This morning I want to share with you a letter Sharon and I got yesterday in the mail, not email, but US POSTAL MAIL! I love to get mail! The following letter is from a missionary couple that heard me Preach Sunday at Rock Rio in Rio Rancho…….

Thank you for blessing Rock Rio Christian Center with you presence and the word from the Lord! Thank you for being a “watchman on the wall.” For loving the body of Christ enough to be truthful and exhort and admonish where needed. Thank you for your love for lost souls and being obedient to the calling the Lord has placed on your lives! We know it comes at a great cost. THANK YOU and THANK YOU from Jesus!!

After Sundays Message the Pastor Tom Bozone walked up to the alter and said with his head down, Okay, I can take that….okay….I can handle that……then his head rose and he said thank you for the message ……well delivered.

Also after I preached a man came up to me and said,” I have listened to you for years on radio and TV and I am so pleased to hear and see you in person and you are who you say you are, thank you!”

We share this with you all to show you what our LORD is doing! WE BOAST IN OUR LORD NOT OURSELVES!!!!! For God’s Glory Alone we bring forth HIS good news! AMEN!

The Lord is sending us much affirmation! Yesterday I was on Diane Markins radio program in Phoenix talking about FGGAM and other items! She calls her program “BOLD LIVING” Like we do here at FGGAM! PRAISE GOD!

This Boldness in Jesus Christ leads me to this…..we need from $1,500 to $2,000 more in monthly support. That is all, that’s crazy. I am praying for one person or one couple to fund this. I believe in miracles.

I try to share with you all what FGGAM is doing, but I can’ tell you everything because I don’t have the time and you don’t have the time. But I pray from what I post about FGGAM you see us as worthy of your support. God Bless you and yours forever and ever.

I want to repeat this from yesterdays CUP as it hit the core of many……..Sharon is our researcher here at FGGAM and since 1988 Doctors have increased prescription drugs for depression 400%!!!! Pain meds have increased dramatically also in our society! We are living in a depressed Country! That is why I believe yesterdays core message hit to the core……..

How we live makes a difference as to what we hear…….WOW! Read that again! Right there is why we as a world are in such trouble……people are hearing Nothing noise, hearing the darkness speak Jesus into their lives!

A believer can live what most would characterize as a normal Christian life and still be in error, because he is not listening to the Spirit! AMEN! Preach it! AMEN!

We can never get enough education, enough experience, to live Independently of the Holy Spirit! AMEN AMEN!

He must give us the mind of Christ…….you see there is the key..do you have the mind of Christ?

Do you see the world from HIS perspective?

The Word of God and the Holy Spirit will show you Christ’s perspective if you give in…….

He is not going to speak until we admit that apart from His genuine work in our lives, we are helpless to receive anything from Him.

So when you see and hear the darkness…..you know why they are absent from the Light of Christ!

It is our responsibility to get on the ball and carry out the Great Commission and show the Light of Jesus Christ to one person at a time! www.fggam.org That is what God has called us to do.

That is the solution! Let us not be constant complainers, let us be people of Godly action!

Do not be puzzled when you hear the darkness and see the darkness……it is what it is……

The solution is our Lord Jesus Christ! AMEN!

Second Minnesota teen dies of flu in 10 days; officials urge shots

Carly Christenson, a ninth-grader at St. Louis Park High School, had been hospitalized since Dec. 24. The virus has killed five people and hospitalized at least 600 in the state since October.Carly’s parents, Sean and Sandy Christenson, were in mourning Tuesday night and declined to speak to the media. Their church, Westwood Lutheran in St. Louis Park, said on its Facebook page that Carly’s parents and her 12-year-old brother, Wyatt, were with her when she died. Candles will be lit and prayers said in her memory at the church’s regular Wednesday evening service at 6:30 p.m. Her funeral was being planned for Saturday.

I do not take the flu shot.

Also let us pray for the family and friends of 103 year old Episcopal Clergyman Albert Weatherbee Tarbell, who has passed onto heaven.This man preached until he was 100 years old!!! He served here in Albuquerque. He was a WWII vet, gathering intelligence during the war, he was in his earlier years a Broadway producer!

Rabbi Isaac Celnik has passed on. He spent more than 40 years in Albuquerque. 30 of them as Spiritual Leader of the Congregation B’nai Israel. He was an Army Chaplin in the Vietnam War. He really worked hard to bring togetherness, working with the Catholic Church and other denominations. let us pray for his family and friends.

