Dear Family of our Lord Jesus Christ,
God Bless you all for stopping by for a CUP today! We love you so much in our Lord.
Thank you all for praying for little Reno, Buffy and I brought him to the Vet early this morning for his surgery.
Sharon and I are touched beyond with the love shown to us, everyday your love shines on us!
I asked by Dear friend Rob Ramseyer if I could share this with you all. I have known Rob for years as a good friend and radio engineer. He sent me a note a couple of years back, that he would fax a copy of the CUP to his Mom in Goshen, Indiana. WOW! What love Rob has for his Mother. What also hit me was that I wonder if Rob’s Mom knew of me when I was at WFRN radio in South Bend/Elkhart. Goshen was just a stone throw from the station on CR 26. The Lord has shown me that Rob’s Mom was a gentle soul. She passed away last week at 94 years of age. I am touched beyond, that she would read the CUP and that we were connected by God that way through her son. Let us learn that love never dies. Let us learn from Rob’s example of sharing the CUP with his Mom. Let us take time for each other.
Surely Goodness and Mercy
shall follow me
all the days of my life and
I shall dwell in the House of the Lord
FOREVER. —Psalm 23

This is from my new Dear Friend Lance Niievaard. Sharon and I met lance and his lovely wife Robin at Rock Rio Church! They are missionaries. Thank you for sharing Lance!
Can I tell you about Jesus………………Maybe you have heard of Him? Maybe you have heard some stories about Him? Maybe in Sunday School, Vacation Bible School or in a Pastor’s sermon? Maybe you have read about Him in the Bible and maybe you have done so for years? Maybe you even call Him your Savior?
For 33 years I thought I knew Jesus. Did I really know Him? No, not really. I knew about Jesus. I asked Him to come and live in my heart at the age of five. I considered myself to be a Christian. I read the Bible because I was told to and I would pray. I attended church, served at church and brought our kids up in church. I could tell you what being a Christian was. It was having a personal relationship with Jesus! Did I have one? Looking back now………No! I didn’t.
Out of the blue, the Holy Spirit called me to complete obedience to God and to purity. As I took a couple steps in obedience, directed by His Holy Spirit, Jesus ran to me. He woke me up one night to pray. I got up and went out into the dark living room. I began to worship Him. Sharing what was in my heart for Him. Then I sat in complete silence and listened. Then, God, the Creator of all things, who made the heavens and the earth, spoke to me! He would talk to me and I would talk to Him! He would encourage me, bring me revelation and teach me by His Spirit! I met Jesus!!!!!
Jesus is not a story character. Jesus is not just part of history. Jesus is not dead! He is ALIVE! Jesus is my everything! I have truly found myself in Him! I was created for Him and to KNOW him. Intimately! He is the lover of my soul, the reason for which I live. Jesus died on a cross for me and I give my life for Him, even unto death. Jesus did not remain in a grave. He was raised to life and reigns and rules. Jesus dwells inside me with fullness of Glory! He is not a part of my life, JESUS IS MY LIFE! He talks with me, guides me and continues to reveal who He is to me! For so many years there was very little I could tell you about Jesus. Now, I know Him and not just facts about Him. I get to be a co-heir with Jesus! We have the same Father! Jesus is the Living Son of God! All powerful and ever present. Jesus is love, the Prince of Peace, Wonderful Counselor! Jesus still heals the sick and wants to! Jesus still casts out demons and restores the brokenhearted! He is full of mercy, kindness and patience. He is so very faithful and He wants to be revealed through us! Jesus is still the calmer of storms! I can do nothing apart from Him. John 15:5 But, I can do everything through Him (Jesus) who gives me strength. Philippians 4:13
Maybe you can relate? Maybe you know about Jesus but don’t really KNOW him? Jesus is ALIVE! He is calling us. Will we stop? Will we listen? Jeremiah 33:3 (NIV) ‘Call to me and I will answer you and tell you great and unsearchable things you do not know.’
Thank you for these words today Brother!
