Dear KKIM/KARS family,

May the Strength, Peace and Wisdom of our LORD be with you and yours forever and ever!

Please pray for my travels to Magdelena, NM to Preach this Sunday at the First Baptist Church and then to  Dallas next week to the Time to Revive(Kyle Martin is the host, this is a Radio Ministry that got it’s start on KKIM!) Ministry Board meeting. Then onto Minnesota in mid August to visit Uncle Joe my mentor who helped lead me to become a Pastor and then to Wisconsin to visit with my brother Daryl who I have not seen in 10 years and PRAISE GOD, Daryl has asked me to baptize him. Please pray for this Ministry road, this road that I am on everyday, trying to serve our Lord, to do what the Lord wants me to do………Please pray for Daryl. My prayer everyday is for BREAK THROUGHS for the LORD everyday……turning darkness into light under the POWER of the HOLY SPIRIT!

My life is worth nothing unless I use it for doing the work assigned me by the Lord Jesus. Acts 20:24 AMEN! PRAISE GOD!

And I really mean it……my life is WORTH NOTHING unless it is about our Fathers Business!

There are so many needs out in the world………

We have an increase in calls to KKIM/KARS from people in need…..mostly people just asking for prayer……more now than ever, people looking for a job….New Mexico has lost 17,800 jobs over the last 12 months. That is about 4 times the size of my hometown. 17,800 is a City of people who have lost their jobs. We need to think of it in those means.

I just spoke to my Grandma.  She is home.  She just got there.  Praise God!

Grandma is home….Grandma is safe……..Our loved one is okay………That is the note Rita sent out after hearing her Grandma Lena got home from the hospital after suffering a stroke. PRAISE GOD! I talked to Lena yesterday and she has such a Godly Spirit!

Not all receive that good news……….

We have a prayer need for a friend that is very ill and getting weaker…….and yesterday as I was talking to Lena on the phone, Lavella Hickman was calling me on my cell……….and I answered it and she was crying……..it broke my heart……..she was calling to tell me that her husband Charlie was getting worse and now the Doctor thinks Charlie has MS, Let us be in prayer.

Here is a note I got from Chuck Swindoll………..

Ours is a world of enormous pain and endless hurt.

Every one of us knows someone who is enduring an intensely difficult time of physical or emotional trauma—or both. Maybe it’s even you?

The apostle Paul wrote extensively about the pain in this life. He endured sleeplessness, sickness, and hunger. He suffered at the hands of evil men many times. But in spite of his circumstances, Paul kept his eyes on Jesus, “For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory that is to be revealed to us” (Romans 8:18).

That was a timely note from Chuck heard weekdays on KKIM at 6:30am and 6:30pm

As Chuck encourages us,let us keep our eyes on Jesus. Pastor Garland Moore preached on that one Sunday and it really had an impact on me.

Let us look at Romans 8:9

But you are not in the flesh but in the Spirit, if indeed the Spirit of God dwells in you. Now if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, he is not HIS.

Let us go to verse 10…….

And if Christ is in you, the body is DEAD because of sin, but the SPIRIT is LIFE because of righteousness.

verse 11

But if the SPIRIT of HIM who raised JESUS from the DEAD dwells in you, HE who raised CHRIST from the DEAD will also give LIFE TO YOUR MORTAL BODIES through HIS SPIRIT who dwells in you.

jump ahead to verse 13…….

For if you live according to the flesh you will die; but if the Spirit you put to death the deeds of the body, you will live.

That for me is the bottom line………are we living with Christ or living in the flesh? Are we going to have eternal life with our Almighty Father……..or will we live in hell?

I really don’t know if this is Preached about enough in Church and talked about..It is not meant as Fire and Brimstone.it is meant as the TRUTH it is in God’s Word.

So let us keep our eye’s on Jesus……..I know that heaven is a prepared place………we just need to be prepared.

Just one more thing…………

Let me just share this from Chuck Swindoll on the Flesh and Spirit……….

There are two natures struggling for control in this world……”the Flesh”., our old nature, and “the Spirit,” the gift of God’s presence within us.

Existing in the flesh can involve a headlong pursuit of sin. After all, the flesh is hostile to God. (Picture that in your minds, my friends…in the flesh, Hostile to God) before we received His grace and before His Spirit took up residence within us, the flesh craved only evil. (What are you craving today? Our Lord Jesus Christ? or the flesh? evil doings? are you going through life in the energy of the flesh? darkness? or Light?)

