As we share a CUP this morning……a couple of things from longtime friend Darlene Quiring of Mt. Lake, Minn.
As for God, His way is perfect. He is a shield to all who trust in Him. My Rock, my Fortress & a place of safety. David was grateful for God’s provision. He knew that God’s way, though rocky & scary at times, is always perfect. We need God plus nothing, to make it through the worst, life can throw at us. God is our Rock & He will deliver us. He can be trusted & He is worthy to be praised. God didn’t deliver David from his trials but He walked with him through them. We will have trials & struggles. Expect them & learn from them. Although we don’t know what’s ahead, God does, so keep going. Keep trusting. “Trust & obey for there’s no other way, to be happy in Jesus, but to trust & obey.” Trusting! Obeying! Believing! Join me. He will make a way! Thanks Marilyn Ashworth Nelson
No matter how clearly you might attempt to say something, someone will interpret it the way they want to hear it. So, I’m putting this in writing… ALL racism and “supremacy movements” have evil at their very core. It’s not a white, black, brown, or any other “color” issue. It’s a heart issue. “The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked. Who can know it?” (Jeremiah 17:9) The only cure is a real, personal relationship with Christ, period.
