Dear KKIM family,

Good Morning! How are you this day?

Flag Day is coming up June 14th and Father’s Day June 17th. Flag Day is my Dad’s birthday, I will never forget that on HIS Birthday he bought me my first brand new bike!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Yes he did!!!!!!!!! That’s the kind of Dad I had!!!!!!!!!!!! Father’s Day is fast approaching…………My Birthday is July 4th!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have a sign on my desk that get’s the attention of most everybody, in fact some grab the little plaque and hold it, “For I know the plans I have for you,” Declares the Lord, “Plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” Jeremiah 29:11

This is my testimony to you this day……………

I was asked by Ambassador Media Magazine(It’s in the June Edition) this Father’s Day Question, What is the quality you most hope your children remember about you?

I answered, “That I believed in them that they could do what they thought they could not.”

AMEN! Our Children need our encouragement! Even you and I need daily encouragement!

My Children are achieving things they never thought they would…….because of Godly encouragement.

I grew up under the influence of true men of God, my Dad and Grandpa Caraway. Grandpa Moede passed away when my Dad was 13 years of age. I was surrounded by Pastor Kuamme, Sunday School Teachers Mr. Fredrickson and Mrs. Hartberg and countless others in my hometown of Windom, Minnesota which is so special to me because of the values I learned.

I read this quote this morning from Minnesota Twins manager Ron Gardenhire commenting on the struggles of a rookie player………

“It’s not going to be all rosy here. So you’re going to have to battle through some of these times to actually see what kind of character you have.”

When the going get’s tough, the tough get going. Godly tough………by putting the Armour of God on.

What Gardenhire said, is just what my Dad would say……..life is not a bed of roses son, but through hard work you will make your way.

These, what seem to me, simple lessons in life are HUGE, as I don’t know if society overall knows them. More are growing up wanting life to serve them, they want life handed to them, as Dad used to say, “On a silver platter.”!

Our kids are making their own way……….Greg managing 10 restaurants in the Denver area living his dream, Gretchen out in Mule Shoe Texas living alone and working at the Wildlife Refuge living her dream and attending Eastern NM University.Stephannie working in physics for a research business in Denver living her dream, Mike working in Denver in computer support for Dish network, he is not where he wants to be yet in his career, but he will get there. Lars at Columbia College living his dream in studying Cinematography and he now has his own apartment!!!! All 5 kid’s are doing extremely well, PRAISE GOD! They are all growing at their own speed in their relationship with Jesus Christ.

“You will fail at merging a family together.” That one really hurt me and Sharon!! But look above what I just wrote!!!! PRAISE GOD!!! All things are possible through Jesus Christ! Our home is built on the rock of Jesus Christ! It was and is, only possible with Jesus Christ.

It has been a journey, and continues to be a journey, it of course was and is not easy, only with Jesus we go forth in His strength and wisdom.

This is the key in our house………Thanking the Lord for my wife Sharon who stands by me everyday. Thanking the Lord for a hard working wife…….she put’s in a very hard day everyday as an RN. Patients love her for her Godly attitude! Thanking God for a Women of God who has great patients, a Women of God who has a peaceful presence, some say Sharon is so quiet……yes she is, but inside God is speaking to her and in her Godly manner she carries out Godly discernment. I have learned much from Sharon, my friend Tom Johnson says, “Sharon is a strong Women.”……….yes she is, people make the mistake of underestimating her Godly strength, she has been through much in life that has made her stronger, besides I am the loud mouth of the family!!!!!!!!!!! As Friend Chuck Bates says, “You say enough for the both of you, Dewey!” LOL LOL!

Sharon has taught me that words are not always the answer, being quiet, is often the best answer.

One final note on my comments about Sharon.When I wrote briefly about her this past weekend on Facebook, I got the most replies I have ever had on Facebook, mostly from Women. That told me guys, that we need to affirm our wives more! AMEN!

I still can also remember those few in my life who offered me nothing but discouragement, “Oh you won’t make it in radio.” Well 34 years later I am still chugging along!