Let us pray for Karen Rowe with her breast cancer and our friend Jolene undergoes surgery today for breast cancer.

Last night a Memorial service was held for Mistie Miles Mother, Denna. Mistie and I worked together for years in radio. Mistie and Dave, Family of Denna, What a wonderful Memorial service last night! Pastor Gary Cowan of Calvary Chapel East delivered a solid message and the theme of Denna’s life here on earth of sowing seeds so that many other’s would have the joy of Jesus. Proverbs 11: 24-25 One gives freely, yet grows all the richer; another withholds what he should give, and only suffers want. Whoever brings blessing will be enriched, and one who waters will himself be watered. Denna bathed in that water each day.

Too Many say they don’t hear God……
To hear God we must actively wait and meditate upon His Word.
Colossians 3:16 declares, “Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom, teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.”

One of the reasons God commands us to be filled with the Holy Spirit is that He not only empowers us for service but also is essential to our hearing God! If the Spirit is quenched and grieved, He cannot deliver the message of God because we are not listening. If we refuse to hear what the Holy Spirit says to us, then our praying is useless babbling into heaven and God does not hear it.

We must realize this, as we minister to others in helping them connect with God.

Too many Christians get lazy and just say, “Pray…..about it,” without checking the spiritual condition of the person.

Too many Christians are drive by say’ers of…I’m praying for you……..are you really?

“Have a battle you’re fighting? Try this idea:

Just before the Battle of the Bulge, as Allied forces found themselves surrounded by the enemy and hounded by freezing rain that kept reinforcements from reaching them in the Ardennes Forest, Gen. George Patton asked his chief chaplain to write a prayer for good weather. Patton then used it as a training letter for 3,000 officers, asking them to instr…uct all their enlisted men to pray. “Those who pray do more for the world than those who fight,” the letter said. “We must urge, instruct and indoctrinate every fighting man to pray as well as fight. In Gideon’s day and in our own, spiritually alert minorities carry the burdens and bring the victories.”

A week after the prayers began, the troops received an answer: The rain ceased, relief came and the Nazi advance was crushed.

The letter of 1944 shows us that with all the battles we have to fight, and all the means that have been given to us with which to fight them, our most effective weapon is always prayer. The One who calls His people to be overcomers holds all victories in His hands, and is able to do “immeasurably more than we can ask or imagine.”

GROCERY LIST Louise Redden, a poorly dressed lady with a look of defeat on her face, walked into a grocery store.. She approached the owner of the store in a most humble manner and asked if he would let her charge a few groceries.. She softly explained that her husband was very ill and unable to work, they had seven children and they needed food. John Longhouse, the grocer, scoffed at her and requested that she leave his store at once. Visualizing the family needs, she said: ‘Please, sir! I will bring you the money just as soon as I can.’ John told her he could not give her credit, since she did not have a charge account at his store. Standing beside the counter was a customer who overheard the conversation between the two The customer walked forward and told the grocer that he would stand good for whatever she needed for her family. The grocer said in a very reluctant voice, ‘Do you have a grocery list?’ Louise replied, ‘Yes sir.’ ‘O..K’ he said, ‘put your grocery list on the scales and whatever your grocery list weighs, I will give you that amount in groceries.’ Louise hesitated a moment with a bowed head, then she reached into her purse and took out a piece of paper and scribbled something on it. She then laid the piece of paper on the scale carefully with her head still bowed. The eyes of the grocer and the customer showed amazement when the scales went down and stayed down.. The grocer, staring at the scales, turned slowly to the customer and said begrudgingly, ‘I can’t believe it.’ The customer smiled and the grocer started putting the groceries on the other side of the scales. The scale did not balance so he continued to put more and more groceries on them until the scales would hold no more. The grocer stood there in utter disgust. Finally, he grabbed the piece of paper from the scales and looked at it with greater amazement. It was not a grocery list, it was a prayer, which said: ‘Dear Lord, you know my needs and I am leaving this in your hands.’ The grocer gave her the groceries that he had gathered and stood in stunned silence. Louise thanked him and left the store. The other customer handed a fifty-dollar bill to the grocer and said; ‘It was worth every penny of it. Only God Knows how much a prayer weighs.’ THE POWER: When you receive this, say a prayer. That’s all you have to do. Just stop right now, and say a prayer of thanks for your own good fortune….. Then please send this to all your friends and relatives.. I believe if you will send this testimony out with prayer in faith, you will receive what you need God to do in you and your families’ life .. So dear heart, trust God to heal the sick, provide food for the hungry, clothes and shelter for those that don’t have as we do. Amen & Amen January 8, 2013. He’s concerned about your unbelief.”

