficit is much higher than reported.
The popular paper discovered Congress doesn’t include the cost of retirement programs as part of its overall accounting. State and local governments, along with businesses, are required to include these factors.
If the federal government figured its spending the way everyone else does, last year’s federal deficit would have been $5 trillion, much more than the official figure of $1.3 trillion that was released.
The government also said it ran up deficits over $5.5 trillion from 2004 to 2011. Yet, USA Today found the real deficits over that time period to be more than $30 trillion.
Researchers also said the typical American household would have paid nearly all of its income in taxes last year to balance the budget if the government used standard accounting rules to compute the deficit.
We need to shine the Light of Jesus Christ on our Elected officials and the system in Washington D.C.
On this Memorial day Weekend, I can tell you this, that my Dad, Wally and his 7 brothers who served our Country in WWII are rolling over in their graves as to what we have allowed to happen in this Country that they gave so much too!!!
My best friend Roger Carey from my hometown did not get killed in the Vietnam War for America to end up this way!
This is not the America our Founding Father’s and the World War I and II generation had in mind!
We have lost our foundation, because we allowed God to be kicked out of America for the most part.
Listen to me please: When I talk to anyone in their mid 70’s to 90’s they either weep for America and can’t talk about it………or they say..this is not the America they knew………
When I was growing up back home in Windom, Minnesota my Dad taught me self-responsibility……to take responsibility for my actions. We here in America are not taking self-responsibility for our actions…we are blaming everybody else for our problems. This is not a Democrat or Republican problem it is an American problem, A Spiritual problem…….we have allowed the Teachings of the Greatest Teacher ever to be kicked out of America. The 10 Commandments, the Word of God, which teaches on economics!
I go back to being Salt and Light and carrying out the Great Commission and occupying until the Lord returns. bringing others to Jesus Christ. Our mission is very clear…it is in the Word of God.
It is not to say, “This is none of my business.” It is your business if you are a follower of Jesus Christ!
AMEN and AMEN!
So what we do here is state the problem and the solution, we just don’t rant and rave……we have the Biblical solution presented to us by Jesus Christ. AMEN!
By the time John wrote 2 John, he was well acquainted with the fullness of truth. For example, he knew Jesus was full of grace and truth John 1:14. He knew Jesus was “the way, the truth, and the life” 14:6. Thus, when he wrote about truth in 2 John, he knew exactly what he was talking about!
John stated that many deceivers who do not acknowledge “Jesus Christ is coming in the flesh” 2 John 2, had gone out into the world. he said such a man was a deceiver and the antichrist.
As we read into 2 John, He exhorted the lady not to lose what she had worked for (Ties right into America this day) but to continue in the teaching she had received. What teaching had she received?
Most certainly she would have received teaching about who Jesus was—-the Son of God, the Son of Man, God in the flesh! AMEN!
John also admonished her not to allow anyone into her house who espoused false teaching.
We have too many false teachers in America at this point in our History, and too many of them our in the Church and Government!
Let’s pause right here and pray………….Please pray over what you just read…………and pray over 2 Timothy 2:2 and how you can start living it in your own life………Self responsibility.
Next week a HUGE REVIVAL in Los Lunas, for more information call Pastor Jim Montoya at 505-440-9770. Jim has been so busy he did not get time to put up a web site for this Revival, 15,000 pounds of potatoes and other food items will be given away to folks. This is a tremendous effort to fulfill the Great Commission, if you would like to help please call Pastor Jim.
Please forward to all… Fiesta de Amor has gone from Spill the Beans to Spill the Potatoes…………………….
Praise the Lord… We have been faced with a major dilemma of purchasing 20,000 pinto beans for $14,000 paid upon pickup. The contribution have not been sufficient to purchase even 2000 lbs of beans which would have been $1400.
Through much prayer, we made the decision to forego the beans.
But the Lord has other plans!
This afternoon as I was placing our Food Order from Roadrunner Food. Brian Vigil from RRBB said he could add potatoes to the order……….. How about 15,000 lbs of potatoes!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Praise the Lord!
But not only potatoes but also a a pallet of bread and two pallets of eggs and 120 gals of drinking water…… Wow!!
Tuesday at 11 am we will need help unloading food from Road Runner. The potatoes will need to be stored at Pastor Leray Romero’s Christian Fellowship Church at Los Lentes Rd , and the rest will be unloaded at my Church 3419 Hwy 47.
All systems are go for Fiesta de Amor………………….
Blessings
Jim
Now that is putting into action 2 Timothy 2:2…….
My Friends it’s deep in my heart…be Christ like in everything you do and say! AMEN!

