Billy Graham: True prayer is a way of life, not just for use in cases of emergency. Make it a habit, and when the need arises you will be in practice.

Men and women who fear God are afraid to be away from God. AMEN!

PRAISE GOD! Sharon is speaking, preaching, teaching up a storm of glory for God! She has spoken twice this week already! She’s preaching more than me! People love to hear her speak, what an encourager! We had no idea the Lord had this planned!!! I for the last 3 months have been doing much counseling, and less preaching and Sharon is the one out preaching and teaching! PRAISE GOD!!!! I am so proud of my wife, so in love with her!

The picture above is really what the CUP and FGGAM are all about, seeking the Lord. The CUP started nearly 16 years ago for prayer. Praying for the needs of others, and we continue to do this everyday. My testimony to you is that prayer is my way of life, I am in a constant conversation with our Father. I try not to do anything, say anything unless it is of God. I have found that when i say what I say, I make a mistake when I say what the Father wants me to say, I never fail because of Him.

Billy Graham says that heaven is full of answers to prayer for which no one ever bothered to ask! He also said, If there are any tears shed in heaven, they will be over the fact that we prayed so little.

How is your prayer life? Come on now I am going to challenge you on that? Do you start your day in prayer? Do you constantly pray over everything? Paul teaches us to pray constantly. How do you know what to do if you are not praying and listening? Do you hear God? The wrongs of this world are because of God not being present.

Billy also said, We should not pray for God to be on our side, but pray that we may be on God’s side.

Let me share with you an email from a friend yesterday…..We get many prayer requests that we do not publish because the folks do not want that.

Again Dewey thanks so much for praying for me during a difficult time. Cannot begin to tell you how encouraging it is to have Godly people praying. I thought of FGGAM this morning when reading John 8:47. You do hear from God and pray that many others will have their eyes opened by FGGAM. Blessings

Whoever is of God listens to God. Those who belong to God hear the words of God. This is the reason that you do not listen to those words, to Me: because you do not belong to God and are not of God or in harmony with Him.

So my friends, do you belong to God? Do you hear from God? 

I am in so much love with God........my Father, who art in Heaven! 

My Father who I can talk to constantly!

Think of this friends, our prayers rest in God's ears........WOW! So rest in that!

Now I want to share with you an email from Rick Stambaugh. The Lord put Rick, his wife Sandy and me, Sharon and Buffy and Reno together! Rick and Sandy came back to the Lord after we met them, they joined a church I Preached at, Pastor Marty Cooper and Sister Mable Lopez........their struggles increased over this

time. The challenges did not decrease! But Rick and Sandy's faith and testimony INCREASED!

I would like you to read this testimony............... 

Haven't talked to you much lately & miss you... Know you're a busy busy man in the fight for our Lord & I've been rather busy with the health issues and my family coming in town for a short visit last weekend; only had one day with them but it was very rewarding (and tiring) for us all... My brother Jim's (the brother who passed away last year) wife & several of their children & grandchildren joined the visit as well... We also had the opportunity to spread Jim's ashes in the foothills while there we're here which was his wish... Hope you're keeping up with my status on caringbridge... The fight (with GOD on my side) started yesterday with 6 1/2 hrs of chemo & 45 minutes of radiation and just about fully recovered from my surgery last Friday... feeling pretty yuky now but will undergo what ever is necessary to get any extra time GOD will grant us here in this stage of life with my precious family... Know GOD will lead us on the path he thinks we should be on and have NO fears, (Yea though I walk through the valley

I am sorry that the CUP is late, but it is a blessing because Dave of the Windom paper was doing a feature on FGGAM! www.fggam.org! I will let you know when the write up comes out! My roots to Windom run deep, that is where my foundation in God was planted and grown on, Windom soil! It is such a Godly honor to be able to write a devotional column from time to time in the Windon Paper. By the way Dave is reading some of the old write up’s that my Dad wrote for the Windom paper in the early 60’s, he covered the sports beat for the paper! One of the things that came out in the interview was that at FGGAM we try to show people, that we teach or counsel, that the roots of family our so important, the roots to God are the most important but family is next. We are in this mess because the fabric of the family is being torn apart by the darkness. We like to help people establish roots to God and family, or as in many instances, re-establish.

Now this is not a picture of drought in Minnesota, they have had good rains, this is New Mexico………

So it has been a very busy morning with the news of the day and the interview with my Dear friend Dave of the Windom Paper.

Supreme Court Decisions Today, the US Supreme Court decided two cases concerning marriage. Though we hoped the court would have held up the definition of marriage, we are thankful that states (including New Mexico) can decide marriage for themselves. The following are quotes from our friend Austin R. Nimocks, Senior Council with Alliance Defending Freedom: Defense of Marriage Act: “The Supreme Court got it wrong in saying that a state that has redefined marriage can force that definition on the federal government. The federal government should be able to define what marriage is for federal law just as states need to be able to define what marriage is for state law. Americans should be able to continue advancing the truth about marriage between a man and a woman and why it matters for children, civil society, and limited government.” “Marriage–the union of husband and wife–is timeless, universal, and special, particularly because children need a mother and a father. We must not get discouraged, but encouraged in our Lord.

You are the salt of the earth, but if salt has lost its taste it’s strength, its quality, how can its saltness be restored? It is right to have good Godly fun. Herb, one of our pitchers at Amistad loves his photo shop! I am pictured with Bud a new player for us from Edgewood!

Godly fun is fellowship, no swearing, no drinking, no smoking, pure fun in laughter, shouts of joy, It is a precious thing. We won our doubleheader last night and had a blast! I had my best game defensively and on the base paths, but injured my right wrist and left knee. Please pray for healing. The Lord is already healing me and I am going to have acupuncture this morning.

This morning I have already shared at www.fggam.org the Word of the Day………….This is the best life plan, the best life insurance, the best business plan.

Open your Bibles to Proverbs 16: 1-3 please read slowly

The plans of the mind and orderly thinking belong to man, but from the Lord comes the wise answer of the tongue.

All the ways of man are pure in his own eyes, but the Lord weighs the spirits, the thoughts and intents of the heart.

Roll your works upon the Lord, commit and trust them wholly to Him; He will cause your thoughts to become agreeable to His will, and so shall your plans be established and succeed.

Now these Words of God need to be shared with people around you………read this over and over! pray over these Words of God. The key to life is God’s Word, the bread of life, AMEN!