I have to say, what is missing much with father’s is the discernment of Jesus Christ. Nothing is possible without the discernment that Jesus offers us. You see all this drama in the World? Much caused by the lack of discernment. To have discernment you have to have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, plain and simple.

I meet to many, who say they are Christian, but they go off on their own “feelings” and not Christ given discernment.

If more so called Christians would use Christ given discernment we would have a much better world.

So many thrive on Drama, Drama that sucks out energy from families, Churches, Businesses. Drama is not have Jesus Christ.

June 5, 2012. Surrendering your life to God brings His kingdom into your life. Wise are those who know they are not the masters of their lives. Your goals in life are not your own, but rather your goals are to say what He says and do what He does. Take then this opportunity to yield and be at peace with your Maker. Thank you for stopping by for this late CUP!! I got called away from the Ranch early this morning!

Jesus says “Truly, truly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do, he will also; and greater works than these he will do.”

AMEN!

This is not a verse we hear preached on much, not sure why. Jesus makes it pretty straightforward. Maybe some Preachers have a difficult time believing that something that sounds so good could actually be true.. Yet Jesus plainly said, if you believe in Him, you are going to do stuff that even He didn’t get to do on earth. Tony Evans in his book, Kingdom Man says this is a POWERFUL reality that you don’t want to miss! That is Kingdom Truth! We must have FAITH my friends……We must believe the promises of God.

God is not opposed to greatness. God is opposed to pride.

One area where I Praise God I have grown so much in is discernment! OH MY!!!! It is one of the greatest gifts the Lord gives us!!! Holy Spirit thank YOU! I am so thankful for this gift, it keeps me out of trouble, keeps me from doing something stupid! The Lord speaks to me, guides me throughout my day….not letting my flesh take over………The Discernment of our Lord is lacking in our society!

Here is John MacArthur of Grace to You weekdays on KKIM at 8:30am…….

In its simplest definition, discernment is nothing more than the ability to decide between truth and error, right and wrong. Discernment is the process of making careful distinctions in our thinking about truth. In other words, the ability to think with discernment is synonymous with an ability to think biblically.
First Thessalonians 5:21-22 teaches that it is the responsibility of every Christian to be discerning: “But examine everything carefully; hold fast to that which is good; abstain from every form of evil.” The apostle John issues a similar warning when he says, “Do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God; because many false prophets have gone out into the world” (1 John 4:1). According to the New Testament, discernment is not optional for the believer-it is required.
The key to living an uncompromising life lies in one’s ability to exercise discernment in every area of his or her life. For example, failure to distinguish between truth and error leaves the Christian subject to all manner of false teaching. False teaching then leads to an unbiblical mindset, which results in unfruitful and disobedient living-a certain recipe for compromise.
Unfortunately, discernment is an area where most Christians stumble. They exhibit little ability to measure the things they are taught against the infallible standard of God’s Word, and they unwittingly engage in all kinds of unbiblical decision-making and behavior. In short, they are not armed to take a decidedly biblical stand against the onslaught of unbiblical thinking and attitudes that face them throughout their day.
Discernment intersects the Christian life at every point. And God’s Word provides us with the needed discernment about every issue of life. According to Peter, God “has granted to us everything pertaining to life and godliness, through the true knowledge of Him who called us by His own glory and excellence” (2 Peter 1:3). You see, it is through the “true knowledge of Him,” that we have been given everything we need to live a Christian life in this fallen world. And how else do we have true knowledge of God but through the pages of His Word, the Bible? In fact, Peter goes on to say that such knowledge comes through God’s granting “to us His precious and magnificent promises” (2 Peter 1:4).
Discernment — the ability to think biblically about all areas of life — is indispensable to an uncompromising life. It is incumbent upon the Christian to seize upon the discernment that God has provided for in His precious truth! Without it, Christians are at risk of being “tossed here and there by waves, and carried about by every wind of doctrine” (Ephesians 4:14).