My Car Keys
Several days ago, as I left a meeting at a hotel, I desperately gave myself a personal TSA pat-down. I was looking for my car keys. They were not in my pockets. A quick search in the meeting room revealed nothing.
Suddenly, I realized I must have left them in the car. Frantically, I headed for the parking lot. My wife has scolded me many times for leaving the keys in the ignition. My theory is the ignition is the best place not to lose them. Her theory is that the car will be stolen. As I burst through the door, I came to a terrifying conclusion.
Her theory was right. The parking lot was empty.
I immediately called the police. I gave them my location, confessed that I had left my keys in the car, and that it had been stolen.
Then, I made the most difficult call of all. “Honey,” I stammered. I always call her “honey” in times like these. “I left my keys in the car, and it has been stolen.”
There was a period of silence. I thought the call had been dropped, but then I heard her voice.
“Idiot,” she barked, “I dropped you off!”
Now it was my time to be silent. Embarrassed, I said, “Well, come and get me.”
She retorted, “I will, as soon as I convince this policeman I have not stolen your car.”
Yep, it’s the golden years.
Thanks for that Funny Bone Jerry………….
Not enough of our WWII Soldiers are around anymore…..that great generation is slipping away too fast for me!
This Memorial Day I pray you hear Jerry Stewart on KKIM This Saturday at 6pm, Sunday at 3pm and 7pm and Monday at 4:30pm and 8pm. Jerry does such an AWESOME presentation of Godly Patriotism! This is a dying talent here in the United States, people like Jerry Stewart who put together Patriotic Radio Specials! Remember you can listen on line at www.mykkim.com

Thought for the Day
“In your days of sorrow, know that you are never alone. You have a friend in God – a true and compassionate friend who knows how you feel. Through the loss of His friend Lazarus and through the death of His Son, He has felt the same sorrow that you do. He knows how you feel because He has shed His tears long before your tears flowed. Let Him wrap His arms around you and comfort you in your times of despair.”

Today’s Word
“When Jesus saw her weeping, and the Jews who had come along with her also weeping, he was deeply moved in spirit and troubled.”Where have you laid him?” he asked. “Come and see, Lord,” they replied. Jesus wept.” (John 11:33-35 NIV)

Today’s Prayer
Dear God, there are times when I feel so sad and alone. During these times I wonder if anyone can know how I feel. When I feel like this I remember the sadness You faced and the tears You shed and realize You know how I feel. I also know that I am never alone for You are always with me. Amen.

A hungry child will do almost anything to get some food. Too many of the children God has given us to sponsor are undernourished. You can help. See below.
May 25, 2012. God has impressed me strongly to share this with you. Knowing, seeing and hearing of hungry children may touch the tenderest part of the heart. We have discovered how important food is to children in their schooling. Teachers tell us a child with an empty stomach all day in school cannot learn! Honestly, it breaks my heart and brings tears to my eyes to think of a child not having anything to eat all day long. God has impressed us to believe Him for enough money to provide food for the poorest of the poor children you help this ministry sponsor. Sometimes I look at this and wonder if it is too big even for God to feed our 612 children who live on dumpsites, city streets and under bridges. A bowl of rice with mongo bean gravy, an egg, sardines, fish or chicken 2 times a day, 5 days a week, plus one full vitamin-enriched meal on the weekend will give a childthe basic nutrition he needs. All this for $20 per month per child, less than $1 a day. (See”Feed Hungry Children Photo of the Day” below.)