Christians have been known to abandon themselves to wrongdoing for a variety of reasons. Some spectators would suggest they were not genuine believers at the time, but we can only speculate.

Those who train hard, expecting to leap into heaven under their own power, will “fall short.” That’s the old-nature of thinking.

So as we close this morning…..we have sorrow all around us……..Lovely people losing their loved ones…..but our faith is in our Lord Jesus Christ and eternal life with Him. Let us keep our eye’s on Jesus!

It is so hard to lose our loved ones here on earth…I talked to my friend Lee last night he just lost his wife of many, many years………and she is in heaven and he is here on earth………left alone……….and he misses his wife greatly…….

Let us pray for all those who have lost loved ones recently……….Let us pray for all those ill at this time………let us all pray for all those suffering right now, wether it is a job lost, or a marriage in trouble…….we all know people that are suffering, it may be you………Let us all keep our eyes on Jesus and the Promises that our Lord makes to us in His Word……yes they are promises and He never has broken one! Dive into the Lord’s Word today my friends, and let us ask ourselves what are we going to do today to point someone to Christ? Let us bring comfort to those around us. let us share with others about fleshly thinking….Let us be BOLD in our faith! In the name of Jesus, AMEN!

Here is a question for all of us………..

Does your Church empower you with the spiritual dynamic to fulfill the mission King Jesus died for me to fulfill? Or do you excuse yourself from the mission King Jesus commanded us to obey because it is outside your comfort zone?

We must my friends be about our Fathers Business………

HEADLINES: INSURANCE POOLS TO BAN ABORTION AID!!! PRAISE GOD!!

Joan Lamunyon Sanford, the Executive Dir. of the Albuquerque-based New Mexico Religious Coalition for Reproductive Choice, expressed dismay at the Obama administration’s order regarding the federally funded high-risk insurance pools.

“We’re morally outraged, Abortion care is health care, and it should not be excluded from any health care coverage.”

To look at Abortion as Health care? That is how dark the world is………

How is your relationship with God? Do you feel HIM lifting you HIGHER? I feel my friends that the Lord is lifting me into a higher relationship with HIM…….I also feel the spiritual battle………I want to so much serve my LORD…….

Ken Houts puts it this way……..

Going to a higher level always requires increased faith. (AMEN to that, I feel it) Going to a higher level will always require a spiritual battle–(I also feel that)—-because the higher the level, the bigger the devil. When we stop going from faith to faith, we stop experiencing the gospel of the Anointed King; we stop becoming like HIM. We were saved so that we could ascend to the heights of God’s vision for us. The only way to do that is to change and become like KING JESUS! AMEN! AMEN! PRAISE GOD!

Yesterday I was given the news that Dear, Dear friend Lena from our Church suffered a stroke, but later received good news from Pastor Jim Montoya……

Sister Lena Connelly is doing better from her stroke.  She was talking
and laughing.  Margaret and I prayed over her.
Great news.
Continue to keep her in ur prayers.
She is in Loveless 7th floor room 103.

Let us keep Lena in our prayers. She is so special, She is near 90 and is such a prayer warrior for all…..She has told me, “Dewey, I can’t do much anymore, but I spend my entire day praying for all.” WOW! She has called Sharon and I many times praying for us……The Lord has lifted Lena to such a level……it is so AWESOME! I also was attracted to Lena, as it was my Grandma LENA Caraway that always encouraged me to become a Pastor!

Now I am not kidding you when I say Lena spends most of her day in prayer……….

I have always said, give me a room full of widow’s and we will move mountains……..the faith of widow’s is so AWESOME! I hear from many widow’s who listen and support KKIM/KARS……they are such prayer warriors……..we can learn much from them!!!

Would you please join me in prayer for KKIM/KARS as we march on for our Lord……..the Lord has really shown us this message from Martin Luther King Jr……….

With God leading our ways we will continue to be Salt and Light……..

Last night on NM News and Views we talked about the needle exchange program going on in the Espanola area………Pastor Paul Holt sen this note to me……..

Dewey,
Similar to condom distribution, this needle exchange program enables and encourages sinful behavior.
As for Gov Richardson, there is no heart in the legislative branch to call for  impeachment nor is there a moral imperative. But we should continue to press the issue.