I was so blessed to take part in the Festival of Love in Los Lunas . This Revival headed up by Pastor Jim Montoya was so AWESOME! I Preached on God and The United States of America! WOW! BABY!!! Left my voice in Los Lunas and found it this morning!!! the FIRE of the HOLY SPIRIT was roaring away!!!!!!!!!!!!! AMEN!!!!!!!!!!!!!

God Morning Dewey, i have a prayer request. Laurie Johnson Lund from Windom has been recently diagnosed with ovarian cancer. She is the youngest daughter of Johnson Hardware family, anyways, I have had her on my heart the past month, you see they have a cabin next to my sister place on fish lake and yesterday when i was out at fish lake i was able to walk over and talk to her. It was then that she told me of her battle she is just beginning . This morning at 9 am she begins her second chemo treatment. She is a beautiful woman of God and believes in the power of prayer, i was blessed to hold her in prayer yesterday afternoon and told her i would bring other prayer warriors on board. please post in the DDC her need for prayer for strength to keep the faith, for God to deliver her from this disease, that God puts a hedge of protection around her from a guy that has been making her life totally miserable, that her friends and family step up to help her in this time of need. I am looking forward to reading bout the revival preaching .. Randal Thom

Dearest Dewey, just catching up on my reading. Oh Dewey, this ‘Cup’ was Not Uncomfortable to read. It was Full of Truth’… We as a Nation have to first off Start with ourself, each and every individual must look at themself.. then our Town, the our State, Then our Nation. But to leave our Lord out of it is Senseless… The decisions made lately in D.C. is Beside me too Dewey. But as my husband has said, the pendlum always swings. And somehow that gives me hope. I Know this Nation was built on Christian Values. We must have faith as a Nation to repent and do away with the Evil of this World. ….. But Truth Never makes me Uncomfortable Dewey. Un-Truth Always DOES… TY for the Truth!! God’s Peace

An Update on my Boy Ron and his Friend Jim.. I say Boy! he will always be my ‘Baby Boy’. No matter his age! He has given me two Wonderful Grandchildren that are in their Twenties, but He is still my baby boy! 🙂 …. We made it home and even tho Ron is Not Talking to anyone, he’s not ready to talk about the accident or Hear them tell their horrible Accident Stories, his mind is on his friend and His Hard Road that is changing his entire Life.. My son has the reputation of having a Heart bigger than Himself. He crys and Laughs with people, as tho he feels the pain himself. He has almost Never driven Past a car that is broken-down on the road. He is just a Good Man. Of course ‘I’ have always known it, but People go out of their way to Tell me all the time what a Good Man he is, so others see it also…. Our Lord has had Mercy on Him again, And I can NOT Praise Him enough for that miracle! Ron may still lose the ends of his fingers, but he feels that is so Unimportant.. He refuses to take Pain Pills, he is taking Advil, with a Smashed Hand! that is in a cast.. I must be a total Wimp Dewey! 🙂 that makes me cringe. I cry over a bruised toe I just dropped a Pot on!! 🙂 ….. Jim will come to a Rehab Hosp. not two blocks from his home! and it has a Great reputation. His wife will be right there for him, as will all his friends and family. Ron is already planning on getting Jim’s home ready for him. Jim and him have already gotten the plans going!! Them being in Construction, Ron told him ‘he’ll do it’…. I guess they have people that will come to his home and walk thru it with Ron and tell him what to do to make it ‘Wheelchair friendly’. … Well, I will stop this ‘Book’..:) All my Love, and TY Prayer Warriors!! Once more a Nightmare has been touched by the Peacefulness that Only Our Lord can Bring to us!.. God’s Peace, Sam

When I Preached Sunday at the Revival I spoke also on the Holy Spirit and that recent survey’s show from 45% TO 65% Christians do not believe in the Holy Spirit, How can you call yourself a Christian if you do not believe in the Holy Spirit? This is great from Billy Graham………..

The Holy Spirit is not an “it.” The Holy Spirit is a Person. The Bible says that He is not something, He is Someone. He is God. There are three Persons in the Trinity—God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit.

