Dear Family of our Lord Jesus Christ,
We have new audio and video up for you at www.fggam.org Please visit our new media section. You can hear many sermons from Pastor Leonard Navarre of Valley View Christian Church! For God’s Glory Alone!
I am very sorry I did not get a CUP out yesterday. The Lord has me working at FGGAM.ORG longer than I thought. Yesterday morning I also spent about 2 hours with a man. Encouraging this man who knows God and I pray that he get’s to know God even more, just like all of us! Amen! His name is Rob, he is a new friend of FGGAM and goes to Church, a tremendous family and business man. It is a blessing to spend time with people one on one. It is what God has told us to do. People have always needed one on one attention. I did not plan this meeting, God did.
So my schedule is always second to God’s! Amen!
Thursday night after being with our friends from Valley View Christian Church in Edgewood, NM at the food pantry there, I talked with my cousin Barbara Nelson of Windom, Minnesota who lost her daughter Tiffany in a motorcycle wreck on August 2nd of this year. We spent a lot of time talking. When my Mom and Dad died I went to grief counseling and WOW! Was I disappointed! I found it lacking in the Church. I then discovered a great group and then became a teacher on mourning the loss of a loved one, I mainly taught Widow’s. Barb shared with me the hurtful things people have said to her and her husband Rick, not on purpose, but a lack of Godly wisdom. People sometimes simplify the death of our loved ones, with comments like, They are in a better place, They are smiling on you……they are driving around heaven saying hi to everybody……….Those type of comments do not help at the time of the death of a loved one. What helps is to let the person know you are sincerely praying for them, for peace, strength and wisdom. Also give a Jesus hug to them, love on them, hold them, hold their hand and pray with them, or just hold onto them. Show them the love of Jesus. Most of the time few words are needed. I know that people do not mean harm in their comments. It is mainly because the Church has not taught how to do death. I remember when my Mom died of cancer, I had so many Christian people tell me, “Well, my Mom was cured of cancer.” Okay, that sure made my heart sink and break…….My Mom was as good a Christian as anybody, why did my Mom die and yours live? That kind of comment and thinking get’s us no where. We have to understand God is God, and a lot of things that happen here will not be answered until we get to Heaven. Life does not end here on earth, it begins in heaven again, where it started, with eternal life. We, even the Church are so tied up here on this planet, that we lose focus of our impending death, here on earth that will come to us all.
I am very tired this morning, and need rest. Please pray for me.

God’s infinite and abundant goodness is not based on my limited and human understanding
He who passively accepts evil is as much involved in it as he who helps perpetuate it,”

I want to share with a miracle. I cannot share with you the name of this person at this time, out of respect for him and the family.
This has been a miracle that I have been praying for, for just about 40 years! Do you hear me??? 40 years! That is not instant oatmeal which a lot of folks are after, instant answers, instant gratification. Just watch the TV and see a lot of these Pastor’s promise instant oatmeal! Instant wealth. It’s all about God and His ways. I prayed for this man to be able to function in society, to have a home and job and it has happened after 40 years! PRAISE GOD!
40 years!
I also am praying that for my brother Daryl, he has a home, but healing, restoration need to take place. This has been a journey of 25 years. Do not give up, do not give in. God does not give up on us, how dare we give up on anybody.
What I want you to take away from this is the time, whether it’s 25 years or 40 years God invented time…….God is still God. Read His Word each day, pray, and praise and LISTEN!
It’s the people who are in it for the long haul that will survive.
I share these scriptures with you on healing and miracles. God is still in the miracle making business.
Bible Verses About Healing – The Bible speaks often of miraculous healing through the work of Jesus Christ and through faith in God. Find Scripture that will encourage you and help you focus on finding comfort through the healing of Christ both spiritually and physically.