A very Dear friend of mine who I had the blessing of baptizing awhile back in Minneapolis Minnesota, Randy Thom, goes to jail today for 60 days. Randy has confessed his sin and been forgiven by our Father. Randy is a tremendous witness to all those around him, I was one of many that wrote letters to the Judge asking for mercy. It was delivered by our Lord! AMEN! As I talked to Randy this morning before he enters the jail I told him that out of this is going to result in a greater testimony for our Lord!

Dr. W. Edward Bedore wrote this on Paul’s Prayers from Prison………

EPHESIANS 1:15-23

The Apostle Paul starts the letter to the Ephesians with these words: “Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places” (Eph. 1:3). This sets the theme of the letter, which is the believers’ position “in Christ.” The words translated “blessed” and “blessing” come from the Greek root word ulogeo. This word carries the general meaning of “to give honor to.” In other words, Paul is saying that the uniquely honored and highly exalted God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ has honored the members of the Body of Christ with every spiritual honor in the heavenly places. This is an astounding statement of spiritual fact. The first three chapters of Ephesians are built directly on this verse, and the last three chapters are directly related to it.
Paul’s prayer as recorded in verses 15-23 is an appeal that God would grant the Ephesians spiritual enlightenment and understanding of the blessings bestowed on them “in Christ” as outlined in verses 4-14. This request, of course, is not only to the Ephesian church but includes every believer from Paul’s day until now. These spiritual blessings are referred to as “the hope of His calling” and “the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints”(verse 18).
The Lord Jesus Christ is seated at the Father’s “right hand in the heavenly places.” He has been exalted above and beyond all others in heaven and earth. As believers, we who were dead in sin have now been made alive with Christ and made to “sit together in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus” (Eph. 2:1-7). To understand your calling “in Christ” read and re-read the first three chapters of Ephesians and ask God to grant Paul’s prayer on your behalf.

I have been doing a lot of thinking and praying this weekend…and God is so amazing…but I have also realized how much I take my own health for granted…how quickly something can happen that can be such a life-changing event…not only for myself…but for the people around me…..today is my brother’s Birthday and Terry…I wish you a very Happy one….yesterday…a lifetime friend…underwent a very serious operation…and the outcome looks very good….today also another friend is in a position to square away a part of his like and put it behind him…godspeedRandal Thom….I am so proud of you and your friendship is a treasured part of my past…..Life changes all around us each and every day….some time it can be frightening, sometimes joyful, sometimes filled with sadness. But for me…I am Blessed because I know that God and Lord Jesus are with me…guiding me…holding my friends and family in their arms…and that brings, joy, consolation and peace to me. Have an awesome week everyone….be safe…be happy…be grateful and be blessed.

Sunday was a POWERFUL movement of the HOLY SPIRIT at Rock Rio Church in Rio Rancho. My report to you this day is the Lord is raising me up further and further along with my wife Sharon. This walk, journey or whatever you want to call it is so AWESOME, even thou we do not know where are next nickel is going to come from. The Lord is teaching us much that we share with everybody. I wish I would be taping all my sermons to share with you all that are not able to come to the service. Sharon and I have turned over our lives completely to the Lord and the Holy Spirit has put a blanket over us. YOU HAVE TO UNDERSTAND MY DEAR FRIENDS THIS IS NOT OF ME AND SHARON BUT OF OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST, OUR LIVES ARE COMPLETELY FOR HIM AND NOT MAN AND OUR BOASTING TO YOU IS OF HIM NOT OF US SO YOU CAN SEE THE WONDERS HE DOES! WE DON’T HAVE FANCY “STUFF” WE ARE JUST SIMPLE PEOPLE IN LOVE WITH OUR LORD.

My life is worth nothing unless I use it for the work assigned me by the Lord Jesus. Acts 20:24

Too many of you are out there today trying to please man. Your too attached to “stuff” What does the “stuff” mean to God?

Is what you are doing this day for the eternal…….or for man and “stuff”?

For too long I served Man. We all, no matter where we are at need to serve God first. “Stuff” is what has gotten the Church and the United States in trouble!