The Bible teaches that the Holy Spirit is all-powerful. We read in Micah 3:8, “I am full of power by the Spirit of the Lord.” The Bible says that God is present everywhere. No matter where we go, He is there. “Where can I go from Your Spirit? Or where can I flee from Your presence?” (Psalm 139:7). The Holy Spirit can be in both your heart and my heart, even though we may live a thousand miles apart.

The Holy Spirit has all knowledge. The Bible says, “The Spirit searches all things, yes, the deep things of God” (1 Corinthians 2:10). It is the Holy Spirit who teaches us and takes us deeper and deeper into God’s truth as we go along in our Christian life. We are to grow in the grace and knowledge of Christ, but we can grow only by the help of the Holy Spirit.

The moment that we receive Christ as Savior, the Holy Spirit comes to live in our hearts. Our body becomes the temple of the Holy Spirit, and the Holy Spirit helps us live the Christian life. There is not a person anywhere who can be a Christian without the Holy Spirit. There is not a person who can follow Christ without the help of the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit sees everything that goes on. He knows what goes on in our hearts. He knows what goes on in our minds. Nothing is hidden from Him. And in Hebrews 9:14 the Bible says that the Holy Spirit is eternal.

The Spirit is called holy. The Bible says, “Be holy; for I am holy” (1 Peter 1:16). And one of the Holy Spirit’s ministries is to help make us holy. We ought to be more holy today than we were yesterday. We should always be conforming more to the image of Jesus Christ, and it is the Holy Spirit who helps us in this growing process.

Conviction of Sin

First, the work of the Holy Spirit is to convict us of our sin. Jesus said, “And when He has come, He will convict the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment” (John 16:8). The Holy Spirit uses a mother’s prayers, a tragic experience, a pastor’s sermon or some other experience to convict us of sin and of our need to turn our lives over to Jesus Christ. He points to us and says, “You are a sinner. You need to repent.” We don’t like to hear that, but that is the work of the Holy Spirit. Without that work we could never have our sins forgiven. We could never be saved. We could never go to Heaven.

New Life

Second, the Holy Spirit gives new life. The Bible says that we are dead in sins and trespasses. Our spirit within us, made in the image of God, is dead toward God. Mankind needs life. All have sinned. Therefore, all are dead toward God. The Holy Spirit gives us new life in Jesus Christ. Jesus said, “Unless one is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God” (John 3:3). You must be born again. And the Holy Spirit is the One who does the work of making you a born-again person. It is a supernatural act.

Paul said to Titus, “Not by works of righteousness which we have done but according to His mercy He saved us, through the washing of regeneration and renewing of the Holy Spirit” (Titus 3:5). Our good works and all the good things that we have done are not going to save us. We are saved by the mercy of God, by the grace of God. It is something I didn’t earn, something I didn’t work for. It is the gift of God, the gift of salvation.

Indwelling Spirit

Third, the Holy Spirit indwells us. Many of you are spiritually dead and are completely immersed in our hedonistic culture. God says, “I will put my Spirit in you. I will come to live in you.” Your body becomes the temple where God dwells by His Holy Spirit.

That is the reason we should never take anything unclean into our bodies. That is the reason we should discipline our bodies. God loves your body. He doesn’t want it polluted by fleshly lusts and the things to which you give yourself. The Bible says, “Do you not know that you are the temple of God and that the Spirit of God dwells in you?” (1 Corinthians 3:16).

Power to Serve Christ

Fourth, the Holy Spirit gives you power to serve Christ. “You shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me” (Acts 1:8). I couldn’t do the work I am doing without the power of the Holy Spirit. I am a communicator of God’s message. He called me and gave me that gift. What counts is the message that—according to Scripture—Christ died for our sins, He rose again, He is coming back again and He is ready to come into your heart by the Holy Spirit and make you a new person. That is the Gospel.

The Holy Spirit produces the fruit of the Spirit, which is “love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control” (Galatians 5:22-23). There are people whom you may not be able to love easily. But the Holy Spirit will give you the power to love them. Love is the greatest evidence that you know Christ. The Holy Spirit can love through you.

There are times I feel that I don’t have joy, and I get on my knees and say, “Lord, where is the fruit of joy in my life?” I find that the joy is there, down deep. It is a deep river. Whatever the circumstances, there is a river of joy.