Trending today on twitter ~ things that destroy a relationship by Shari Hardway Johnson who writes for FGGAM.ORG
I find it somewhat odd that most everyone wants a great relationship with those they love but the media caters to anything but. Television, social media, print media and most all other forms of media have a fascination with promoting the worst of the worst. It’s a most definite trend for people young and old to make their heartaches known to the world on social media and then in the next post tell the world to mind their own business. What irony! And the end result of all that ranting is more heartache and a destroyed relationship, the very thing they didn’t want.
So… how do we not destroy our relationships?
1 Corinthians 13:13
And now abideth faith, hope, charity, these three; but the greatest of these [is] charity.
The greatest of the three is love, but love alone is not enough to keep from destroying a relationship else many couples would still be together; all three are crucial.
Faith
While a foundation in the faith of Christ Jesus is key to any good relationship, I have unfortunately witnessed many Christians with lousy relationships. Somewhere between “I do” and “I’m done” they lost faith in one another. I don’t throw stones; I may have the 33 year wedding anniversary tee shirt but it’s got some holes in it. But as I grow closer in my relationship with Christ, what I discover is my relationship with David grows closer too! We haven’t always been perfect, or anywhere close, but there are some things that have kept us together, and faith in each other is one of them.
Mariam Webster’s definition of faith is:
1) Allegiance to duty or a person : loyalty. A fidelity to one’s promises, sincerity of intentions
2) Belief and trust in and loyalty to God: belief in the traditional doctrines of a religion; firm belief in something for which there is no proof, complete trust.
3) Something that is believed especially with strong conviction; especially : a system of religious beliefs
Can you see why it’s so important? Allegiance, fidelity and a sincerity of intentions… that’s what we all want! But we’re human, we let each other down, break our promises and sometimes our sincerity is about as real as a signature at the bottom of a letter to “To Whom it may concern.” I speak truth, do I not? But when faith in God comes into the picture we learn to trust Him to help us trust each other and it’s that “strong conviction” that will keep a relationship together in the toughest of times.
Hope
1) To cherish a desire with anticipation; to desire with expectation of obtainment
2) To expect with confidence: trust.
3) To hope without any basis for expecting fulfillment
Sometimes that’s all we have. Faith appears to be gone, the “I love you’s” are no longer spoken, but we hope (a cherished desire) that a certain relationship will be mended. It would be a sad world without it. With it we can dream and imagine of that day when our relationship with that person is restored and whole again and with faith God can align all the circumstances for that very thing to happen. I have that “tee shirt” too.
Charity (love)
The greatest of these. And why is it the greatest? Because it is the foundation of both faith and hope.
John 3:16 – For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.God gave the ultimate sacrifice so that we could have the ultimate relationship with both Him and those we love. He gave His Son for an example that we might understand loving people takes sacrifice.
How do we not destroy a relationship? We continually take an honest look at ourselves first and in so doing we’ll see that we’re messed up too. If Christ can give His life on the cross for us, surely it’s not too much to ask for a little compassion and understanding from us toward our family and friends.
Here is a note from New Mexico Watchman Jose Vasquez: It’s been a long week Pastor Dewey. As you know the Supreme Court hearing did not go well. (same sex marriage proceedings) An absents of godly intent was glaringly apparent. We are praying for God’s miraculous grace on the state and the state’s Supreme Court.
Jose Vasquez
I am including a picture of me and my Dear brother Jose who I love much. He is also a Board Member of FGGAM. We adore his lovely wife Miki who has much fire for God, I pray more get Miki’s fire!
Let me just say that Brother Jose is a true man of God, a pure, precious man of God as is his wife Miki. We need more Jose’s and Miki’s. They stand in the gap for God at the New Mexico State Capitol at all times, true Watchmen on the Wall!
This is a tiring battle, but we must stand strong. I can tell too many so called Christians are giving up. I see it in their faces when I Preach it, we see it here at FGGAM.ORG, many are reading the posts on Abortion but far less on same sex marriage, as they believe it is inevitable.
Just a side note here, awhile back I had a man say, “Good sermon, but you surprised me by preaching on abortion, why would you preach on abortion in the church?”
It may be because the Church has stood by and watched 50 million babies be killed.
We are at, where we are at, because Christians have not stood strong,
You could say, we are getting what we asked for as a result of being the “Sit More do little Church”
As I have shared of late: Problems always begin when people gather together in their own wisdom apart from God’s power and presence.
We see the results of this all around the United States of America, there is no hiding these sinful ways.
Thousands of gay marriage opponents rallied in Illinois at the capital Wednesday, trying to convince lawmakers to vote against Senate Bill 10, which will allow gay couples to marry. House Sponsor Greg Harris says he’s actually close to getting the votes he needs, but he hasn’t said when he’ll call the bill.
What will Christians do? What are you going to do?
Let us be in prayer for the sanctity of marriage and that many more will stand in the gap for God on marriage and abortion, in Jesus name we pray, Amen!