May 25, 2012. There are times you are to help others and there are times you are not to help. I see and know your heart is to help. Helping another to bear a burden should be done when their load is too heavy, not when they are freeloading. Sometimes your extended grace is not grace. It is overprotection. What you are doing for someone is causing them to shirk their responsibility, and keeping you and them from maturing. You have wondered about this. Talk to Me in detail, and wait on my answer. Come with a clear heart to hear how you need to handle this. I will tell you what, how, where and when.
Galatians 6:4-5 (MSG) “Make a careful exploration of who you are and the work you have been given, and then sink yourself into that. Don’t be impressed with yourself. Don’t compare yourself with others. Each of you must take responsibility for doing the creative best you can with your own life.” Bev Robinson

May 25, 2012. Can those around you tell if you have My fruit of the Spirit? Is My love evident to those who see you at the market place? Do you have My joy in the midst of difficult challenges? Does My peace rule and reign wherever you are? Do you have My patience when things are hurried? Are you walking in My kindness towards everyone you encounter? Does My goodness inside you pour forth from heaven? Is My faithfulness manifested for all to see? Is My gentleness within you soft as a breeze? Do you exhibit My self-control when no one is looking? Only you and I know the answers to these questions.
Galatians 5:22-23 (NASB) “But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control…” Kevin Robinson
Dr. Joe sure has shared such solid info in the past days, just like he always does……..I pray you are passing it on, we encourage you to share the CUP with others each day!
Continued: A Life with Diabetes
Diabetes can be hard on your health and how well you feel. But it can also play a big role in other parts of your life, such as your marriage, your finances, and your emotional well-being. You may feel angry one day, sad the next. You may worry how others will treat you – and wonder if they even need to know you have diabetes. Dealing with diabetes every day isn’t easy. But you can make it easier.
Here are some more ways diabetes can affect your life and how you can manage them:
Diabetes and Guilt
Some people feel as if they brought on the diabetes themselves, says Josephine Minardo, PsyD, executive director of New Jersey Psychological Associates. Often, they forget that genetics and family history play a role in diabetes, too. Feelings of guilt or shame can sometimes get in the way of making healthy choices. The best thing to do is to acknowledge your guilt, Minardo says, and let it go. “Think about what you can be doing now to improve your health and what’s realistic.”
You Need Support for Diabetes
Deciding who needs to know you have diabetes can be a difficult decision. You may worry that friends will judge you, or that colleagues will lose respect for you because you have diabetes. But telling the right people can make a big difference in your diabetes care. “You should tell people who can support you,” Minardo says. This includes close friends and family members, but may also include people you spend a lot of time with, such as colleagues or roommates. Make a list of the people in your life that may need to help you in a medical emergency. Then tell them about your diabetes and what to do in a hypoglycemic (high blood sugar) emergency.
Diabetes Affects Sexual Function
About half of all adults with diabetes are likely to develop some form of diabetes-related sexual complication. Men may have erectile dysfunction, premature ejaculation, and low testosterone. Women may experience vaginal dryness, low sex drive, and painful intercourse. Keeping your A1c (a measure of blood sugar levels over time) at a healthy level, lowering your blood pressure, getting regular exercise, and quitting smoking can help improve sexual function. Strengthening your relationship with your partner by talking to a licensed therapist or counselor may also improve your sex life.
Diabetes and Grief
Getting diagnosed with diabetes can cause feelings of grief or sadness. So can fluctuating blood sugar levels and concerns about diabetes complications. To protect your health and your mood, educate yourself about diabetes, and how food, activity, and medication affect your blood sugar levels. Know that you may have to plan ahead before doing physical activity, or you might feel more fatigue. But realize that you don’t have to go through diabetes alone. “It can be difficult,” says Melinda Maryniuk, RD, CDE, director of clinical education programs for the Joslin Diabetes Center in Boston, Mass. “But if you talk about all aspects up front, address barriers to care, and talk about what’s hard, you can look for solutions and learn to handle it better.”
In our next Medical Bag, I’ll share with you the most important questions you need to ask your doctor about diabetes. Have a blessed and safe weekend! And may we always remember those who serve and have served in our military.