The peace that passes understanding comes from the Holy Spirit. Whatever the circumstances, I have peace in my heart. I know where I am going, I know where I have been. And I know why I am here—by the Holy Spirit.

Do you know Christ? The Holy Spirit comes to magnify, to glorify and to exalt the Son. Jesus said the Holy Spirit shall not speak of Himself. He comes to magnify the Lord Jesus Christ. He comes to glorify Jesus Christ (John 16:13-14). And the Holy Spirit is pleased when you glorify Christ in your life.

It is the Holy Spirit who draws you to Christ. It is the Holy Spirit who convicts you of your need of Christ. There is only one way of salvation, and that is Christ. It is a dangerous thing to resist the Spirit. “Anyone who has rejected Moses’ law dies without mercy on the testimony of two or three witnesses. Of how much worse punishment, do you suppose, will he be thought worthy who has trampled the Son of God underfoot, counted the blood of the covenant by which he was sanctified a common thing, and insulted the Spirit of grace?” (Hebrews 10:28–29).

I am asking you to give in to the call of the Holy Spirit. I am asking you to say, “I want Christ in my life, to be my Lord and my Savior.” I know thousands of churchgoers who need to come to Christ, led by the Holy Spirit. You need to say, “I want Christ in my heart.” Say, “I want to know I am going to Heaven. I want my sins forgiven. I want to start a new life.”

The devil has one main goal: to turn us away from God and instead make us his slaves. And he will do everything he possibly can to achieve this goal. This is why the Bible commands us to “Put on the full armor of God so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes” (Ephesians 6:11).
Yes, temptation is certainly one of the devil’s main weapons — and it takes many different forms. He’ll try, for example, to tempt us with sins of the flesh — immorality, pleasure-seeking, destructive habits, and so forth. But if those don’t work he’ll tempt us with sins of the heart or mind — evil thoughts, wrong motives, anger, jealousy, and so forth. He’ll also attack us spiritually — trying to fill us with doubts, attempting to convince us that God doesn’t care about us, filling us with pride, and so forth.
How can we combat his schemes? The first step is to be sure that we have given our lives to Christ. When we come to Him we are no longer citizens of Satan’s kingdom; we are now citizens of the Kingdom of God! Let this great truth strengthen you every day.
In addition, when Satan tempts you, recognize it for what it is: an attempt to turn you away from God. Then combat his lies with the truth of God’s Word, and with prayer, and with the help of other believers. The Bible says, “Submit yourselves, then, to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you” (James 4:7).

Fact: It doesn’t have to. Taking insulin injections does require that you plan ahead according to your diet and physical activity levels, but people living with diabetes who take insulin can still travel, eat out, and live very active and independent lives. Speak to a diabetes educator if you’re concerned about how taking insulin fits into your life.

Myth: Insulin Makes Your Blood Sugar Too Low
Fact: It can. The concerns about hypoglycemia are valid, but you can avoid this potential side effect of insulin by learning the symptoms of low blood sugar and treating it promptly. Ask your diabetes educator for tips to avoid low blood sugar when taking insulin.

True or False: You Should Wait as Long as Possible to Start on Insulin
Fact: Earlier may be better. A recent study in the journal Diabetes Care suggests that starting type 2 diabetes patients on insulin at lower A1c levels (8.2% vs. 9.2%) improves their chances of reaching an A1c goal of 7% and increasing their glycemic response. Ask your doctor if starting insulin sooner – even before your blood sugar has spiked into extremely unhealthy ranges – can help get your blood sugar under control faster so you can meet your blood glucose goals.

Keep your focus on Me but keep him in the corner of your eyes so that his wiles will not trip you up. He will try every trick to keep you from overcoming the obstacle to your victory, and from encouraging others how they too can overcome. Yesterday was a tough day….it drained me…….it pained me………to bring this story forward…….Can you even imagine voting for the killing of a baby? Yesterday was a very, very dark day in American History with our House of Representatives giving the approval of killing babies. They do not know what they just did. President Obama just shook his fist at God again……….My Dear friends, As Pastor Bill Ruhl said last night on NM News and Views, “America is at the tipping edge…we are hanging over the cliff.” My questions is, Does much of America know what just occurred? Does the Church know?