We got this note from Rick this morning as we awoke to this day and to bring Reno to Dr. Elizabeth for surgery……
Rick was very clear that I must post this……….Love your passion for our Lord Rick and your love for me and Sharon and Reno and Buffy who have ministered to you, For God’s Glory Alone! ……….
To all my Friends who follow Pastor Dewey at FGGAM…
Few know me so let me introduce myself as briefly as I can… I met Pastor Dewey within the last year and to some extent it was his PURE LOVE for all GOD’s creatures that brought us together… During this time Pastor Dewey took me in and helped me through several catastrophic situations currently disrupting my life… (Sudden unexpected loss of one of my two brothers located in Dallas, TX; loss of my precious little girl (my dog) Suzy-Q who enlightened our lives for over 12 loving years and the loss of my employment all within a few months..) He also assisted us through a tragic situation where one of our other lovely dogs had a rather large litter of puppies (8 in total) and she could not manage to feed that many which resulted in several hospitalizations to the tune of over $2000.00 to save her life and eventually we had to place the puppies in a foster home; (she was such a loving and good mother, despite all our attempts), she could not restrain herself from continuing to try to feed the puppies after she got back home)… Pastor Dewey was there every step of the way and assisted me and my most precious wife through all these tragic situations and brought us both back to the Church and the ways of our glorious Lord…
This is a TRUE ‘Man Of GOD’ who would give his all to anyone in need… If you’re on a wayward path, Pastor Dewey will give you ALL the time required to help you back into a pathway to GOD… If you’re stuck at a gas pump with an empty wallet and an empty gas tank he’ll give what little he may have to put gas in your tank… If you have an empty heart he’ll fill it up for you with the love of our LORD…
Times are tough for us ALL… With the loss of my employment, my limited retirement from the military and a limited income from my wife due to her poor health, are living on a very small 401k we had until I can find employment and sustain our lifestyle again which has been greatly depleted with vet bills and the like…
It’s a hard time of the year and donations to support Pastor Dewey in his work are slim… Despite the constant worry of feeding the family and the possibility of losing our home, my wife and I try to send Pastor Dewey a $10.00 check weekly to help support his work for our LORD… Now he and his lovely wife and family face a bill for THOUSANDS to help save the life of his beloved RENO who actually ministered to me along with his other precious dog Buffy and the Pastor himself…
Upon learning of Reno’s situation my wife suggested that ‘JUST ONE NIGHT’ when we we’re planning a dinner out for a small celebration, which we don’t do very often now, we stay home and eat in and take the difference and send to the Pastor… You will see attached the check we placed in the mail today… No, it is not much; but to us right now, a $5, $10 or $15 check each week is substantial…
Pastor Dewey daily, through FGGAM, the daily CUP, his new radio show and “Dewey & Friends” each Saturday night spends long long long days and hard hard work to help us understand the word of our LORD and our lives are substantially enriched through his arduous work…
PASTOR DEWEY (and RENO) NEED OUR HELP My Friends… I’m asking us all to try to find and extra $1, $5, anything you can do and help the Pastor and his Precious Wife Sharon through this situation where they are facing thousands and thousands in veterinarian bills… If you can’t, it’s understood, but I’m asking you all, anyone who can find anything as small as an extra dollar to send it the Pastor’s way… This past week, with Pastor Dewey’s support and help, I have found new employment in a sales job… Unfortunately it is new to me and it’s commission only and it’s actually costing me more than I’m making, but with the Lord’s help whom Pastor Dewey helped bring back in our lives, will be very fruitful in the future… At that point I fully intend to provide more and more support for him and his hard work… In the mean time, (just once, if not more, please try to find something just a little extra and show the Pastor the support he shows us on a daily basis…

January 30, 2013. The rich and the poor live side by side. These are good times for the rich. But self-sufficiency will creep in on those who have come to think of themselves as totally secure in their money and wealth. You invested in the things of this world. Without your repentance, what you leave to your heirs will be contested with no peace. Instead, buy gold from me because it has been refined by fire. This type of gold is all blessings. You are slowly losing your sight to see as I see. Buy eye salve from Me and see. In pure love, I am waiting for you. Let us reason together and remember the poor.