Sharon and I face huge challenges like many of you,……but we have our Lord Jesus Christ, our family and many, many friends like you!

Please keep our daughter Gretchen in your prayers as she evaluates her next step in life.

One thing I sure have found is that as you are raised up by our Lord, satan attacks your children and other areas of your life. Your prayers for our family and for FGGAM are so much appreciated!

Just one final note on family…..There is nothing more POWERFUL than a husband and wife together in our Lord, a couple that has just died to themselves and has given their lives completely to our Lord. That is another reason we must stand in the gap for the sanctity of marriage! AMEN! Let us pray for those couples that are not on the same page with God! AMEN! Revival starts in our homes! AMEN!

G – Finally, Lord, we welcome the empowering Holy Spirit to this house, and into each of our lives. We know that these commitments and dedications are impossible for us to keep in our own strength. The only way that we can fulfill what we have promised to You today, is by Your Spirit at work in us.
S- Thank You, Jesus. We praise You. We worship You. We love You. And we look forward with great anticipation to how You will work out these declarations in our lives and here at Rock Rio.

As Jesus told those He loved the night before He died, this is my body broken for you. Take and eat the Bread of Life.

After I posted the 10 benefits of Walking in the favor of God by Pastor Reyes, Grace posted this reply…….excellent words by Grace……..a message for all of us!

Grace Cordova Kalberer Amen! Amen! All too often we hear about what life is like without our Fathers love, without His favor snd grace. But we don’t hear enough about God’s enormous heart and His profound blessings to those He loves. I’ve always said, you cannot frighten or coerce anyone into following the Lord. 1. Supernatural increase and promotion

Genesis 39:20b-22 But while Joseph was there in the prison, the LORD was with him; he showed him kindness and granted him favor in the eyes of the prison warden. So the warden put Joseph in charge of all those held in the prison, and he was made responsible for all that was done there.

2. Restoration of everything that has been taken from you

Exodus 3:21 “And I will make the Egyptians favorably disposed toward this people, so that when you leave you will not go empty-handed.”

Job 33:26 He prays to God and finds favor with him, he sees God’s face and shouts for joy; he is restored by God to his righteous state.

3. Honor even in midst of adversaries

Exodus 11:3 The LORD made the Egyptians favorably disposed toward the people, and Moses himself was highly regarded in Egypt by Pharaoh’s officials and by the people.

4. Increase assets especially in the area of real estate

5. Provision and overflowing harvest

Deuteronomy 33:16 with the best gifts of the earth and its fullness and the favor of him who dwelt in the burning bush. Let all these rest on the head of Joseph, on the brow of the prince among his brothers.

6. Protection from the LORD

10. Battles are won in which you won’t even have to fight because God will fight them for you

Psalm 44:3 (NKJV) For they did not gain possession of the land by their own sword, nor did their own arm save them; but it was Your right hand, Your arm, and the light of Your countenance, because You favored them.

Prayer for God’s Favor:

“O Lord God I seek Your favor upon my life today. Because You have given me Your righteousness, I believe that I have found favor in the eyes of God. Because You are a covenant-keeping God, You will look on me with favor and make me fruitful and bring increase in my life.

Like Joseph, I will prosper in every position, concern, or situation where I am in, because the Lord is with me. Because of Your favor, I experience preferential treatment from other people. Since I work with integrity I will obtain favor from God. A good man obtains favor from the Lord, and those who do what’s right cannot be removed. I actively seek and live by Your higher wisdom; therefore, I am highly favored and esteemed in the sight of God and men. Your favor brings promotion and approval. You O Lord take pleasure in my prosperity. You desire for me to prosper in every area of my life— spiritually, financially, emotionally, physically, mentally and socially. You surround and protect me with favor like a shield; therefore, no sickness or disease can live in my body. I thank You Lord that Your favor upon my life endures for a lifetime. I give You praise and honor. In Jesus’ name, Amen!”

The Favor of God!

January 7, 2013. Checking your heart at the door could be a very wise thing for your behavior. The words that flow from your lips flow directly from your heart. Your mouth speaks from that which is in your heart. Wise people in my family and from God himself advise me to keep my thinking true to God’s heart and truth. Pray that He put a guard, or a pair of fiery angels about your mouth to keep your words pure and holy. If you think it in your heart, there is a probably chance that those thoughts will shape your behavior and even your character. God says you are a good tree and that you are to bear good fruit. Then it will be evident what is in your heart. Pray about it.