Here in New Mexico Rep Steve Pearce voted for the bill as expected and sadly as expected Rep. Lujan voted for the right to kill babies and Rep. Heinrich did not even vote!

Wherever you are drinking this CUP, I encourage you to know how your Representatives voted in your state.

How do people that are for killing babies ever get into office?

What has happened to the Body of Christ?

What has happened to a lot of Pastor’s on this issue of killing God’s Children?

It is time for many in the Church to do a gut check.

A bill that would ban sex-selective abortions failed to muster enough support to pass the House Thursday following a contentious debate.
The final vote was 246-168. Though a majority voted in favor of the bill, this particular proposal required a two-thirds majority to pass — supporters of the bill fell 30 votes short.
The proposal would have made it a federal crime to carry out an abortion based on the gender of the fetus. The measure takes aim at the aborting of female fetuses, a practice more common to countries such India and China, where there is a strong preference for sons, but which is also thought to take place in the U.S.
The White House and Democratic lawmakers opposed the bill out of concern that it could end up subjecting doctors to strict punishment, suggesting the law would be difficult to follow.
“The administration opposes gender discrimination in all forms, but the end result of this legislation would be to subject doctors to criminal prosecution if they fail to determine the motivations behind a very personal and private decision,” White House Press Secretary Jay Carney said Thursday.
But GOP lawmakers pointed to the opposition as further proof of the administration’s abortion advocacy.
“It is inconceivable to me how our Nobel Prize-winning president can refuse to protect little girls from the violence of sex-selection abortion,” Rep. Chris Smith, R-N.J., said Thursday.
Bill sponsor Rep. Trent Franks, R-Ariz., said “there has never been a more pro-abortion president in the White House … I’m astonished the leader of the free world would fail to protect the unborn from being aborted on the basis of sex.”
The mainly Republican supporters of the bill characterized the vote as a sex-discrimination issue at a time when Democrats are accusing Republicans of waging a war on women. A day before the vote, Planned Parenthood also launched an ad against GOP presidential candidate Mitt Romney accusing him of planning to “deny women the right to make their own medical decisions.”
The legislation would have made it a federal offense, subject to up to five years in prison, to perform, solicit funds to perform or coerce a woman into a sex-selection abortion. Bringing a woman into the country to obtain such an abortion would also be punishable by up to five years in prison.
Franks and others say there is evidence of sex-selection abortions in the United States among certain ethnic groups from countries where there is a traditional preference for sons. The bill notes that countries such as India and China, where the practice has contributed to lopsided boy-girl ratios, have enacted bans on the practice.
But the Guttmacher Institute, an organization that favors abortion rights, said evidence of sex selection in the United States is limited and inconclusive. It said that while there is census data showing some evidence of son preference among Chinese-, Indian- and Korean-American families when older children are daughters, the overall U.S. sex ratio at birth in 2005 was 105 boys to 100 girls, “squarely within biologically normal parameters.”
Marcia Greenberger, co-president of the National Women’s Law Center, said the bill fosters discrimination by “subjecting women from certain racial and ethnic backgrounds to additional scrutiny about their decision to terminate a pregnancy.”
President Obama and his comrades are playing God. Our Government with this approval is taking on a Hitler like Government.

The pro-life group Live Action released a second undercover video Thursday revealing a counselor from the Margaret Sanger Planned Parenthood clinic in New Yew York City discussing sex-selective abortion, also known as gendercide, with a client.
The video shows a counselor, Randi Coun, discussing the test to determine the baby’s sex with a Live Action decoy.
Coun spends several minutes with the client but never tells her that the test brings with it a 1-in-100 chance of miscarriage.
She went on to describe abortions, even at a later term, as “safe” but only more “complicated.”
“I can tell you, here at Planned Parenthood we believe it’s not up to us to decide what is a good or bad reason for somebody to decide to terminate a pregnancy,” Coun tells the actor.
The video emerged the same day House members voted on the Prenatal Nondiscrimination Act (PRENDA) which would ban doctors from performing abortions based on the child’s gender.
Live Action’s first video released Tuesday showed a Planned Parenthood counselor out of Austin Texas advising a woman on how to obtain a sex-selective abortions.
After its release, Planned Parenthood claimed to have fired the staffer for not following the organization’s protocol.
Live Action said several studies in the past four years point to thousands of “missing girls” in America due to the sex-selective practice.

