As for GOD, His Way is Perfect

As we share a CUP this morning……a couple of things from longtime friend Darlene Quiring of Mt. Lake, Minn.

As for God, His way is perfect. He is a shield to all who trust in Him. My Rock, my Fortress & a place of safety. David was grateful for God’s provision. He knew that God’s way, though rocky & scary at times, is always perfect. We need God plus nothing, to make it through the worst, life can throw at us. God is our Rock & He will deliver us. He can be trusted & He is worthy to be praised. God didn’t deliver David from his trials but He walked with him through them. We will have trials & struggles. Expect them & learn from them. Although we don’t know what’s ahead, God does, so keep going. Keep trusting. “Trust & obey for there’s no other way, to be happy in Jesus, but to trust & obey.” Trusting! Obeying! Believing! Join me. No matter how clearly you might attempt to say something, someone will interpret it the way they want to hear it. So, I’m putting this in writing… ALL racism and “supremacy movements” have evil at their very core. It’s not a white, black, brown, or any other “color” issue. It’s a heart issue. “The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked. Who can know it?” (Jeremiah 17:9) The only cure is a real, personal relationship with Christ, period.

A Divine Appointment and a Blessing

We got this letter from Jessica and wanted to share God’s Glory with you all……as this is what ministry life is all about…….

Where do I begin…. I came across Pastor Dewey Moede on Facebook and his ministry For Gods Glory Alone. Meeting Pastor Dewey was divine appointment and a blessing. God knows what we need before we even know we need it and that includes the people who come into our lives. I’ve always enjoyed getting my emails from the ministry and praying for those who need it, from those who reach out to Dewey for prayer.

Well this has been great, Dewey really touched my heart through his ministry two years ago. You see, my dad passed away tragically. Being that Pastor Dewey and I were Facebook friends he saw my posts and a lot had to do with my dad and the love we shared as a Father and Daughter. So when my dad passed away, Pastor Dewey reached out to me and one of the hardest times in my life. Losing my dad threw me for a loop. Pastor Dewey reached out many times to me and offered prayer, supports and resources when I was grieving. My grieving at times was unhealthy and Dewey interceded in prayer and offered encouragement and words of wisdom. He also wrote a beautiful story of my dad, myself and the loss but the love we shared. I’m forever grateful to have such a man filled with the love of Christ come into my life.

Now when others are experiencing a difficult time, I reach out because I know how much this ministry helped me during one of the most difficult times in my life. I also see how he touches others and impacts the lives of many.

May God bless your ministry and continue to flourish and bring all the people needed by your love across your path.

Thank You For 20 Years!!!

The Daily CUP is 20 years young! For God’s Glory Alone Ministries which was birthed out of the Daily Cup turns 5 today!!! PTL!!! AWESOME!!!

Donate Here This quote by Charles Stanley really sums up one of the key things I have learned over the years! “Whatever God calls you to do, He expects you to do it with all your heart!” Today marks the 5th Anniversary of For God’s Glory Alone, that is the name that God gave me when he pulled me out of full-time radio ministry! The journey has been so very AWESOME!!!!!

God also then gave me my life verse as Sharon and I stated on this path at FGGAM……

“But my life is worth nothing to me unless I use it for finishing the work assigned me by the Lord Jesus—the work of telling others the Good News about the wonderful grace of God.” -Acts 20:24

Sharon and I are but, two, but we are all sold out for God giving all we can to this effort. Will you help us? June and July were very slow for love offerings. Please pray about helping us.

Very cool that I saw this quote by Charles Stanley today, as his ministry supports us with books and other materials to help us in our calling from the Lord.

Thanks to all of you who have helped us for the past 5 years, through your prayers, giving, wisdom, advice, writing for FGGAM……we love you all!

FGGAM has reached millions over this time for our Lord Jesus Christ, through this website, preaching, revivals, podcasts, radio, tv, newspaper, counseling, hospital visits, etc. PTL!!!! All for God!

Please pray about a monthly love offering, we are not a fancy dancy ministry, we pour everything into the Kingdom. FGGAM is a 501C3 non-profit ministry.

We have an awesome Board of Directors and also an advisory board that hold us accountable.

Congratulations FGGAM and Dewey Moede as we celebrate 5 years of ministry! I continue to “thank my God upon every remembrance of you” (Philippians 1:3).

I stand in awe of God’s divine connections. My friend, Shona Neff, introduced me to Dewey Moede more than six years ago. Since then, Dewey has encouraged me and provided a platform for me to share my God-given calling.

Dewey shared in his History of the Founding of FGGAM about how he counsels. He has counseled me through one of the toughest seasons of my life. And he didn’t stop after I recovered from that trauma. He taught me how to disciple others and walk with them during their difficult seasons.

Thank you Pastor Dewey for the time you invested in me as now I pay it forward sharing the love of Jesus with the hurting.

The FGGAM website touches thousands of people around the world with news and inspiration every month. The number of hits some posts receive just blow my mind. But then I remember, nothing is impossible for God!

As Dr. Michelle Bengtson stated in her birthday post, “Dewey’s passion to set people free is contagious.” I concur as I also desire to see people set free from the bondages that the enemy places on the families of those impacted by incarceration.

I’m thankful to be part of the FGGAM inspirational writing team where I can share hope of Christ with those all around the world.

Congratulations on 5 years of ministry!

Here’s my closing prayer for Pastor Dewey and FGGAM:

“And God will generously provide all you need. Then you will always have everything you need and plenty left over to share with others” (2 Cor 9:8 NLT).

The Authority of Our Message

1 Kings 17:1

After encountering the prophet Elijah, King Ahab may well have thought, Of all the nerve! Just who does this guy think he is? Bursting onto the scene as if out of nowhere, Elijah confronted Israel’s wicked king with a message that would soon disrupt life throughout the region.

The validity of the prophecy rested with the Source, not the mouthpiece. Elijah was a man of great faith who spent time alone with the Lord and listened to Him carefully. The prophet could pass the message on with boldness and authority because he knew and trusted the One from whom it came.

We can’t expect our Father to communicate with us in exactly the same way that He spoke to the Old Testament prophets, but the process of receiving His message hasn’t changed. It starts with being alone in His presence and listening as He speaks through His Word. But it shouldn’t end there.

Prophets had the responsibility of telling the people what the Lord revealed to them. Similarly, we’re to share with others what we learn from God’s Word. Devotional time with the Lord is not just about our own interests and needs. The Father reveals His truths to us so we can share them with others.

Begin each day alone with God in His Word and in prayer, listening as He speaks to your heart. Believe what He says in Scripture, apply it to your life, and then share with someone else what He has revealed. Be bold and remember that the authority of your message comes from Him.