We must not give up..Some in the Church head for the Hills when Abortion is talked about……..BUT we must stand for God here on earth until HE returns. We must be Salt and Light, carrying out the Great Commission and bringing others into a relationship with Jesus Christ. Is this the World that you want your children and their children to grow up in?

How many Doctor’s have we killed? How many of of these babies were anointed by God to cure cancer? How many were to be Presidents of the United States? How many were to grow up and be Pastor’s?

We complain about issues that we want solved, we may have killed the solution.

 My son tho has woke up very uncomfortable, his poor body has been thru ‘Shock, Pain, and Heartbreak for his Friend’.. Maybe all of it is taking it’s toll….maybe another day here in the desert.
 Dewey, I am so very Thankful to Our Lord for Loving these Two Good Men SOOO much that he Got Their Total Attention! Lets All Pray they Hear, Listen and Obey HIM who has not only Saved them from Damnation but has Stopped them in their Tracks to Hear HIS calm and Loving Voice!!

June 1, 2012. Thirty seven years and one day mark the official day my family moved from Tennessee to Texas. My dad had become Spirit-filled about forty years ago and felt led to lay aside a very successful career. He and my mom decided to take a major step of faith. My dad was starting a new ministry by faith and our whole family has never looked back. It has been an awesome journey to see God move on our behalf. The aroma of Jesus

When we receive Jesus, He, along with the Holy Spirit, comes to live inside of us. Our bodies are now the temple or dwelling place of God. But we are still stuck in a body of sin or flesh, which is in conflict with the indwelling presence of the life of Jesus inside of us. The life of Jesus, empowered by the indwelling of the Holy Spirit, is living on the inside of our earthen, vessel of flesh.
2 Corinthians 4: 7 But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, so that the surpassing greatness of the power will be of God and not from ourselves;

All followers of Jesus are His body disguised as earthen vessels. The problem is that most of us do to good of a job with our disguise. Our earthen vessel has Jesus so hidden that the world can’t see who is really on the inside of us. They only see our outer vessel of flesh and sin. God uses suffering to remove our flesh in order to reveal what is on the inside, which is the expanding life of Jesus. As our earthen vessel of flesh is broken off, piece by piece, Jesus expands.
2 Corinthians 12: 9 And He has said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for power is perfected in weakness.” Most gladly, therefore, I will rather boast about my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may dwell in me.

There is a story that symbolizes this concept, which is found in the book of Mark.
Mark 14: 3 While He was in Bethany at the home of Simon the leper, and reclining at the table, there came a woman with an alabaster vial of very costly perfume of pure nard; and she broke the vial and poured it over His head.

As long as the perfume was on the inside of the jar, no one could experience its fragrant aroma. It wasn’t until the earthen vessel was broken that the contents were available for all to experience. It is not until God breaks our earthen vessel of flesh that the world experiences the Jesus on the inside of us. It is in our brokenness that Jesus is released out of us for those around us to experience. When we are broken, we carry the aroma of Jesus with us everywhere we go.
2 Corinthians 2:14 But thanks be to God, who always leads us in triumph in Christ, and manifests through us the sweet aroma of the knowledge of Him in every place.

WHAT HAPPENS IN HEAVEN WHEN WE PRAY?

This is one of the nicest e-mails I have seen and is so true:
I dreamt that I went to Heaven and an angel was showing me around. We walked side-by-side inside a large workroom filled with angels. My angel guide stopped in front of the first section and said, ‘ This is the Receiving Section. Here, all petitions to God said in prayer are received.

I looked around in this area, and it was terribly busy with so many angels sorting out petitions written on voluminous paper sheets and scraps from people all over the world.

Then we moved on down a long corridor until we reached the second section.

The angel then said to me, “This is the Packaging and Delivery Section. Here, the graces and blessings the people asked for are processed and delivered to the living persons who asked for them.” I noticed again how busy it was there.. There were many angels working hard at that station, since so many blessings had been requested and were being packaged for delivery to Earth.

Finally at the farthest end of the long corridor we stopped at the door of a very small station. To my great surprise, only one angel was seated there, idly doing nothing. “This is the Acknowledgment Section, my angel friend quietly admitted to me. He seemed embarrassed.” How is it that there is no work going on here? ‘ I asked.

“So sad,” the angel sighed. “After people receive the blessings that they asked for, very few send back acknowledgments”

“How does one acknowledge God’s blessings? ” I asked..

“Simple,” the angel answered. Just say, “Thank you, Lord. ”

“What blessings should they acknowledge?” I asked.

“If you have food in the refrigerator, clothes on your back, a roof overhead and a place to sleep you are richer than 75% of this world. If you have money in the bank, in your wallet, and spare change in a dish, you are among the top 8% of the world’s wealthy. ”

“And if you get this on your own computer, you are part of the 1% in the world who has that opportunity.”

“If you woke up this morning with more health than illness .. You are more blessed than the many who will not even survive this day. ”

“If you have never experienced the fear in battle, the loneliness of imprisonment, the agony of torture, or the pangs of starvation … You are ahead of 700 million people in the world.”

“If you can attend a church without the fear of harassment, arrest, torture or death you are envied by, and more blessed than, three billion people in the world.”
“If your parents are still alive and still married ….you are very rare..”

“If you can hold your head up and smile, you are not the norm, you’re unique to all those in doubt and despair…….”

Ok, what now? How can I start?

If you can read this message, you just received a double blessing in that someone was thinking of you as very special and you are more blessed than over two billion people in the world who cannot read at all.

If you take insulin to manage diabetes, you’ve probably wondered if insulin can make you gain weight or affect your quality of life. It shouldn’t. Insulin is safe and effective when used properly. Here are some myths about insulin that can be cleared up for you:

Fact: Not necessarily. Insulin can stimulate your appetite, but you can prevent weight gain by eating more fruit, vegetables, and high-fiber foods (e.g., beans and whole grains), taking fish oil capsules, and by exercising more. These strategies help control your weight and keep your blood sugar level down.
 
True or False: Taking Insulin Means Your Diabetes Is Out of Control
Fact: No way! Type 2 diabetes is a progressive disease that can’t be cured, and if you have type 1 diabetes, you must take insulin. If your pancreas can no longer produce enough insulin, and other medications don’t work to control your blood sugar, it’s normal for your doctor to write an insulin prescription. It’s not your fault.
 
True or False: Insulin Injections Hurt
Fact: The needles used to inject insulin are very thin and relatively painless. Many people who take insulin say the injections with an insulin syringe hurt less than finger pricks to monitor blood glucose. If you’re afraid of needles, ask your doctor about effective strategies that can help you overcome needle phobias.
 
True or False: It’s OK to reuse syringes
Fact: Maybe. Since it’s difficult to guarantee reused insulin syringes are sterile, most syringe manufacturers recommend using syringes only once. However, if your doctor agrees to it, insulin syringes can be reused to save money. Keep in mind that syringe needles can become dull after one or more uses, which makes injections more painful. If you reuse syringes, be sure to follow the safety guidelines your doctor recommends. Never share syringes or reuse them if you’re sick. They carry a very high risk of infection.
 
True or False: Insulin Should Always Be Refrigerated
Fact: Not always. As a general rule, store unopened bottles of insulin in the fridge and keep the vial you’re currently using at room temperature. Injecting chilled insulin can be a bit more painful. Some types of insulin can stay at room temperature for days and still be effective. Ask your doctor or pharmacist how to store your particular type of insulin. Never use insulin past its expiration date.
